Season 08

greetings traveler You’ve just landed on the Mikey and Me podcast But fear not for this is no mistake No fault in the
stars no glitch in the matrix I’m afraid this has all been planned Predetermined by powers no not to us So pull up a
chair and join us as we find our way together For you are among friends
and family There we go Jeff is back I
think Yeah The Fast and the Furious movie I love it You know was it what Jeff When you hear your family is that
how it goes Is that Yeah I think that’s our our catchphrase isn’t it I’m sorry We don’t We’re family We don’t We hit
them all out We don’t miss And we have family and friends Okay What is it Okay
I don’t even remember I I don’t remember We don’t miss right Oh yeah There it is
24 Oh they don’t either They don’t Yeah No that’s a good point No they don’t miss You know what Also no that’s right
It is 8:24 69° in Louisiana tonight with a high of 76 and a low of 66 So they
haven’t quite hit that low in Louisiana tonight Tomorrow uh there’s a 50% chance of preip this evening and a 40% chance
of preip tomorrow So if you’re in Louisiana area tomorrow make sure you bring your slickers with you and perhaps
an umbrella because there’s a chance of a gully washer You never know Some good
information Jeff I hope I hope you’re listening because it might it might be helpful It was a wet one today not gonna
lie Taco Bell Hell yeah dude Heck Jeff’s like he’s actually not wrong for once
You can’t hate off It’s been a sunny day but I’ll tell you what it was a wet one here too Oh
you know before it’s like what’s up Wait what So Jeff this this this week’s movies um we’re going through the 1990s
you know So but before we get into that I today when I was working I had a uh I
had a thought like and I was like wouldn’t it be funny I just imagined if you heard some of the most popular lines
like in movies that we know but they were coming from like a Cambodian guy
Okay Did you do a Cambodian voice to have an idea what that sounds like I’ll be back
Okay I gotcha Very succinct like a I’ll be back Yeah It’s like a very succinct
almost like a gas station guy but even tighter Yeah Yeah Do you feel lucky punk
Okay Do you feel lucky punk Huh You know what I mean No Yeah What’s another movie you
thought of I don’t know Or you could say make my day You know go ahead Make my day That’s good Say uh say uh say the
first rule of fight club The first rule of fight club you know talk about fight
club Don’t talk fight club All right I like it We’re really going to test
culture Cambodian’s not good But I worked with No it’s it’s fine I’m happy This This is No no See that’s saying cuz
for me it’s not offensive but I think that whole exercise is going to be a good barometer on the current state of
culture to see if there’s any reaction to it in any way at all Cuz it’s not hateful There’s nothing wrong with
trying to I want to know what it sounds like And there’s nothing wrong with trying to imitate an accent So we’ll see Just imagine that Do feel lucky punk I
don’t I don’t I’ll be back So
so I’ll be back Yeah The way Yeah It ends with the question kind of right
Yeah Yeah man So I don’t know I just had that idea So either way
that’s might have to you might have to be back throughout the night
I was frozen today [ __ ] suburban commander Oh yeah
[ __ ] I was frozen today I was frozen today [ __ ] Oh [ __ ] Oh it’s a good
death All right So oh wait [ __ ] You know what Honorable mention Uh I actually uh
You recorded yourself doing this Who Me That’s how you rehearsed Me No
Yes you Did I record myself or Oh he’s always doing other stuff on his phone
What No I I pulled something up I was about to read off Oh okay Yeah Yeah Yeah No because I’m I’m recording him right
now So that covers it No No I pulled my phone up to read Oh
she’s trying to work Shout out Shout out to my mom My mom shared something to me with me that was pretty cool actually
Gina shout out But she said uh apparently Kiana Reeves charged 39,000
per word in of dialogue and John Wick to force them to write less less dialogue
Uh he spoke an average of 500 words in each of these first three John Wick films He felt this was too much and he
wanted his character to speak through action and not words So in John Wick 4
he charged them per word and was paid 15 million for 380 words spoken His
strategy worked as John Wick 4 is the best reviewed movie in the franchise with 94% on Rotten Tomatoes Cool Which
we don’t which we don’t credit So that’s cool Cool little piece of information
page out of Nipy Hustles book But either way he was like I don’t want to have a lot of dialogue So action is everything
and words mean [ __ ] Yep It’s like yeah I thought that was interesting right It’s like he pretty much had a lot of things
he’s done Even with Matrix the way he like he took less just to have things like it’s cool He’s a good dude Yeah
we’ll get him on We’ll get him on Yeah After we you know have to go through these movies from 1990 which I have Oh
the [ __ ] We’re going to get away They paid him how much to say how many words
1,990 words So I have by the way I quick quick uh note I I have all my [ __ ] on my
phone and some I don’t know if you saw some some guy commented I don’t know if it’s still there cuz Instagram like will
kick them off Oh is this the same one from before No it’s We got more hate mail The different one That’s exciting on one of on the last when we were doing
the dead zone Um when we were doing the dead zone one or whatever
um this guy commented and said something about uh he said you don’t think it’s
No I don’t think it is Okay So he said something about me and he was like uh he
said uh Oh yeah cuz that was it I had my phone out cuz I was going through about to like list my next pick after the dead
zone and he was like lazy [ __ ] can’t stay off his phone for two seconds and I’m like
okay dude and then it was like but it was hidden like so you couldn’t see it initially It’s like it was doing some
weird [ __ ] again So I think like Instagram automatically it’s like bless you Maybe there’s something setting we
can do that just allows all that stuff That’s what I’m saying Like I’m like I could care less but I’m like well I have
my [ __ ] I’ll take one comment every day of the week and I don’t care what it is unless it was um you guys [ __ ] suck
Yeah dude I’m like okay dude everybody likes it dude Thank you for my phone So
So what we’re saying is Matt made a spoof account to talk [ __ ] That’d be hilarious I think it was
[ __ ] Jackson Art Nord It was Jackson I think Art that’s uh Thank you for that
Jeff That’s actually uh it’s good thinking Um so here we got these these guys are [ __ ] lame
Am I right One like equals uh Yeah So the year is 1990 and my first pick for
the year of 1990 is Dances with Wolves because who doesn’t love Kevin Cosner and Wolves And threehour film
as specifically if you want me to trailer it or not You don’t have to trailer that It’s Dances with Wolves We
know what that one’s about Everybody’s I didn’t see the next one No I did No I’ve seen it I’ve seen it I was just Yeah
I’ve seen it I was talking about like how long it took me to see it but I think I was probably over 20 whenever I say it probably took about 3 hours to
see You have to commit to it Oh yeah No it’s a um whole [ __ ] thing All right
And then the next one you don’t have to pull up a you don’t have to pull up a trailer unless it uh unless it’s you
know tickles somebody’s fancy Mhm Um kindergarten cop Love it What a great
got a headache and it’s not a tumor It’s not a tumor It’s not a tumor Isn’t this the one where the It’s not a tumor So
Ludicrous even use the line from this song It’s not a tumor It’s not a tumor It’s not a tumor Yeah but sorry Why are
you asking about it specifically though Huh You’re going to ask a question about it specifically before we cut cutting
you off Isn’t this the movie where the kid was like “Boys have penises girls have vaginas.” Yes Kindergarten cop Yes
Yeah Yeah Well that’s problematic Yeah it is That’s problematic too Well not no
not anymore Not anymore It was up six months ago Poking holes It used to be
Yeah Said what It used to be the Gulf of Mexico He said “Don’t go poking holes.” I think that’s precisely what they’re
doing Well honestly like we live in quite possibly the most confusing time
to live This is confusing It is confusing Very confusing blur the lines
between everything you convince anybody of anything for the fall of any civilization Sounds good to me So the
next movie on this list which I would love a [ __ ] uh uh trailer for each
other’s trailer sandwiches Quigly Down Under I love this movie Tom Celic Tom
Celic My My uncle Larry I’d never seen this movie Quigley Down Under Yeah Yep
And my my uncle uh my uncle Larry God rest his soul RP Uncle Larry much love
to you my boy Um he was the reason I saw this movie He asked me because he knew I love Tombstone and he was like “Have you
ever seen Quigley?” And we went to Blockbuster because I was like “No I’ve never seen it.” And he was appalled that
I had never seen Quigley So he took me to Blockbuster We we rented it and then I loved it and he bought it for me So my
copy of Quigley I owe to my uncle Larry Thank you It’s a great movie though It’s
again if you don’t love Tom Celich it’s right here Yeah I love Tom Celich
right You know who else I love John Cusack Do you love John I dude I’m a big Cack
fan man What’s your top three Cusack films Uh the Essential Cusack film The
Essential The Cack The Choice Nugs Identity The choices Identity is a good
1408 Okay You like those Ice Harvest Um or was it No no high Fidelity Top three Or
the other one The that top three dude Fidelity I was I was just kidding That’s top three
Okay Top I’m a Cack guy That’s a Cack You’re gaslighting me man All right So
let’s check out this trailer Actually here we go Pander to me
I do love Cell right Such a good movie But a few surprises were waiting for
Quigley down under mention of his friendly coworker
It’s on their end not us This country is butt ugly as you three or that he’d get an assistant
Crazy Coral It’s funny that nothing about the transportation problem Such a 90s trailer cuz this movie is exactly
where we are We’re lost The unusual local inhabitants
The extraordinary cuisine I don’t eat things that are still moving You going to shoot it first
or the extra duties You can take me if you want to Wait is that lass
Yeah just shoot me His employer turned out to be somewhat mean What’s his name
No you could call it that Mr Quigley’s about to teach him a lesson in labor
relations Wow That’s why I said it’s such a 90s trailer
What the soundtrack to this movie goes so hard Oh yeah Yes
Listen to this song Okay Bro that [ __ ] 4570
Quickly is really beginning to annoy me Yeah Goosebumps Tom Yeah that [ __ ]
Sano from the director of the Emmy awardwinning Lonesomeve quickly just shoot me down under like I’ve never seen
that movie I didn’t even know it existed It’s such a good movie Is a like and
it’s funny because the trailer really did like that’s what I said that was like the most like 90s trailer It was
like if you watch just that trailer it was like ah there’s a lot of high jinks in this movie Like no it’s like a
[ __ ] like it’s a deep dramatic like you know it’s like yeah like
Alan Alan Mr Quigley Mr Quigley um it’s good
I’ll be watching that tonight I know how to use one We got fun right now So here we go Uh
the next one you can show a trailer for possibly the last there might be one more The last one I’ve only got like two
or three left So like Kings of New York I knew that I knew this would be I knew
it would be a pick for you Yeah Or is it Kings I thought it was just King No York Yeah Christopher Walkin Yeah Yeah Yep
And Larry Larry Fishburn Look at that The title of the movie or the or the
very first one Yeah Well because his name Yeah Larry Fishburn That was back before he started going by Lawrence Yeah
Somebody be cute He probably had an agent or somebody like it worked better as this Oh This trailer is he was on his
he was on his hood [ __ ] then
Jeff doing his Christopher walking
now do a Cambodian and they want they want to crap on Jeff Goldblum and they’ll equally love
walking where they have a parallel existence in their careers I appreciate his paid his debt style Go someplace
where you can stay out of trouble But some things don’t count One of them is a certain race and one isn’t I think
that’s what it is No It’s just a funny observation Oh no I don’t
Oh are you saying that Yeah And one likes one likes the Knicks and one likes
the Bulls I could give a [ __ ] attorney
Oh there’s the neck actor Oh yeah David Crusoe Whoa Christopher
Walking Million contract on anyone involved in this case The cops tried to
stop him their way I’m not your problem I’m just the businessman Now they’ll have to do it his way There’s only one
way to get it Frank Oh [ __ ] That David [ __ ] Caruso Yeah The
neck actor Christopher W this legit movie It was a
super good movie Yeah The director [ __ ] Farah hasn’t done a ton [ __ ] Carusal on the case Yeah No Yeah He’s Well and I
think Yeah His character in that movie too He was kind of a [ __ ] he like
Yeah he was I knew you would but And I’m glad you did And I have two more good
fellas and which if you want to show a trailer Yeah What’s good I feel like we owe it to 1990 to show You can’t knock
Can we just play
Here we go
Never ran on your friends and always keep your mouth shut
As far back as I could remember I always wanted to be a gangster
Hey Mom What do you think You look like a gangster I know By the time I grew up
there was 30 billion a year in cargo moving through Idaw airport Believe me we trying to steal every bit of it What
do you do I’m in construction He’s not Jewish
What Why is Lily barking For most of the guys killing’s got to be accepted Henry
oh it’s that other doggy Maybe I thought it said that that word What do you like The leg of the wing The leg of the
wing got his little uh what do they call it His his paw Got his paw stuck in the
hack it out And we were treated like movie stars with muscle We had it all Just hear the
toast of London Yeah This [ __ ] song is amazing
Yeah No Uh that’s one of these gifts I feel like he does at least up until a
certain point for me the soundtracks and how to use them He really uh he does it nicely in a nice
way You know what song is playing when they throw uh what’s his face off the
building in the the departed Uh yes I do It’s
um there goes my hero No that was the other guys Yeah it’s the
other guys I do It was uh Oh [ __ ] No I can’t I What is it I lost it Numb by Oh
Comfortably Numb Yeah By Pink Floyd It’s a It’s a uh It’s a cover Don Mayor right
Of the lead singer or whoever still left or Pink David Gilmore with Van Morrison
Oh okay I just know the Van was actually singing it You talking about the departed because that was as soon as he
was talking about Scorsesy and like songs and movies I like thought of uh
songs and proverbs No What was the Stone song that they used in uh
No that’s the that’s the you’re talking Dropkick Murphy’s one I’m thinking you hear me knocking No what was the uh not
Scorsese No Uh no because they did use the Dropkick Murphy song in the Scorsese movie But no the uh Yeah they use it
Yeah What is it Uh Grape Murder is just a shot away Oh yeah Yeah
Yeah Grape Yeah Oh yeah Murder Who is
[ __ ] for the devil Give me shelter Give me shelter That’s what it is Yeah Yeah One of those like
overplayed songs Well so perfect in that movie
That’s one that Yeah Cuz I never really cared for that song The departed In this country in this country that movie
didn’t come out in 1990 that I’m aware of No addes to your dick add you life
sentence That is true That’s good In this country here a no add and to your dick All right
man We’re definitely pivoting My last my last This is a definite pivot for the
audience we’re looking for and I can appreciate it
Okay so I don’t I don’t know Steve’s gonna like a show even more now I’m just
say that Oh my god dude Oh my god Um the next movie It gonna say it in the fun
voice The next movie I like to say it it It What is it Stephen King it Stephen
Spiel King Stephen King it Please say that Thank you Steen I apologize Stephen
King it There you go Steven Kings it Yes I just misspell everything
[ __ ] funny guy dude Oh I need to put 1990 Want balloons
Everybody flo There wasn’t a movie that came out it in Was that 1990 Look it was
Look it was I think it was Look at that Look at that It’s unbelievable for me I don’t believe it still It came out in
1990 I remember being terrified I remember the day this came out The clown
Yeah I never saw like I never saw until like the last 5 years Don’t talk clown
Don’t talk clown I am the mango man You’re not the mango
man Who are you guys anyway He’s not the mango man They all float down here right Mikey We’re sort of a Where’s the orgy
scene No that’s in the book Jeff Yeah the exactly Where is the director’s cut
Harvey Weinstein’s death Whoever directed this good on them for
leaving a handful of the book out We’re seven now Lucky seven That’s That could have been
a good orgy right there I’m sorry B seeing you
Seeing you I just want to forget about it It’s not just us It’s all the other
kids too Who’s going to be next
Shitty trailer Damn it Killed my brother All right [ __ ] it
George had common though Should we all agree on that Yeah What are you doing Yeah he was pretty dumb His parents not
telling him about sleas balls Wrong kid died Wrong kid died Actually I think the
right one I got you Be squeezing you and nobody was looking for nothing going
to happen today It was a scary ass movie though It was
fancy This scene that where he was in the field or whatever was scary You think Cena’s old enough for me to tell the story yet About 75 Yeah that’s about
how old I was when I was terrified by it Yeah About 1.5 years old
You know what scared me a lot as a kid was the fact that the adults paid no attention to any of the stuff going on
Oh the way they’re written in the show It’s like psychologically like [ __ ] for a kid Yeah it’s true They’re supposed to
be in charge They’re supposed to be Yeah Well I guess that’s like a thing Good point Makes a point that it’s it’s definitely not for kids you know It is
definitely not But and so it just further reinforces the point cuz why the [ __ ] did they let me watch it They
really don’t give a [ __ ] Yeah Talking about for kids but like I mean it ended
up on TV for access Oh yeah totally Maybe the movie but like the book is definitely kind of like an entry entry
to horror Yeah For me it comes down to the parent like actually being like “Shit I can’t let my kid watch anything
casually I need to like filter all that or not.”
Yeah man Let them let him get scared dude Yeah I mean they have dreams and nightmares that are worse than that
honestly You know I was seeing something uh about the crying out phase thing
apparently not being not being what you’re supposed to do You’re not supposed to just let your baby cry Yeah there’s a lot of studies on there’s
always been studies It goes both ways and it comes down to a parents you know decision how they think it’s the best
way to manage it Yeah I I’ll be honest We didn’t let ours do that You should put stacks of beehives in the in the
room with the baby cuz I heard the buzzings of the baby The buzz the buzzing the buzzing of the
bees emits a frequency Oh yeah it’s the god frequency 528 hertz
or one one of the other one There’s like a handful of free but you need to have the room needs to be majority beehive in
a small space Would you help facilitate that in a small spot for for child number two I want to be ready for
whenever we have a second control You have to control the temperature in there cuz I think you get hot There’s a lot of
movement All right We got a project I think we could do it I think we could set that up for a second baby What’s
your movies What you got for it 1990 1990 1990 Okay So a lot of stuff came
out Uh should I show I found a few trailers of movies that I like a lot and then I’ll spend a
little time on that movie Trust Did you I just you know if you watch I did not I actually You can You can blame my
girlfriend That’s cool What was Trust We We’ll get to that We’ll get to that one Every episode girlfriend We’ll get to
that Ain’t We’re going to blame her Oh okay In the girlfriend jar There we go
We’re going to put one in That’s all right Jeff I’ll put I’ll put two quarters in there I’ll mention her later I’ll Yeah we’ll keep a tab going I mean
actually we should do like a We’re gonna pitch in and get you a pay for girlfriend He can’t tell us come knock
on there We’re going to mail order It’s going to ruin his life and be like “Damn that was a bad decision.” He’s going to be like [ __ ] Bill Murray from St
Vincent or whatever it is where he has the Russian Oh gosh Is that the guy that
gets Russian Maybe So Predator 2 I’m selling this chair because I it’s
honestly probably my favorite Predator movie I’ve always loved this movie It came in 1990 Predator 2
Jesse Ventur had bigger arms than Arnold He did control the streets He got no
respect dude As bad as Matt you’re not wrong I remember
watching this movie with my dad dude For so many reasons Yeah the scene in like
the loft apartment when the dude’s just like [ __ ] mutilated Yeah I remember my dad It was just kind of like one of
those moments where it’s like it’s too late You kind of saw that Yeah No the graphic the way they did violence in
this one it was like wow It was actually but I really like the way it was done And also Danny Glover being the heroes I
love it He’s not some big badass or but like he’s he’s literally his same cop role He’s he comes across a predator you
know There’s a lot of interesting things except for the except for the [ __ ] Desert Eagle with the scope on it That’s
not necessarily like and it was dude but the end of this movie was like yeah when
I saw it was so cool whenever with the ship and all that stuff cuz this is the movie the first time I saw it was
actually whenever it was playing on TV like on a Saturday afternoon randomly
and so it’s like the edited one what’s it called where they were in the
Alonzo the freezer whatever yeah dude he’s in town with a few days to
kill this Thanksgiving Want some candy Want some candy Whenever he’s Yeah
No Yeah There’s stuff like whenever he’s learning how to mimic voices I’m like that’s actually what Sila by that’s what
babies that sounds like what Sila’s doing which makes sounds He’s trying to get better actually
Sense Yeah They do They do things like that Trying to learn their environment make noises Yeah And so another another
one that I’ll share with you guys if I go this we did that one Total recall I’ll have to show that one So I’ll
probably do that in Tremors and then maybe Cadillac Man because I actually watched that one too So let’s see Oh
we’ll do Yeah I guess we do Total Recall because we have to
Dude did you know about the mask from this movie that he wore The one that like gave people [ __ ] trauma as a kid
The one the the fat lady the the big like lady that like the an the thing
that like separated Yeah Where it like came over that thing weighed like that
thing weighed like like 150 or 200 lb or something That’s crazy That that they
had on him Yeah Yeah Like apparently it was too big for him to like I think move around in or whatever And they literally
had to like make some kind of like rig that held it and opened and like did its
thing so it could like it was some enormous like practical effects of the day But it’s crazy because it was so it
was so good Yeah So but it it makes sense cuz you see it and you’re like “Oh that does look like all metal and steel
since the and some people might get hurt in the process.” Deont Wilder lost a
fight or tried to blame it My boy ended up doing Starship Troopers and everything He he directed this lovely
movie
Your mind it is the center of your
life It is everything you hear everything you see This a good
trailer Everything you feel I agree
It is everything you are How would you
know if someone stole your mind
Arrest that woman
Yeah It’s funny cuz you could totally tell by the way his arms were when he took it off Oh yeah Ready for a surprise
We can’t let him run around He knows too much That wasn’t the part that freaked me out
His face starts doing all like the gravity or whatever depressurization And
I think they had a there’s an NES game even like where the scene with the X-ray machine and stuff like it’s actually in
the game too Yeah that right there was weird too That was scary That was the part you’re talking about where it’s cuz
he’s pulling it through his face too That pulling that thing out his nose Welcome to Mars Did you guys see the
Colin Ferrell Yeah Look who’s talking It was terrible
It just for me it’s like Yeah taking an an R movie to death for me I remember that scene Just better R And you know
who don’t remember that scene If I’m not me who the hell am I Wish had three
hands or what Welcome to Johnny Where can I take you
tonight Damn that’s what I’m [ __ ]
Damn that street sweeper delivered alive That that blew my mind That scene blew my mind when that dude bust out with
that cricket arm You wouldn’t hurt after all And it’s
based on you know I think it’s Philip K Digbook but either way like Hollywood making our sci-fi like this at that time
It’s just like man I can’t even really think of actually super fascinating like sci-fi
with a big actor They’re probably awesome and they put them on stream It was just a different era Just a
different era man I miss that Well and the things that like you had to do to get like our ratings back then like was
that’s what uh I heard some stand up comic talking about like uh Jaws being
like a PG movie and stuff like that Yeah You think about when it came out there weren’t even PG-13 with that one It was
like GPG and R Yeah Well and so like but that’s the thing too where it was like
you think about like R-rated sci-fi and stuff like that where it was like I guess the point being that like they
could get a lot of get away with a lot of [ __ ] in a PG-13 movie back then And
so for it to be R was like yo they were doing some like off-the-wall type [ __ ]
What’s a pirate’s favorite word
R No here’s one I’m going to show No it be the C
Uh no letter I watched this TB cuz of TB You know what I mean I was like look at
N It’s available on Tuby So here you go This movie Cadillac Man
Watch the uh I just watched it this week Yeah I remember seeing like Tub Tub Flip
Yeah Cadillac Man Robin Williams 1990 It’s one of his uh probably not super
popular ones but I just watched it with a couple days ago It was good He’s going to make a note He’s going to make a note
You just saw it Oh add this to your light No he’s got a hash mark in here for every time you watch a movie on Tuby
As you should
Oh they’re doing my accent I was thinking right now You’re probably thinking “Hey this is not the car for me.” With a touch of one button max head
I’m talking Max Headroom Yeah Emotional Can you afford that Want to make it happen Huh This emotional thing you want
and he loves And what year did that happen That was it was prior to that right You
got to go out there You got to take probably Yeah Cuz I think it was 80 from underneath But I believe you were asleep
Do you remember why Now he has a little explain Huh Very bad
They’re uh nothing to lose Her too and my wife and his wife How the hell you
got time to make a living What’s he talking to Joey is this true Come on Lisa Lisa it’s [ __ ] What’s her name
Lorie Petty She’s always got short hair and stuff Yeah Tom Petty’s kid That’s her That’s Tom Petty’s kid I didn’t
Lorie Petty I’m pretty sure that this her name’s Lorie Petty I just assumed it was Tom Petty’s kid It might not be but
she’s got the same last name which she always kind of struck me as I could see her being
Yeah she definitely same eyes Robin Williams Tim Robbins You got a lot of
girls It’s easy for you Cadillac man I really enjoyed it It’s
just awesome An interesting short contain like the whole thing It’s again
it just makes like man this is just a interesting fun movie with Robin Williams It’s rated R you know So just
the dialogue but it was cool I like that Yeah I’m a Cadillac man
All right Oh it’s good Never saw that movie Nobody Mhm What It’s worth checking out No I know it is It’s like
it’s one that I’ve wanted to see but I haven’t You haven’t seen it I haven’t watched it all the way Oh man I don’t
even know All right thing you we need to go cuz Chris has to go watch a movie
Yeah I thought he watched movies All right I used to He might not He might
not Yeah Ever since they remade his favorite movie Snow White he’s like you know [ __ ] this Hey you don’t like the
Ziggler take on it Did you guys hear that that that Disney pulled her like
completely from all of She was like scheduled to do she was scheduled to do like late night shows and like all the
late night in SNL can’t spend they can’t spend any more promotion or more money on her Well and it’s not just that they
that it bombed It’s like she’s been like per like inadvertently I don’t think she’s aware that like I don’t think
she’s aware that she No I don’t think that she is aware that she is um that
she has been tanking the the thing by talking about it the way she has by like [ __ ] on her political opinion You
want to hear the you want to hear the hot take that nobody’s talking about about the movie They’re throwing that dumb girl under the bus for saying dumb
[ __ ] right She got paid $5 million to make that movie [ __ ] Galadot got paid
$15 million That’s where the movie went wrong All the money went to Galadot Nobody’s talking about that It was a
piece of [ __ ] from the beginning Yeah the movie The movie probably sucks regardless Like I’m not saying the movie
would have been great But it’s like her Yeah her going out there and espousing
her political opinion at every turn like ended up like really it’s just bad for
the marketing campaign Yeah It was like it did a lot of like harm to the you
know Yeah like to the film and it it’s like and there’s a lot of people that are like out on it that are out on it
just because Well no that’s the thing He was like “Bro she’s been doing this for like how long have they been trying to
out?” Yeah It’s like it’s been like two years and she’s been at like press junkets and stuff like that like
[ __ ] on the original and you know all kinds of stuff and you know and then it’s like and then now it’s like
crashing and she’s out there doubling down on that like I’m saying I I don’t
think it has the most to do with it though Like my kids are not begging me to go see that movie I doubt it has
anything to do with her political opinions No I No I’m saying the reason she I think the the reason she’s been
pulled from all of her interviews that have been lined up I think have been due to her the what she’s been saying
because it’s [ __ ] on the original story and that’s Disney’s intellectual property She’s crapping on the original
story Disney’s intellectual property and she’s being like the original story is just really like divided She called it
creepy She called it Yeah She’s like “It’s really Let Mikey Let Mikey say what she’s saying guys.” Yeah She was
just saying that Yeah that it’s like saying that the movie the the original story that everybody’s known to come
that that everyone has come to know and love is not necessarily it’s it’s not a
good story and that it’s bad and you shouldn’t like it and here’s why and all this And it’s like in my opinion had she
been saying all this back in 2016 nobody would have batted an eyelash She probably would have gotten pressed
forward hey everything’s cool But now stuff is like a little different and she’s just sitting out here That was my
point is that she’s pretty much just trashing the intellectual property and that’s why they’ve pulled her from it
regardless of the I think the movie probably wouldn’t have they Disney hasn’t I don’t think put out a good movie in how long
I mean I guess Jeeoff I mean I mean that’s conversation I think they’ve made some I don’t see them all but
I’m reproduction Disney makes so much sense A reproduction That’s what I meant I I should be specific I should be
specific A reproduction Yeah What’s been their last really good reproduction of the original I I don’t The Lion King
stuff the John Favro Jungle Book been good Yeah the Jungle Book was good Arguably
Aladdin wasn’t bad but like everyone hated the Will Smith [ __ ] which I didn’t love compared to the original but like
really cool direct like the Aladdin part Yeah like a like a lot of fun Um
but yeah like the Lion King I didn’t hate either but a lot of people also didn’t like that one too Yeah I have
hope for the Lilo and Stitch That’ll be their make or break for the live action ones But like Beauty and the Beast I watched that with my kids That one
wasn’t the worst thing ever Again I think a lot of it is like being in like an age to where
I’ve noticed I know I didn’t have any care to care about I didn’t even this stuff you know but now having a daughter it’s like reasoning Okay To actually
watch some of the recent stuff some more I think I think it’s more for the adults who grew up with the cartoons Yeah To wa
to like have an excuse to watch that kind of [ __ ] again You know what I mean Yeah Cuz they’re the ones who are going
to go take it And you guys are right If I’m an adult and I want to go watch like of like something they recreated from my
childhood I’m not going to go see it if it’s buried in political [ __ ] I just want to go enjoy it Yeah I think they
put out some dec I’m going to get us back to 1990 just so I could uh Oh yeah
get through this movie stuff Yeah Yeah Cuz this is uh Yeah So this is for me
this is like the film class movie you know the 19 you know the movie that uh you know just want to pick and talk
about and I think it’s it’s it’s an independent movie right So a lot of people don’t even know about I didn’t
know much about it till like I was just researching 1990 movies right But I I
was familiar with the director who’s done some independent stuff But so this movie is called Trust And yeah I don’t
know It’s just an independent film from 1990 like I said but it’s the same kind of a conversation with people like
Richard Link ladder and I think Jim German directors and independent peop
filmmakers from like that era He’s kind of part of like that you know style or just voice or collection of directors
that came out Uh and honestly I didn’t even know that much about him until fairly recently even when I watched a
few movies But yeah I’ll just show the trailer
here Family’s like a gun You point it in the wrong
direction you’re going to kill somebody
Do you miss your kids Sure Do you hate your husband Absolutely
Would you ever get married again Of course The family’s got to stick together come
hell or high water Carry this with me at all times Hand grenade just in case Are
you emotionally disturbed Maria if you come home right now mom is going to stab you in the heart with a
steak knife Okay Did you eat anything today No Sit down I’ll fix you something Tell me
what you said You heard what I said Tell me what you said coward Come on [ __ ] weird Your husband died of a heart
attack No one dies of a heart attack They die of disgust You’re not the first woman in the world who’s had a hard time
I think it’s kind of warm for this time of year don’t you think Damage to the ozone What is that Where the hell you
been the last 10 years Married I like him the way he is How is he He
was busted anyway Dangerous but sincere Sincerely dangerous See this pin
Pull that Wait 8 seconds And
do you know what the word empirical means Don’t ask him He thinks TV gives you cancer
You can’t know something unless you experience it first
Do you trust me Do you trust me first
Yeah honestly it’s a time this like masterpiece of the you know
representation and yeah I could go deeper It’s funny that you that he had the I have the hand grenade in the
beginning I have this like hand grenade that’s like fake when I found um it’s
like you know you back in the day you could find them in army navy stores where they drill them out or whatever Yeah Yeah And they’re like old
decommissioned hand grenades But there was one I found when I was working one
time in somebody’s flower bed and I thought about like doing something with it like artistically And it’s funny that
like I just had that thought today Yes And I just had a thought about it today
and then I see it in this trailer There you go And then I see this trailer and
he has it So it’s just synchronicity It’s funny like Yeah No it’s cool It’s part of like like it says independent
film and it’s an obvious motif like they this director could have had any number
of devices that he chose to like represent an explosive person He could go out there could have been a gun or
something crazy but he’s a good person It was just a mechanism for him to like
if anything have people listen to him like just like oh he’s got a hand grenade if he’s talking actually listen
to him because he wasn’t crazy or anything and it was just like sent me carried around for the reason of being like so it was really like it’s a very
intelligent dead pan uh but feelood movie like it really is I want to watch
it because it was funny last night I brought up like watching a movie you can tell by the music how like it’s actually
an uplifting journey and it’s really an exquisite unique film like I can’t stress enough like this is a movie and
you can watch it with young people like it’s a the end of it is like a positive uplifting feeling about just kind of a
philosophical take on society and the world but not in a bad way And just the way it presents these characters it’s
really such a good movie Okay And it’s crazy as Tony I didn’t know about this but that the actress right that young
girl that you saw featured there was it 2006 she was actually murdered
She was living in New York and uh she was at some hotel but there’s some mic
immigrant worker who worked there It’s like some hotel or something she was at that like basically like I don’t know if
she got off an elevator or something but he followed her to a room and there’s a lot of information like news reports
about it like I didn’t know about but she straight up like murdered 2006 or seven Where at In New York Was she the
one that they found in the in the fixing No like he set it up to her make it look
like she hung herself but they didn’t That was LA Okay Okay Yeah that’s what I was saying But this like young kid like
you know he tried but they caught them and like he confessed to like the scenario behind it and everything It’s
just like man this is a really tragic terrible thing But it happened to this this and she was like you know she had a
at that point I think a family and she was like active in the arts and things and the movie Waitress that Krie Russell was in I don’t know if she like wrote
the screenplay for it or something Yeah Yeah It’s from like 2006 or seven or whatever So yeah it’s like it was crazy
and this is one of the thing I was aware of but yeah this this was like the movie that you know started her any kind of
film and I don’t know it was just crazy learning was like damn No it’s pretty cool Yeah No that’s interesting Yeah
Jeff you got any you you still going What else you got Is that No that’s it for 1990 I mean Jeff you have any movies
have have you that come to mind Did you look any up between now and the time we start talking about it No No I didn’t
think so I just leave you out Yeah Cool No I mean didn’t you guys used to like go down a list We can we can hit a list
real quick No I mean things evolve if you want to I’m sure I’m sure there’s something I’ll go through here I’m sure
there’s things Chris has Oh no There’s a ton talk about Yeah there’s a ton of movies I’m picking up what you’re putting down Um I’ll just go through
real quick I was one years old I had my taste was [ __ ] at that time to be honest
Yeah Arachnophobia came out Literally I love that movie Arachnophobia came out
1990 Story about that movie actually Yeah Um pardon Saw that movie in the
theaters and like Yeah the synchronicity [ __ ] where it was like I was watching
the it trailer and I think about like how many of my friends that are my age that are like terrified of clowns
and I always thought that was the stupidest [ __ ] thing ever cuz it’s like I don’t it’s [ __ ] clown like oh
god it’s it’s [ __ ] scary like do they bleed like okay um but uh the spiders
like that’s something I run out saying yeah I’m with you it’s
though Um our mom took us to the movie theater and I think it
was like was it in n this year Was there a Yogi Bear movie that came out in 90
Could you pull up and see if there was a Yogi Bear movie that came out in 90 I think is what it was Um who normally
does that Joe Rogan’s guy helps us out with looking at the if Jamie could pull it up But either way point being my mom
thought she was taking us to see Yogi Bear and uh we walked into the wrong theater and like when the intro started
playing or whatever it was like she was like “Yeah this seems like a weird intro like to a cartoon movie.” Cuz it was
just a shot of like a thing going over a river It was like a live action shot And
she was like “This seems weird.” And it wasn’t until we were like five or 10 minutes into the movie that she realized oh this isn’t that movie phobia And I I
think we just ended up watching it Yeah But yeah I think there was it’s showing something but either way she thought she
was taking us to a kids movie that came out that same year I think it was Yogi Bear that year We’ll have to call Gina
and get her to explain as a parent like because it’s feed 13 so it’s kind but it’s scary but actually has a sense of
humor like in it It’s a really unique movie but it was kind of as a parent she’s like “Well well I guess we’ll
stick it out.” Well I’d actually seen it uh prior to that because I think uh the
second Die Hard movie came out in Yeah it did came out this year Y because we went to a driving movie We Yeah No that
was a [ __ ] airplane That was one of the That’s one that I’ve always said where it was like at least the first two
sequels like were as good as the original Like if out of Die Hard one two and three it’s like if any of them
didn’t live up to the first one it would be the second one But probably but it’s still But either way we went to the Yeah
we went to the drive-in theater actually And my parents were watching Die Hard
and so it was like you’d buy the you’d get the radio thing And so they were sitting in the front of the Suburban
watching Die Hard but we were on the bed of the Suburban with it down and you know they had all the other movies going
on And so we were actually watching Arachnophobia on That’s awesome that [ __ ] like giant screen That’s awesome
That’s cool There any other movies doing Yeah So right there’s a Days of Thunder also came out Pretty Tom Cruz Nicole
Kibbon That’s where they met each other Yeah that’s a great one Renie Harland is
full of Robert Deval quotes like Robins racism That’s some synchronicity because last week we just discussed how
Yeah Yeah It is interesting Yeah I mean what’s the dude been meeting on that one
Mhm What’s the dude um who plays Cal Nton Jr in town John C
Riley Yes He’s in that movie as a pit crew guy Yes That was one of his early
like starts or whatnot and it tied into Yeah it’s funny No Days of Thunder is great The scene where they get where he
fakes where Robert Duval lines up him getting fake pulled over and it was the stripper that was of Cole Trickle Yeah
that was awesome dude Randy Quinn is also in that movie Yes Great
Pretty Woman Home Alone Yeah Home Alone The classic David Lynch’s Wild at Heart
Yeah Which that Yeah With David Lynch It deserves so much I if I could go on for
a long time It’s like tempering But yes you must see you must see that movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Yes What
The first one The first one Wow in 90 I think No Shredder Yeah this one was
Shredder Secret of the ooze No Secret of the ooze was the second I thought the first one came out in ‘ 89 That’s what I
think The first one was in the 80s That must be the second one That must be Secret of the No Secret of the Oz was
like 92 Well either way like the first one I could either way it is you know
that’s what it says Yeah No it’s just it Yeah it’s just funny because him saying that him saying that either way he was
like I was thinking No that was one I didn’t see that until later I saw I saw Secret of the Use
first I wouldn’t allow to watch Ninja Turtles until later Misery came out that year That was a good one Godfather
iconic iconic scene Godfather 3 came out also The Hunt for Red October that came
out this year Yeah it was a bunch bunch of good movies It was No there’s a tremor tremor dude No that was on my
list of ones to show I would have shown it but I just didn’t for I Dude I grew
up my mom loved it Dude the scene whenever they’re in the basement and like its head’s stuck there and those
hunters are like shooting it Michael Crow and Reba McIntyre’s in it They’re the married couple hunters and he’s got
all he’s like a global hunter and he’s going through his weapon cache of like cuz he would go on safaris and this is
where I even learned what an elephant gun was like he had some case with an elephant gun and like he’s able to shoot
it and kill it there and I was just like that scene is so cool Yeah dude No
another great movie um Die Hard 2 came out this year No no I don’t think so Um
that was a good one I’m Yeah Uh this one this one was one that I
actually had on my list but I didn’t you know I just cut it short Young Guns 2 Um
Milo Estz or something is the Yeah it’s got name in it too Keeper Kefir
Sutherland Basically expendables for like young cats at that time but it was
a stylized western Yeah Diamond Phillips Jake loves
the Young Gun movies I never like I never really got into them I was never really a big fan of them but yeah my
buddy Jake is like they’re they’re his like I think that might actually be Jake’s favorite movie I need to go back
and actually watch him Child’s Play Two Child’s Play Two came out Well you know okay the Regulator the song Regulators
the audio from the very beginning of it was from original Young Guns where it was like “But you can’t be no you can’t
be no geek off the street Yeah Yeah Got to be handy with the steel or whatever
The intro that’s actually from the movie Young Guns There you go Like pretty cool
So the intro to regulators like the Yeah The dialogue at the beginning of the scene Yeah Warren G House Party Kid and
play Kid and play Men at work Men work was actually Charlie Sheen That one’s
Charlie Sheen You know the rest of his right The garbage Yeah There’s Oh there’s a scene under so funny Yeah this
is actually one I think I might be wrong If I am I was going to say I thought this is one that Jeff and I have talked
about us liking That’s one that’s not necessarily
uh liked by the majority of people and I could be wrong I love these kind of
movies Oh is is talking about No if you just put the phone that thinking cameras
you know clipping things it’ll be diff Yeah Yeah Uh the it was what’s it called
Uh Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 but I thought it was the one with Oh that was the one with I thought it was the one
with Matthew McConna Yeah the one that y’all watched out at your mom’s place No this one has VGO Morton Yeah I never
watched any My sister probably did I actually would sit there and watch it Is the sequel to the one with me on it I
think so Something like that It was one of the later ones No because you did watch it because he was like that was
the one where Yeah He would know better than I would if I watched it or something Weird Yeah Yeah It was like some like weird [ __ ] but it was Matthew
McConna played it tow truck driver And I remember you telling me about it It’s pretty crazy like it I like it Mhm Yeah
But it wasn’t that one It wasn’t from 1990 So that’s the year of 1990 That was a lot of good stuff came out there No
dude So many great stuff So many good movies Powerful year And it it almost I
wanted to just at some point do transitional years like 1990 1980
whatever like or 2000 movie just years that happen to be on the cusp of you know a decade ending Yeah And it just
just looking at movies from each of those decades I don’t know It’s interesting to me just to think about
just as human this the transition of society and culture and just like okay this because people think of things in
decades you know we naturally think the 80s the ‘9s this is how things were because we don’t just think of existence
you know it’s a long thing but just picking those movies as like little timestamps to look at the transition
because it’s interesting in 1990 because like you’ll see things and you’ll think oh you think of the the 80s the way you
think of the 80s because it’s like on that transitional year so it was just interesting you Well it’s like I think a
good example of it was the Quigly Down Under trailer where it was like as soon as you cuz Yeah Yeah That I don’t know
if it was kind of a mind [ __ ] for Mikey but it was like as soon as I heard like the way they were announcing the trailer
for that movie it was like no this this looks like a uh what was that Lightning
Jack He was like they made it like the trailer made it kind of seem like night lightning jack But I think that goes to
the like the changing over of you know because it was a very 19 people sit
there and make it like oh it’s but it’s cool but it is it was like you don’t have to go much deeper but it’s just
like changes over Yeah No it’s a good point where you can see that it’s like it’s just something that’s like you know
like all the trailers not only had that voice but it was like you know there was different tones that that that guy would
take you know old world you know versus like oh you know I was going to say too
I thought something I thought was interesting I heard like uh Quinton Tarantino say in in an
interview or whatever and I know he’s a controversial dude and all this or whatnot but like I do kind of have to
agree with him I think I have to agree with him on this point that like he when
because people were talking to him about like film and stuff and he how he was
saying like how he feels as though like using actual film is important versus
digital and [ __ ] like that And I do kind of think he’s right I think that if you
cuz if you go back and watch movies that were all shot on film versus shot digitally or whatever I think there’s a
whole effect that isn’t that’s lost Something you’re seeing Yeah It’s a unique thing I I agree Even if the even
if like technically it’s like well digital you can get [ __ ] to look sharper and better It’s like I think it looks
fake at that point It starts looking artificial or not real Yeah I know it’s an aesthetic and a feel to like the me
everything the the delivery of the product that well it’s like I completely agree one of
those things we had talked about in one of the earlier episodes about like was it like practical effects versus like
special effects or whatever or like computerized Yeah You know and it’s like
Yeah No there is definitely something about you know it’s like even like modern movies and stuff that they’ll go
out of their way to shoot you know on an old platform or something like that It
really does like even if you don’t know it was like you like watch it and you’re
like “Yo there’s something different about this or you know it was like even
even to the uninitiated they would watch it and they would be like I really liked that movie.” And it’s like but you
couldn’t say why It was like when I would you know bring up to Jason like
why I like a song He’d be like “Oh this song.” He was like “Oh well the reason
the reason that you like it is because the chord progression and this and that.” And then it you know and it’s
like “Oh okay I thought I just [ __ ] liked it you know?” But it’s like but it
is one of those things that you know you talk about like shooting on film and you know practical effects and things like
that that to the uninitiated it’s like oh I didn’t realize that’s the reason I
liked it Did I Yeah It’s almost like a predisposition understanding to knowing
why like the you know the science behind why unconscious it’s like an unconscious bias or something that you know you have
that it’s like I agree But so Mikey lead us on lead us on Well do we want to do
we want to take a quick little Yeah We’ll take a little break and then Yeah We’ll get back to needs to go outside I
think Yeah And we’re back We’re now we’re now joined We’re now joined by a guest Uh
Sierra if I’m not mistaken that way or you can look hanging out with us The the the the thing’s right there But yeah if
you want to look at what’s your name Yeah What’s your name Sierra Sierra with a S A C A C See I knew that I had a
feeling I was like I was like can I gaslight her immediately A C or S All right cool So do you want to tell us
like as much or or as little about yourself as you like just before we kind of keep going here Um see I’ve never
been good at like answering that question because like I need questions to go off of versus just you know
picking random places Um Dallas Dallas Do you like Dallas or do you not like
Dallas I love Dallas I don’t want to live anywhere I love hearing that I love hearing that We love that We love that
Growing up I always heard people that be like I hate Dallas someone to get out of Dallas and all this and I’m like dude
have you been places they grow up but I love people embrace it so it’s a beautiful embracing like where you’re
from you know yeah see you know like people are like oh like where do you want to live you know eventually I’m like here like I could never imagine
myself living anywhere else like this is home I couldn’t go anywhere else yeah exactly that’s what I’m talking about
Stephanie talk about moving bases I’m like this is I’ll visit there but this is where I want to like plant and raise
my family and all that yeah to me I’ I think I’ve just gotten so used to the uh the cadence of everybody’s behavior Hey
Hey Bear’s bearing down
Oh there’s some good humping going on over there a second ago Let’s hold on We’re going to get this pug But yeah I
mean I like always tell my friends like I think that I’m so blessed to have been born in the best city in the best state
Like there you go Okay now we’re now we’re now we’re flexing I love it Hell yeah I love it
Yeah Yeah Exactly Went from being like “Yeah no I like living here.” to being like “Fuck everywhere else in Dallas.”
So you’re uh So how do you know these two How what’s the So Stephanie is my
cousin and then he’s my cousin’s husband Stephanie Oh He is her husband That is
right Wow When Wait so I married her That’s And I’m their marriage counselor
I’m just kidding They don’t have enough need to get a new one I’m
joking Be saying Uh no So uh all right So we’re
also we’re playing cards against humanity for anybody that’s listening And technically the person who pooped last goes first to be the questionner
slash uh ortor or ortor of the person who thinks what’s funny So Stephanie is
the person who pooped last and so she is going to be reading the prompt question which for that time we’ll have her read
what the prompt question is which say into the mic what’s the what’s there a ton of in heaven
Okay And now at this point we will all everybody who has a card What’s there a ton of in heaven Okay Well h all right
You know what a bear Oh my gosh But there bear Well I mean there’s you could
go down a deep thing about animals in heaven but we won’t get into that right now What was the question
A ton of things that’ll be in heaven All right Here’s I have everybody just give me if whenever you have your answer
Chris you give it to me and I’ll put it up here I have mine Everybody answers Answers
So you say you’re from Dallas What do you What do you do for a living What do you or what have you done for a living Do you have any interests What are your
what do you do You know that’s a good question
So basically like all of the jobs that I’ve had like in high school and past high school have been like serving jobs
Okay And I recently got into bartending Actually I got a license and I’ve been learning how to bartend Um and besides
that I go to college Um I go to I’m studying uh forensic biochemistry
Hell yeah [ __ ] yeah Go But wasn’t that the thing Yeah the Eagle Claw The claw
Okay Something like that It’s been six years I think I remember things better because I happened to Yeah I went there
So it’s awesome Yeah He’s just going there So yeah No So as you
um you left us earlier or as before before we left abruptly abruptly you
were the last pooper You were the poopy So there’s your where’s your other card That’s
right And now we go ahead and and read the prompt card and then go ahead and read your answers and then we’ll get
back into this interview Okay What’s there a ton of in heaven Black
people Black Jesus Oh my goodness guys Clean drinking water
Yeah Well that I would hope I would hope sniffing and kissing my feet Okay
Sniffing and kissing Okay What’s your Okay I’m going to go with Black Jesus That’s mine Black Jesus Look at this
Listen Listen Every single time I have ever played Cards Against Humanity I’ve won Every single time And I don’t plan
on losing my streak tonight So I’m not taking it easy on you Okay Well then everybody in the room has heard your
statement And now I feel like I feel like everybody played a safe hand because you’re like you know you’re on a
podcast You don’t want to be offensive Who knows But who knows But we’re going to go ahead and deal everybody back out
a card here Um and then oh yeah you haven’t used one So then that’ll be
Chris’s This will be mine And then since you won I I believe you are now the
reader Um and you know what I’m thinking is as far as like this randomly being thing We
don’t have to it’s not whose turn it is It’s more like we’re collectively doing this So you saw me doing that one You be
like “Okay from that angle you can finish it and put it there and it’s just a living thing So if you want to I started that pulling that block out.” No
I’m just asking you right now Get it Yeah Just like get it out without knocking it over Yeah that’s what that
was No I’m just like it’s just thinking like we’re it’s doing it together So now
you have everybody has a prompt card So before before we walked away you were
saying you you go to you’re enjoying the school out there at
Um yeah Uh any is it fun Is it a fun environment Like Matthew went there back
in the day and he’s told back in the day I remember that [ __ ] back in the day the
10 2010 something like that 03 to 09 Yeah 03 to09 Okay So so Matthew was
there in 03 to09 and I always remember the talk between all of his friends Chris included of you know Denton and it
was it all sounded like wild times and fun times and great times Is it still wild fun great times Has that been your
experience Um yeah So I like one thing I did like about it was that there’s like
so many different like clubs and like communities and they have so many events So it’s like if you have no homework and
you’re bored there’s literally something for you to do like any day And also um I
was able to get into some really cool frat parties because uh my cousin is in a really big sorority over there So
shout out to Charlotte Shout out to um I think it’s called Zeta Zeta Yeah Yeah
Zeta Something like that But yeah so she got me into a lot of really cool parties That’s cool Are you in one a sorority or
anything Okay cool No it’s too much work Yeah Right No I know Shout out to all the people though It’s like I remember
that’s that was always the thing though I feel like that’s how you played it smart is like you didn’t necessarily join and pay for it You just you went
and you enjoyed other people you know It’s like you go to all of them cuz I remember I went and visited a friends
with people and have fun at other parties Well yeah I was going to say I went and visited a buddy of mine that was a part of a fraternity at a at a
college and I remember like it I was just kind of being like you know it was fun I I enjoy myself but I was like man
like I’d be like what’s that That looks that [ __ ] looks jumping Let’s go over here And he’s like oh no we can’t [ __ ]
those guys I’m like those guys look tribal They’re like limiting their fun
So that’s cool I’ll just be friends with all I have fun with each of them And you just live in your little world We hate each other Yeah And it’s like I know
Chris and them They [ __ ] They used to go to all Didn’t y’all used to just pull up at frat parties in Waco Oh that was at
Baylor Yeah after the bars closed and stuff we would just go crash bay parties like Yeah Just like Yeah Yeah But you
couldn’t do that Yeah You couldn’t necessarily do that without blowing the spot up if you were a part of one of the
other frats So that’s cool Like Yeah I’ve never uh spot
that was like Yeah that was their objective was a bit different Yeah
they’re Yeah No I know there were some rebel rousers and then once they were
like “Hey does anybody know these [ __ ] guys?” Anybody know these How’d the kid get voted already
All the beer Yeah Create a scene and Yeah in the mayhem Um okay So that’s
funny So you said you’re What do you You say you just became a bartender Do you work as a bartender out there in No in
North Dallas North Dallas Okay But I’m not working right now because I just had a surgery So that’s fine Well okay Well
hope hope a speedy recovery Hope you’re doing good Uh we hope you make it through Take your time Like wait it
already happened What Making it through Well you look great now We’re praying it goes well
Yeah exactly Yeah Condolences We’ll let We’ll be
Yeah Did you have that prompt You want to read that prompt card Did you have your card Yeah So this prompt says “I’m
no doctor but I’m pretty sure what you’re suffering from is called blank.”
Mhm And I think everybody needs an extra card Matt how many cards do you have Do you have 10 No you passed out Did I Yeah
we’re good Okay we’re good Let me see the prompt again
And who’s the who’s the officiator here Who’s going to be determining the points I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure what
you’re suffering from is called blank Okay Sorry I had to read that again and
I read it out loud It’s like trying to think what she’s going to enjoy the most Right Let me see
Um so we got a blind Who do I give mine to And they can like mix them up and all
that shizzle Well here actually I’m going to stick mine upside down behind her right here
No here Give it give it to me and I curate them all and I shuffle them Okay so you’re the curator Yeah I’m the card
curator I’m the card man Speaking of card curator it made me think of something called the pricemaster Are you
familiar with the Pricem being a Dentonite No Okay Well the the Pricem
was something that we actually talked about here uh not all that long ago and
uh it was a Denton like legend from back in the day
Uh it was a Denton legend from back in the day and it was something that I remember and I knew about but Matthew
didn’t necessarily he wasn’t quite aware of and I went there and lived there was interesting Yeah He lived there and it
was like it’s funny It’s like so you it ended up it’s got like 1 point something
million views on YouTube but the guy did this as like a social experiment twoinut
thing He pulled it up So at some point we could well I go [ __ ] it Go ahead and show it to her Now here’s a two-minute little clip here Yeah So you can see
what the price master was He’s a local legend
When was this video filmed Like 200 something Like early 2000s Yeah Okay It
looks like the house is still there and looks very much the same
So this guy held a held a garage sale where everything was for sale here
Wait Oh so everything was for sale but nothing
was for sale So he would just charge people would be like “How much for this?” and he’d be like $100,000 and if
he got to buy that like Yeah It got up to it be like
$500,000 like ridiculous going Yeah And it just got it just got absurd but it
was it was a local legend So either way I figured you know you’re out there you’re actively going Um we could tell
you later that actually I’m going to go to a garage sale in Denton and see if I can find him A unfortunately
the the price master has passed away Yeah he’s moved on to Well he’s making deals in the after I’m laughing because
it’s funny I’m not laughing No no I agree But you’re just like laughing at like damn Well I missed out That was a
poor Yeah right A lot of us missed out He’s making deals Any chance I get to bring the Pricem or Mo Man to somebody’s
life I’d love to So here are your cards from the question you asked us And if
you want I promise you she has no idea about Moth Man but you can get into that later The Moth Man do you Um so I
actually used to watch this show with my grandfather called um was it Mountain
Men Like they would go hunting for like the Moth Man and other things like that So I actually did watch an episode
Yeah keep going I’m sorry I was wrong I know His reputation precedes it Matthew she’s very culture She’s smart girls
Most girls wouldn’t know She’s an outlier She’s an outlier People are familiar with Richard Very informed on
urban legends except for that Pricem guy That’s the one I did Well now hold on I don’t know if he’s He’s He’s a real
thing He’s not an urban legend Mikey there’s a question I swear it said something about urban legend on
like the YouTube video I think Oh yeah They’ll pin it and they’ll sell it however Hey buddy Okay so Hey Hey Some
Hey what you Oh oops Is he making love Do you know That’s cool What a nice little dog Oh
he’s uh he’s got a little Mississippi leg hound in him apparently So bad He’s embarrassing me He does not act like
this at home The one time I bring When’s the last time he’s been on a podcast Cuz I expected him to be better Hey for
those of y’all who can’t see this is this dog looks like a little smoky sausage but he is a he like he’s a big
strong handsome boy and he’s got some he’s powerful man He grabbed my leg I’m saying people teach the dogs how to be
house trained and stuff Go ahead and teach them podcast training It hurt It helps Every dog Every dog I’ll do better
No No You’re perfect This dog This dog’s hilarious I’m What do we got here Um so
you had you have the prompt question If you’d like to read the prompt question and see who the funniest person knows how this works She’s like “All right
Mikey I know how this works.” All right So I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure what you’re suffering from is called
penis breath Oh I’ve heard of that Shout out to ET That
was uh the first time I ever heard that insult is when uh the movie ET when
they’re sitting around Yeah Okay So
I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure what you’re suffering from is called swamp ass
Yeah that’ll get you spent the summer time out there walking around a lot
I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure what you’re suffering from is called my horny horny son Oh whoa Well suffering Is that
that word Suffering I don’t know Depending For some people that enjoy that’d be pleasure That’d be enjoy It’s
all depends on his behavior I’m not But some people
keep going All right So the final one I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure what you’re suffering from is called the only
gay person in a 100 miles He’s humping her again Um the only He’s right Yep He
looks guilty He’s like “Damn.” He’s like “Damn I did humper.” So honestly I want
to say whoever had the penis breath one I mean I feel like pain
That’s That’s enjoyable You know that’s nice Nice to win one every now and then Everybody’s got there’s a mouth So there
must be breath Yeah So now everybody has there’s a head and a mouth There has to be breath All right So with that being
said that’s Keep going I’m coming for our guest title and her crown since she said
she’s you know the queen Keep it clean buddy Curate of this game I’m going to what’s it called You know I have to Oh
good No that’s not that’s ridicul This is blank plus blank equals
That’s a lot That’s a multi I tell you what I think this this game is slanted towards the style of humor I don’t even
understand it But what’s next Um I agree I agree very much with that
Uh if you like blank you might be a redneck Oh here we go Okay that’s a fun
one I like the you might be a redneck jokes Those are ones that the blue collar comedy tour got by with those for
a long time Oh no They made livelihoods on It’s fine if they made you laugh
Everybody hated the fact that like they found out Larry the Cable guy was like a gay is an act Yeah Yeah And it’s like
why Yeah Did you laugh It’s cuz you believe the lie It’s almost like Have you watched professional wrestling Oh
wait I’m going to tell you they’re that’s fake too That’s like Duck Dynasty Wait People being like all the guys they
technically they didn’t have beards and all that before They were just regular dudes and then they grew them out and
everybody loved them So that’s like us We don’t like each other but this is show business It’s show business baby
Yeah I agree Wait so what was the qu I’ve lost Uh uh the question was uh No that was that’s the one I won Sorry I
was reading my victory card Stop pumping Like it’s over I hate you Wait that’s If you If you like blank you might be a
redneck There we go There we go There we go Uh on the card Is this somebody’s answer card right here Yeah Two answer
cards I feel like I got shuffle these up Yes
Yeah Somebody else must be the maestro of shuffling Yeah
And I’m actually allergic to cards I shouldn’t be touching Shuffle those And then I think I need one more card I have nine We’re supposed to have 10 right Why
are you sitting like that I think you’re supposed to like uh between 20 and 30 No we have 10 Yeah
Yeah 10 That’s why I was saying I need to get another one Thank you This is how she cheats Just let you know that I
don’t know her I’m joking I’m joking She ran into
that She okay Yeah she Oh my god What did she run into I I I was trying to get
her off of there cuz she was about to stir something up and she bonked her little They got They got heads built for this I’m sorry Lily They do They’re so
strong Look at her Her cranium is like a And now her boyfriend’s coming to check on her He’s like “Hey love my girl.”
It’s okay Lily Okay So do we have everybody’s cards We might as well just read this He almost knocked the Jenga Oh
speaking of Jenga Jenga but it don’t fall down Um yeah I’m
going to create a new game It’s called like we’re not supposed to touch table with legs And if you do you can pee on them It’s really hard I know It’s a
tough game It’s a tough game Should be a little higher Go get me one buddy Okay
Um you might be a red uh you Oh I’m sorry If you like blank you might be a redneck
Uh let’s see [ __ ] all my dad’s friends Damn You
might be a redneck There’s a chance I guess So if if you like [ __ ] all my dad’s friends you might be a redneck
I could see that Maybe Yeah exactly That is very true If you like it’s I need to
definitively be speaking If you like kayaking with my [ __ ] you might be a
redneck Look here dude Go kayaking with the [ __ ] The kayaking Uh you might if
you like critical race theory you might be a redneck if you like it Yeah you’re
you’re assuming that all of them understand what that even means Critical race theory Yeah that’s true That’s a
good assumption Uh if you like uh a homoerotic volleyball montage you might
be a redneck That’s one I promise you they understand what that is That’s yours Yeah there you go I like that See
that’s something every man or But also too though the runner up I which was which was [ __ ] [ __ ] all my dad’s
friends That actually should have been the winner Mikey’s a blue guy These people you like blue It’s fine That’s
people like that But that one won Tear that card in half and give me the give me the other Oh that was your card That
was my card Okay So everybody else has a 10th card Oh everybody have 10 cards
Three four five So you read that one again Poopy Now I need one more please sir A two answer one Uh get rid of it
We’re not doing that Yeah we’re not doing two answers I think two answer cards are too much And Amen brother
We’re taking a stand right here right now on the Mike and Me podcast Do you like the two answer cards Yeah we’re not
sure It might be too much fun Was that yours This was on the table We won’t have just the right amount of fun That
not too much fun For a second Okay Next on ESPN 2 the World Series of Oh okay
Where’d my cards go Where’ my [ __ ] cards go Did I Oh
there they are Next on ESPN the World Series of
Uh um who shall I give my uh card to
Give I’m the card curator Oh so yes it’s a fixed position job unless you happen
to be the World Series of
Okay So the outro would be Yeah that’s good You work you’re you say you work at
a you had been working at a bar in Dallas Any Did you have any fun stories any or from there or from Denton Cuz I
know we had been talking about Denton I thought maybe you said earlier you had some fun story but Yeah Well well I mean
I think it’s funny but um like whenever um like whenever I was um first you know
starting out at UNCC like the first day that I went to go move my stuff into my dorm And so I remember we had just
dropped my stuff off and me and my best friend were going to Chipotle and I saw this guy and he had a poodle that was
dyed um pink and blue and I had never seen that before So I don’t know I
thought that was a pink and blue poodle Yeah Yeah A pink and blue poodle right there on the campus It was insane It’s
like why would you you know people just honestly I didn’t think anyone would notice I was even there but apparently
Oh I thought they were doing something I thought he was Dude he’s trying to hump that dog again Yeah I know Uh I think
that’s ex extravagant I feel like I wonder how much is what’s the going rate Matt asks “What’s the going rate on uh
on 500?” No on getting a dog on getting a dog uh like dyed like having them died
like two-toned I mean it depends on the quality of a job you want but GPT you know I’ve started a consulting business
and Oh you want an honest answer Why not Let’s see Cuz I’m interested What’s the going rate of getting your dog two tone
faded paint a paint job What’s What’s the going rate on a two-tonone paint job Pink and blue Here’s your uh in the
meantime while you’re finding that there’s your cards looking for 30 to 50 around this area for full hair dye So I
imagine it being less than 100 bucks You could probably get it done Dang You can get a pug two-tone paint job for less
than 100 bucks Yeah we might look into that I might look into that I could see
a flaming lily pug That’d be pretty dope cuz she’s fast Like make paint her like a comet Like paint her like a [ __ ]
like a Hot Wheel Yeah this is fun This is great Next on ESPN the World Series
of Puberty A how something The World Series of Puberty Yep
Next on ESPN 2 the World Series of White People Well that already exists No
actually no Well it depends on we watching tennis No What are we watching Oh uh lacrosse That would be lacrosse
Yeah I got to do white people I know that’s Well you’ve married once So how
I’ll take that Look at that And that’s a good sense of humor ladies and gentlemen That’s what I That was my favorite one
by far Yeah So and what So what have you what’s
the craziest thing you’ve seen on the job of something
Um so for a while I was a server at um a
Olive Garden in Oakliff where I was living Wait your family when you’re there but yeah What I’m sorry Were you
when you hear your family I’m sorry I was making a bad joke You can keep going So um yeah I had a lot of crazy stories
from working at that love garden Dude I get them Really Yeah I mean think of the people that go to love Yeah
Um so basically this one time I was working a closing shift and it was on a
Saturday So we were working till like 11:00 p.m And um I had this one friend
that I was working with And um you know he had like a one top come in just one
single guy And this guy comes in and he’s like “Hey like I’m blind You know I can’t see Can y’all help me get my way
to the bathroom?” So the host you know help him along and everything afterwards like they take him to his table They’re
like “Hey like here’s your table the menu everything Like your servers will be with you.” And so um you know my friend came
over He was like “Hey.” He was like you like “How can I help you What would you like?” And on the menu he points He’s like “Hey I want this.” And so
immediately we’re kind of like “Oh you know that’s like interesting.” Like there’s no braille on these menus Like I
didn’t know what it says And so you know usually like usually Saturday nights are
really busy but you know it was kind of like you know slow this night So whenever it’s slow all of the servers you know just kind of go hang out at
like the bar with the bartender you know talk and everything And so this guy was sat near the bar not directly in front
of the bar but close to it And so he ordered this alcoholic drink So the bartender you know makes the drink you
know we’re laughing and talking so we kind of get sidetracked and you know don’t bring the drink over immediately
And from off in the distance we hear “Hey like that’s my drink Like my drink is ready I want my drink.” And so we’re
like you know maybe he just heard like you know maybe it’s Ben Affleck from Daredevil
And seriously And so you know we bring him the drink We’re like “That’s weird.” So then later
um his server Alec is like “Yeah like this guy you know said he’s blind but he’s acting kind of weird Like I saw him
on his phone on like the Uber app.” Oh my god And so and so Alex like “All
right you know here’s your check Like I’ll be back in a second You know if you want to pay with like you know cash or card whatever.” And so all of a sudden
we hear like “Stop him Stop him.” And so this guy is like running out of the
front of the store and there’s an Uber literally parked right in front of the doorway So he literally just like slides
into the Uber and they’re gone It’s all about a getaway car man Is that the Thunder Yes the Thunder Wow Our
production’s pretty that’s hilarious But yeah this guy literally just jumped off into the Uber and so like my friend was
like kind of like chasing them across the parking lot for a little bit Hey Chris if only we got Uber back in the
day Dude so I was going to say yes like and then the blind man ran out and said he said be saying you
hopped in his Uber Did you What was your favorite um did you have did you take
home the bread sticks from there or were you a fan of any of the food Do you have anything you took home So actually
before I transferred jobs um they had a food Well so they had had this entree
out before but they took it off the menu and brought it back It’s called a steak gorgonzola like pasta something like
that And so whenever they brought it back out you like they let all the servers try it before the guests did
like you know and I tried it and it was really good And I got hooked on them for
a little while before I left And I gained a little bit of weight from eating you know an entire entree like every night But it was really good I
imagine that could happen That’s a lot of carbs A lot of carbs floating around over there And I would say like I was
devastated So I used to work at Specs and I delivered liquor to these
places like Chili’s and you know all the RIP to TGI Fridays Are they around still
No they’re gone Yeah they’re Yeah I think they’re gone Yeah Oh sorry You know I’m thinking of first there TGI
Fridays dead and then or I don’t know at least I mean I think they’re dead I think uh there’s I used Either way I
delivered all those three or two in college Yeah during college I waited But it was it was a dope spot in a way It
was like I hate that they’re gone Like it was nostalgic I’m not saying I like their food But the one in Addison looked
pretty cool It was it had a cool vibe The the manager was exactly what you
would expect He reminded me of like Shane Gillis from the car salesman thing or the Jason’s glasses Guy Fury Yes Okay
Him making gun of Guy Fury That’s amazing Um I remember keeping them in business I
don’t know I know they have fire That’s like That’s like longi Somebody said they’re they’re still open
That’s like somebody TGI Friday Yeah Matthew’s keeping him in business He worked there in college We don’t stop
He owns the entire company Actually that’s like uh news on the podcast I saw somebody
put a video up not long ago like on the internet and they were talking about like who’s keeping C uh Long John
Silvers alive and then they sent like these picture he put up these he’s like who’s eating this and I’m like one
question I have is he drone alive pizza Okay your
people there’s some like money laundering going on or something They accepted pesos Joking I remember Yeah No
for real They do They do accept That’s freaking weird The camera More
specifically Alyssa is keeping them alive Alyssa I’m not going to lie
Honestly our honestly I’m not going to be hating I’m proud I like I do not like
pizza [ __ ] with pizza patron My grand It is You’re not wrong It literally is a
molecule away from what they they encase it in and serve it to you with the pl the cardboard box It’s a couple of
molecules off the the stuff the you know the crust and stuff from being cardboard
Yeah That’s like Did you know some of those that this isn’t even a joke I don’t think like I could be wrong Matt
can figure it out I’m okay with being wrong But the the butter that you put like on like at Mexican restaurants that
you can put like on the the little the butter you squeeze out in the little thing on the table Have you ever been to
a Mexican restaurant that has it Usually they’re shitty ones like jalapeno tree and stuff like that Have y’all ever is
anybody anybody ber Oh crickets anybody cricket Yeah You know I’ve been to a lot
of Mexican restaurants in my life and we’ll look it up like the ones in like the little cup kind of Whatever you
talking about No it’s literally in a in a squeeze bottle that they butter Yes
Talking I mean I know that what kind of Mexican like a ketchup almost like the
It’s like a ketchup ketchup and mustard style I understand that but I’m just not
bottles Okay So I’ve never seen that at like a restaurant but you know for like um elotees and stuff Okay You’re
thinking of elotees I’ve never seen that in a Mexican restaurant They say apparently that [ __ ] is like technically
like a molecule away or something from being like plastic or some [ __ ]
Yeah I’m not surprised that shit’s not I mean it tastes good I don’t really mind I’m in here for a good time I wouldn’t
mess with it Ain’t that crazy That’s like also the uh like Red Bull apparently That’s not You know it’s not
good for you either way Cheerios I had I had a friend of mine having lead in there Cheerios Cheerios Cheerios Oh
apparently like there’s like a currently like there’s a lawsuit because there’s like straight up lead in their Cheerios
Oo you know what I’ve been eating on a fruity pack of Cheerios for the past week so maybe I could get in on that
Fruity Cheerios Yeah fruity Y’all remember when everybody was getting [ __ ] up from eating bad GIF or
whatever Peanut butter You know what Peter Pan you know what’s funny you say that is like the other day I saw this uh
on our like Amazon account We got like a notification saying there was a recall on one of Sila’s products And I had no
idea that this was a was a thing on Amazon And so I scrolled down and like from 2022 there was like two orders
where Matthew ordered GIF peanut butter and there was a recall on it and he still ate it Oh Matt I wouldn’t be I
would not put that on the I would not be worried about Matt Matt’s
the except Matt the camera Luckily the camera so she didn’t she didn’t consume
Matt I would not be worried about Matt Matt can Yeah Like I said I don’t pay extra for that I remember I came over
and he had the bullock Bullock Budok ramen Whatever it is The spicy bulldock
Bullock What Bullock Bulldock Bulldock It’s like B u L D A K Bulldock Ramen Do
you want the bulldock Do you want the bulldock Um so either way I remember eating that That that messed my stomach
up That had me like “Oh I couldn’t I can’t.” My brother My brother gave it to
me and he was like “Hey man you know you can have it It messed my stomach up.” I ate it Messed my stomach up I don’t I
think it was okay with him No it was like cuz No that was you about it I
asked you about it and I was like “Oh that’s the cam now.” I got you
Um no Because you uh I had asked you if you had tried the other ones yet and you
were like “Yeah I did I didn’t like them.” You were like “They [ __ ] me up.” I was like “Really?” Cuz they Yeah
No they were good They I loved it They tasted good I thought I thought they were amazing Yeah No but they they uh to
me um I think Did this thing turn off No it didn’t We just lost I can keep going I
know what’s going on You just keep um Oh I I’ll keep talking
Okay So all this uh What’s up little bear So how long have you had Bear here This a sweet little boy I like this
little fell How long have you had this little this little meat So I actually have had him since my uh
freshman year of high school I got him Freshman year of high school Mhm So we’ve been rocking together for about
almost How long has it been like six years now Yeah he’ll be six in a couple months Right on When were you born again
When was you born When was I born Like like the year or what year Yeah that’s
what he asked What year were you Oh uh 2005 Oh five God that’s
insane That is insane That’s crazy
2005 How old are you I don’t do I’m not good at math I’m 20 20 Man that’s insane
Yeah So how do you feel about life You feel like you got life You got a good grasp of life at 20 years old in 2025 I mean
yeah Yeah I think so As good as I can have Yeah
Yeah Have a grasp of anything No I remember
being 20 you know Yeah I’m not saying I’m not I’m not saying about age wise or
anything I’m saying it’s hard to get a grasp of anything like in general like
regardless of you know your age in this day and age It’s like there’s so much
you know there’s so much information out there that it’s like yeah it’s difficult to parse out you know any of it So yeah
it’s like yeah shout out yeah to you for you know existing because I didn’t know
it was like no when I was when I was 20 I had you know it was like I knew a
little bit but I you know I feel like I didn’t really pay attention to you know
I I didn’t feel like I had a grasp on the world you know if you had asked me that question like I don’t know maybe
bravado and [ __ ] like that would have had it that way Yeah I know what’s going on Yeah but like No exactly It’s like I
remember being 20 and thinking like I I know how this is going to work out I’m going to do this This is a decision I’m
going to make and this and that and then you’re like it was a totally different world too Yeah exactly That was my point
is that me at 20 saying that that was
20 [ __ ] 03 Yeah I don’t believe it It’s totally
different world that I had to figure out then
I’m sorry Now now in 2025
it’s like I can’t imagine being 20 years old Yeah Me either sometimes honestly
Where were we at Where we at We’re just talking
I’m sorry I didn’t know if this was part of the game That’s all I was asking No I was good You have 10 cards No we’re I’m
about Yeah I’m good I’m back I’m live Who’s the Who’s You won I won Remember
Yes that’s right So then I pull the black card and I am the uh um you know
the proprietor of comedy at this moment Mama mia Here I go again My my How can I
resist the blank Me a car How can I resist the blank
If it’s a crap card I will exchange cards Okay I have a lot of crap cards If they’re crap cards give me all your crap
cards and I’ll give you better Uh who’s uh who’s the part-time maestro since he’s the the man Who do I give who do I
give my card to You’ll be the you’ll be the card maestro Everybody will give me their cards and we’ll pass them to you
Gosh Responsibility Stole my cards Huh What You need five
Avan two three four five four five These are your

talk about or I’m another question I’m going to ask for Can I trade these three You need three You need to You need
three cards Yes Crappy cards Uno No Say Trey say we must stop a tear
to stop Okay anybody else need have crap cards Any new cards Everybody have their answers Get your answers ready again Mia
here I go again My my How can I resist the blank I’m a borhead Yep You just
give your cards to me He needs a two cards My my Here I go
again I cannot resist the black Give them to Matthew Yeah Matt’s card curator
Give your answers to Steph Steph will Wait I thought I thought I get I thought he gave the answers to me I’m the Wait
there’s two rows He just said give your cards to Matt I thought I’m the guy who’s You take the cards Give your cards
to Matt and then So to shuffle them Okay So wait I just gave you my answer cards
But I gave it to Matt Yeah So give your answers to Matthew Okay I’ve got two cards so far One’s mine one’s hers So Oh
there it goes right here No give it to them No they’re matching And then Chris
have you given yours No What was the question Uh the question is mama mia here I go again My my How can I resist a
blank How can I resist How can you blank It’s spaghette Y’all familiar with
spaghette Spaghett dude Is spa you know dude I’ve seen them twice
live and I’ve been on stage with Tim and Eric All right there we go I’ve got multiple shirts of Tim and Eric Spaette
Tim and Eric is like one of the biggest influences in my humor Uh yes I’m very
familiar with spaghett that was literally he hides behind plants and
stuff Yes dude I love [ __ ] hair like there We got to pull
up a video Okay have so many shuffle the cards Hand
the cards I’ve only got four How many Shuffle them around a couple Four Four We got four And then hand them to me
Four One Two Wait I thought there’s Yeah but there’s only there can only be four There’s an optical illusion occurring
Okay Okay So so then spaghette All right Now pull
up spaghette and I will answer this question of uh Here we go Here’s the
question I know I know everybody’s hanging on all this on every word Here I go again My my How can I
resist the glitter How can I resist the glitter That’s a good one right That’s
not bad That’s a How can you Spooky Some cannot However however some can you know
it scares other That reminds me of the song This that right there that answer how can you resist the clitoris And the
way I was singing it reminds me of uh the Friends episode Y’all familiar with Friends You watch Friends I’ve never
watched any of it You’ve never watched any of it Interesting So pride myself on that Were you born 2005 The tracks does
So it’s either that’s like that’d be like you ever watched the Odd Couple Yeah You either have something to look
forward to or it wouldn’t be or you’re going to watch it and be like “Ah this sucks Not for me.” Yeah I think I just
be like “No this isn’t for me.” Okay Yeah But either one either way there was a part in that where Joey had gone he
had he had done a part in a play and all of everybody showed up to see him and he was like a psychiatrist like talking to
somebody I think that wanted to be a a man or something and he was like all you want is to
tinkle but you envy the a thing from which you can tinkle or
vaguely simply let hang It just reminded me of that you know So there you go So
um Oh never mind It moved There was a bug on your shirt but it just flew away
Yeah Well I’m the moth man They heard me summoning him This is spaghette Oh
that’s not the Yeah you just need to go to him Spy it
Yeah cuz they end up using multiple things Oh yeah So keep going I’m just going in the background
No this is a funnier version These two office workers are planning
ahead for their weekly staff meeting but what they can’t possibly plan for is a surprise from Spaghette
You’re on camera This guy so spooky I got you Spook You
should have seen your faces My name’s Spaghette I do parties and you save my
card Someone spooky I saw somebody back there I thought it was our boss’s kid back there for like 10
minutes It wasn’t a kid Was kind of surprising Wasn’t
Yeah Suspect Gotcha Okay So the last one All right So
the next one is uh Mama Mia how can I resist the natural
selection Has you know and that’s when reality that’s when there’s no you can’t run There’s no
resisting you know It’s sombre It’s a sombering thought Mama mia how what’s this saying You lay back and enjoy it
Keep going Oh how can I how can I resist drinking gasoline to see what this
tastes like I love seeing her face That’s not bad dude Uh Mama Mia how can
I resist permanent orgasm face disorder
This is the This is the game Mikey wanted to play dude Due to how due to how it uh rhymes this one the
clitoris that did you win Yeah it rhymes so well Mama mia Like that
rhymed well How does that How does that rhyme Well the way I was saying it Okay Well can you repeat it cuz I forgot Mama
mia How can I resist the [ __ ] versus How does that rhyme I don’t know I don’t
just the way it felt Maybe not rhyme resist Tell us about your life You misuse your
words Okay Oh I misuse my words Oh yeah I think she’s calling me interest
Perhaps we might learn a thing or two with this girl That’s interesting We might learn something All right That’s
We can do that If we’re if you’re trying to teach a grown man No I’m What’s your question
for Oh okay Actually yeah I was um so a couple weeks ago when I was talking
about books funny books My wife fleets in not okay whatever We got to interesting books We got to a topic She
didn’t pick books Either way she brought up a book Um as we’re talking in the kitchen and involved a character that
you’re quite familiar with not Mo Man but he I would say he might be Mo Man’s friend Who would you guess one of Moth
Man’s good friends is Maybe his best friend honestly Richard Gear No but yes Aha
Like in that world that realm of those you know those characters or entities
who might Mo Man hang out with roughly his same size possibly Same size
as Moth Man Everyone he’s more famous than Mo Man Oh Sasquatch
Sasquatch So what’s that book that you’re talking about Okay so before I get into this let me preface this by
saying that I have not read this book It just popped up as an Instagram reel on
my Instagram so that’s how I learned about it And then you know I read a little summary of it cuz you know like
morbid curiosity So this book is called Breeding with a Bigfoot If that gives
you breeding with Bigfoot if that gives you any idea of what it’s about So from
my understanding the way the plot of the book goes again because I haven’t read it so I’m not 100% sure but this woman
is camping with her boyfriend out in the wilderness and Bigfoot is out there So
um she catches her boyfriend cheating on her with a Bigfoot With a Bigfoot Yes
Yeah And then you know what they say cheating big feet Big feet
Obviously you know her description No but no I let let the lady describe it
cuz for someone who didn’t read the book she knows a lot But keep going I didn’t read it I didn’t read it I read
summaries But yeah but also it goes on to uh say that you know after she found
her boyfriend you know cheating on her with them she’s like well I might as well give him a turn So she tries him
out and then she ends up getting pregnant with Littlefoot Yeah The dinosaur And so
um and so then there’s this part where Bigfoot is like “Well if you want you know the baby to like survive in you and
like get the nutrients that it needs you have to drink my um how do you put it?”
Yeah Your baby batter Special juice every day Special juice What the [ __ ] And and and
this girl didn’t read the book but it knows an awful lot about it No there’s more But it gets better Yeah I didn’t um
from somebody who strictly Well let me just let me just add when she told me about the fact that she came across this
post on Instagram she specifically told me “Yeah I saw this and I thought it was
so disturbing that I reported it.” I did report it on Instagram Um um I think
it’s actually still under review I’m pretty sure they haven’t you know it’s really care about their guideline stuff
honestly Like yeah it’s kind of it is shocking regardless of not getting
reported or not It is shocking what stuff like gets by Anyhow yeah So uh if
it’s funny Mikey how many cards does everybody have First of all I need one more card Do you need one more But um
like while we’re doing that I just want to ask um as a Bigfoot enthusiast how does that make you feel What about
Bigfoot breeding with other people I don’t know To me I feel like he gra I
thought you said that he he forced himself on the guy Uh uh well you know first time he told me it wasn’t it was
like rape and then one summary said it wasn’t So well look I’m not I can’t confirm because again I haven’t read it
Here’s the thing Okay So at what point have you read enough summaries Read the book I Yeah that’s I mean I’ve only read
like three summaries so I don’t think that How long were these summaries Um they were probably like you know brief like brief paragraphs How long was the
book I don’t know how many pages it is I didn’t look into it I’ve read 78% of the
Yeah she has read the book but I I think you could teach on it And are we ready Yes
If you can’t be with the one you love love
blank Oh there’s this famous song that’s based on If you can’t be with the one
you love the song is paying off his love The one you’re with The one you’re with
Yeah Just that’s uh playing on something there Um I’d like to thank everybody for
participating and playing this game for me to win
Say that again One more time It’s going to be easy You can’t be with the one you love Love blank The one
Yeah The cards have Yeah it’s a Yeah
Bam Give me that Can I get a spot on this one I get a spot on that I guess this is a test of
how well I know my husband’s humor No we’re not enemies in this This is This is the That is true That is true True
but I have really bad cars There’s your answer You were helping each other to see how big And that’s the thing you know and that’s I haven’t traded like
five of them You know y’all both y’all traded five I I haven’t traded I’ve traded no car So so far I haven’t traded
any and I haven’t been winning All right here we go We ready for this Uh if you can’t be with the one you love love Bill
Nye the Science Guy I’m not a fan of him He’s not even
Don’t get me started on building is more qualified to be a science guy than Yeah dude No don’t get me going If you can’t
be with the one you love love a sad hand job
If you can’t be with the one you love love seething with
resentment Damn You know what I know You know where’s the fun cards What happened to the fun cards
Okay If you can’t be with the one you love love telling a shitty story that goes
nowhere Bingo I’ve done those Who’s that Who won that Telling a shitty story that
goes nowhere Of course I do Of course you will Give me the black card
Do you want to guess which one was my card No Say no See if See if I know his
humor Just kidding Bill not a science guy No I want to seething with quite
resentment Yes Yeah Everybody need a card Like that’s life every guy No that that No that is that is that was a good
guess It was a good guess but it wasn’t It wasn’t Did you need a card No it was the most right card you probably had
Probably the best option you had Literally the best option Yeah All you do is you play the best options you got I was second I was second Chris
so first one Do you read any other books Do you Is it What else are you into Like
are you into the spooky cryptic [ __ ] like uh like like Bigfoot Moth Man Is
that something up your alley or you just stumble across Um I mean you know if I come across like something about them
then you know I’ll read it but I don’t go actively you know looking for like information What do you think the the
the weirdest [ __ ] that you believe in is What would be the most like controversial opinion you have
like the weirdest like an example Yeah Like what Like believing aliens Yeah
Believing in aliens Believing in like I believe in the possibility that Moth Man
could have been a real thing rather than just a phenomena of like mass hysteria
There’s like pigeons or spies Actually no No This is perfect Okay So um I read
um this like um report from a long time ago What was it Um there’s these things
called the uh Kelly Hopskinville aliens Um I read a whole story about like this
family’s encounter with them like way out in the middle of nowhere And after reading that I was kind of convinced
that like their existence like actually has to be real But you can probably look up the story that I read about them Like
check it out But yeah um they’re called the Kelly Hopskinville aliens I believe is what they’re called But um yeah so
there was this family that was like living out in the middle of nowhere you know country family and um they had
there had been reports of like police officers and stuff seeing like UFOs in the area before like they encountered
them But um this family told this whole story like incredibly detailed about how
these aliens like you know came up to their house like they were shooting at them and they were basically kind of
like bulletproof and the uh the cops were like oh well you know like y’all must have been like on you know drugs or
something like they drug tested them and like uh did like a lie detector test too
I think and everything came out like clear of them being truthful Now
apparently this incident is considered one of the most significant and well doumented cases in UFO history Wow Yeah
It’s known as the Hopkinsville Goblins case or Kelly Green men case Refers to an alleged close encounter with
extraterrestrial beings that took place near the communities of Kelly and Hopkins Hopskinsville in Christian County Kentucky on the night of August
21st 1955 Corner reports five adults seven children arrived at Hopkins
Hopskinsville police station claiming that small alien creatures from a spaceship had been attacking their farmhouse They’ve been defending
themselves with gunfire for nearly 4 hours Two of the adults Elmer Sutton and Billy Tyler described shooting at short
dark figures who appear repeatedly appeared at doorways or appeared in windows There’s a lot of information So
yeah that’s uh seems like something to definitely believe is true Yeah So what
do you think Uh no it’s like that one reminds me of like the uh the one in Kenya or whatever where all the school
kids saw the UFO thing come down where it was a big you know Okay cooperated story So what I
know what’s something that you believe that there’s no evidence for Yeah
That you have faith that it it that it’s a thing like literally believe in it but there’s no actual evidence that exists
for it outside of other people who might believe in it
I don’t know It’s a tough question If you don’t have an answer that’s cool But it’s almost like ghosts or be like
aliens That’s me Yeah that’s cool if you don’t have an answer but it’s a deep question you know Maybe
um fairies I feel like nobody has proof of fairies but I feel like fairies could
be a thing You think fairies could be real What’s your like what’s your under thought of them You’re call like
whatever that understanding is How would you describe it I don’t know Okay that’s fine That’s
fine Keep going Yeah I was like yeah it’s interesting though I agree Yeah Yeah No I definitely apologize No no I
mean I think the fairies I remember I had a buddy of mine a buddy of mine some kid you know I knew when I was young
told me about a story about when his his older brother uh claimed that he had
seen like a troll or like a leprechaun one time And I’m
like okay shut the front door No way Keep all the front doors closed No way
Your brother saw how did he tell me So he’s talking about how he’s the story about how his his brother was riding
this bike and or this bike his bike He’s riding his bike around and like I can’t
remember I think he was around like some old like some warehouse or something like around like a Yeah No I’m sorry The
thunder just Oh [ __ ] Um so he’s riding his bike around this like old like a
warehouse or something on like a weekend when when no trucks were out there or whatever And apparently he’s like doing
BMX stuff or whatever and doing all this [ __ ] And like apparently like he he’s he
claimed that his brother like did a trick and he fell and like as he like when he fell like he
was going to stand up and just saw like the feet of this like troll or
leprechaun and then he said that the dude just like took off like he got he got scared and then took off and I’m
like oh probably the best response you know This was right after he hit his
head That That’s probably You know what I mean That could have been But no just to
say it’s like I you know there’s that card you just won Chris White people I’m
joking I’m talking No but what was the No I was going to say there’s a reason I think a lot of those stories exist I
think there’s you know there’s it’s interesting to think whether or not even if fairies are real or not what is it
that they were comparing what they saw to because people back in the day would
call UFOs you know a lot of different other [ __ ] They didn’t call them UFOs
they called them gods and stuff So what do you think It’s like okay actually I
think I have a better one that I just thought of that there isn’t really evidence of the Lochness monster
Illy underwater ally Yeah was the GM of the Mavericks I believe Speaking of
Nessie Oh yeah Yeah
Yeah Yeah Nessie you think the Loch Ness monster Nessie was underwater ally You think he’s not to be he’s real Yeah No I
think um I would say I was definitely convinced of the existence of Nessie
after I watched that Um what is it Disney Napoleon Dynamite Uh uh that’s
what I was quoting when I said um uh there’s a movie called the uh water horse I love watching that movie when I
was younger It’s like a Disney movie After that movie I was convinced See they’re still making good Disney movies Mikey No this was back in like 2000 like
200 something It was like when I was little so it’s not a newer Disney movie
Yeah man A water horse huh I like Disney have to go and [ __ ] it up
What if I’d ride a water horse I think of uh seam like the sea cows manatees
Maybe they’re related You know how do y’all feel about SeaWorld I hate SeaWorld I’ve never Hey look Anywhere
that I know for a fact they might be mistreating the animals I’m signed up for that
That’s so [ __ ] That’s so [ __ ] up Yeah No No For real though Why do you think I go to
zoos Did y’all ever watch that Did y’all ever watch that documentary on them like oh the black uh whatever it’s called
It’s like the or the or Yeah the famous Killer World documentary It’s like the
word black I think or something Yeah My uh my uh seventh grade English teacher
made our class um
on that dude underwater and he was like toying with him It’s like he pretty much was drowning It’s like wait what we we
call him killer wells wasn’t even Yeah he like he he pretty much started like drowning somebody um like drowning the
dude in front of people and I thought that was pretty crazy I’m like “Wow there’s just people watching somebody potentially get drowned.” But I mean you
know I feel like whenever you have such like an intelligent animal that has like
the capability of like getting so frustrated from like a lack of like you know stimulation and stuff being
understood honestly Yeah That’s like just you know Yeah Like dolphins are
have bigger brain largest brain capacity of all mammals even humans Do you hear you know that the the dolph you ever
heard of the dolphin assisted births Yeah I have Have you And dolphins grape
things like and they know it that they’re doing it See that’s
they actually they they have they’re like an animal that has sex for pleasure the only other mammal that has sexual
pleasure you know like dolphins are like the otter of like the ocean Like
dolphins and otter you know otter look so cute but it turns out that they’re actually terrible creatures Just like
panda bears they’re both evil Like panda bears are aggressive and violent They look so friendly Yeah And they’re big
stumbling bumbly aggressive too Nipples Drops Yeah Oh hippos Oh yeah They’re
like crazy aggressive [ __ ] kill you Yeahs
Like that’s terrifying Oh Chris what was your card White people like and then nobody
Okay White people like I didn’t know there was more to it Well we were waiting on you to finish
the description Chris No it just says white That’s my wife My wife
Three words Okay I have one Look at that I made a
laugh That’s a wonderful thing It makes me think of this one I don’t
think you Oh I wonder if I could guess it when he I
don’t know I I don’t even know anymore
Yeah All right Stephanie Question for you What do you which What’s What’s your most controversial thing that you
believe that nobody believes Nobody in the world believes and and you’re not allowed to say vampires Yeah that’s
exactly what I’m going to say Twilight Uh I would
say Paul McCartney is dead Oh yeah The Beatles thing Oh that he’s not dead or
he is dead He’s not dead And they basically found a lookalike with a
lookike contest and secretly like I saw that Yeah there’s a whole documentary on
it She showed it to me It’s it’s it’s a fun one If you haven’t seen it if you haven’t seen No I’m glad you said that
cuz I’ve been seeing stuff about it recently and I’m like you know what This seems like a rabbit hole worse Mike is
looking up to believe in like it just doesn’t make any sense how all of it
adds up Mhm What about it to you was like the
most like weird I said think collectively or see how big we can
get this bad boy I would say all the music lyrics and like the stories behind all the songs
Many stories like Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band when he introduces himself as Billy Shears Yes
Billy Shears Oh like in the song you know he’s actually dangerous He’s Let me
introduce you to You don’t I am not a Beatles fan Well you don’t have to be a fan to know a song but
scoreboard I guess you do I guess you do No no no you don’t You don’t You don’t have to be a fan know song especially
pop culture Yes Yeah I guess Sing it for me But then on Tik Tok the Beatles aren’t on
Now what what the the song you’re talking about on that one Stephanie The song I’m talking about she couldn’t sing
it She just knows information about it Chris she knows information about it but she doesn’t actually know the song Okay
she knows the song That’s like the people that when you wear a band Ser How
many What’s your favorite track I was singing it I just know it because of some random BS We’re having fun now
See look Stephanie This is what Matthew goes through every week when we do the podcast You have to Google it Look Pull
that [ __ ] up Stephanie Pull it up Stephanie hurry up Pull it up I already did Oh what a good boy Look at him He’s
crying Okay So so may I introduce to you the act you’ve known for all these years
Sergeant Pepper Lonely Clips Heartband And then he says “Oh this Okay it’s
wonderful to be here It’s certainly a thrill You’re such a lovely audience We’d like to take you home with us.” Uh
so there’s a lyric in this song that’s the singer is going to sing a song and he wants you all to sing along So let me
introduce you to the one and only Billy Shears And that right there is enough for you to believe that that’s Paul
McCartney Like I said it’s the songs like all of the I know it’s it’s a component of many things I Oh I know I
know a lot of I know a lot of the evidence he’s talking about even the car wreck and all this stuff The guy who
Paul McCartney his real name was Billy Shears Okay there’s a lot of stuff And
so like the second song is when he basically says “I hope that I can like
sing for you or something.” I’m trying to figure out what it said but basically he’s like “Hopefully like I can sing
this right for you.” Like saying like he’s being replaced by someone else He does a good job as Paul McCartney
basically within the song There’s not a difference Yeah No and I mean that’s what I’m saying I’ve heard you know
that’s the thing about some of this [ __ ] There’s there’s it’s either that there’s stuff to it or there’s certain people
that have a really great way of like you know almost like a magician slide of
hand [ __ ] Like they have a really good way of of of taking their [ __ ] that’s out there
and making a story out of it or making a theory from it The basic idea of faith
is what it really like comes down to Yeah So it’s basically with a little help from my friends What would you
think if I sang out a tune Would you stand up and walk out on me Lend me your ears and I’ll sing you a song I’ll try
not to sing out a key but he’ll get by with a little help of with his friends
So like the rest of the band basically Yeah Kind of helps him get along No Yeah
I mean you know No that’s pretty that’s interesting You know Mikey it’s actually there’s a documentary about it that
pretty fascinating like the the whole thing behind uh I am the walrus was
basically like he got into an accident in the rain and like they found him decapitated and they said that he looked
like a walrus and so that’s why like his character is the walrus
Oh I am the walrus Have you the one the theories I really like and Matt I don’t
know if you have any that maybe you’ve heard of that you think maybe could be the most because I’m sure you’ve heard
of them but the Yeah exactly But like the uh the like movie you know whether
it’s TV or just different movie genre crossover like um like Wizard of Oz
things that happen in the background or something No not stuff that happened in the background but for instance like they talk about I can’t remember what
movie it is but they’re trying to say like in one movie that like Adam uh in
one of the Adam Sandler movies Ben Stiller’s character there’s been theor like
theories about like the Ben Stiller’s character in that was technically like he started off as somebody else earlier
like Yeah Like the the You’re in my world now Yeah old like in the nursing
You want to go to sleep I’ll put you to sleep You should look up the Carl Winslow theory Really Yeah There’s one
Oh yeah That was it I think I saw that recently Like a character that’s crossed over between different movies or so The
Nak Yes The No but before Nakatomi Plaza there was a movie or a show that he was
in or something that there was something prior to there was something that actor was in
prior to Die Hard Yes Yes That was something where he shot somebody Then in
Die Hard he tells the story He’s not actually married They say all the reasons and like him knowing the twink
Oh Uh Egon [ __ ] uh uh Ghostbusters Okay He was from Ghostbusters He was the
cop in Ghostbusters Okay And Egon tells him about the [ __ ] Twinkies and all
the [ __ ] that So it’s like the writers like actually connected the same character into another like movie or so
Unbelievable [ __ ] He saw some unbelievable [ __ ] in Ghostbusters Yeah Knew the [ __ ] makeup of Twinkies and
stuff because of that exact scene Okay that’s cool I like that It’s cooling As
far away from where it happened as he could thus the scene in Yeah What’s it called Oh that’s cool I like that Beyond
that there was him like after Nakatomi Plaza Yeah It was like he
he played in something else where it went like beyond that to where ultimately it ended in family matters
Yeah Which was a dream state Okay Family Matters was just him having a dream of
like if I could have just done it the way like ideal this was like a David
Lynch production No So No I know I know I’m just like li like No I like it It’s
cool No So yeah that’s what I meant Like I didn’t know if you had heard of any [ __ ] like that where it’s like or if you had any theories of like or or ones that
you had heard of that you thought were the most plausible of like things like that where Yeah talking about but I
haven’t like really gone into like uh knowing about any of them Okay
I mean there you go Bas Yeah For what it’s worth I guess it’s it’s it’s interesting but it’s not
that interesting to me That’s like I guess that’s just the truth Like it’s interesting but not that I just white
people white people be like No not be like just Oh I’m sorry I not be like
doing the voice White people like
White people like White people like using a condom
Okay that’s true They do like that White people like calling the cops on an
innocent black man That checks out That white people
like being a being a woman That checks out too White people like genuine human
connection That doesn’t check out That’s the winner That one The last one is a genuine human
connection That’s Matthews God Okay I knew we were going to have to break this cycle I knew we were going to have to
break this cycle As soon as as as soon as like they liked
each other’s cards I’m like we’re going to have to break their cycle of [ __ ] Somebody’s gonna have to be funnier or
like get to one of their sense of humors outside of the other because you we’re it’s otherwise one of them’s just gonna
win No I don’t do well in these games honestly Yeah but that’s because you know Chris It doesn’t matter But Chris
knows you and you know Chris So more than likely Chris is going to win this next one and then and then you’re going
to know Chris’s humor and submit your card and Chris is going to say that yours is the funny the funny thing is I
think the reality of is like in not even trying to think what they would think is funny just actually being knowing each
other your whole life and thinking the same things are funny I agree I agree But like yeah it’s the same result the
same outcome using a condom No
so I there was [ __ ] Wait so condoms No the
I told him to guess which was like which one was mine Like I don’t remember all of them
Okay the using the condoms one was mine I don’t Wait so mine was calling the cops Oh
gosh I don’t really have good being a woman Oh gosh Yeah the woman was the
worst one on this It wasn’t that it was just because it was Wait while we’re
here I’m curious This is Sierra Sierra Sier is like the star of this now I
would say Um what’s the most interesting story or thing that you’d like to share at all
Just like in general like a general Yeah Yeah Know if it helps you to be specific
uh within the last 5 years what’s something you’d like to share that’s happened Um that you’d like to
share or don’t mean to like ask you to share something you don’t want to
Truth or dare Um Okay What’s made you laugh the most ever
that you can remember What’s made me laugh the most ever that I can remember That’s kind of hard cuz I feel like I
laugh at everything So you know it gets to a point where I just kind of It’s fine Yeah You help me Help me She needs
specific questions I just don’t want to ask the wrong ones cuz I don’t want to touch a sore spot So no it’s fine Just
ask it Just ask it Uh I know too much What celebrity do you
like the least I know this one I know the answer to this one man I feel
impressed [ __ ] Sabrina Carpenter Dude I can’t stand her I Sabina help refresh
my memory Who is she If I ever see her on the street man I don’t know what I’m gonna do but why don’t you like her Are
you just player hating Okay you know what I hope I Are you player hating or is this like you hating her Okay hold on
Why you hating her Okay so I hope that he never sees this Uh no I don’t even want to look at her Sabrina Carpenter Is
that’s her Yes Yes that’s okay Like let me explain Okay so I had this guy um I’m
not gonna say his name because you know I just don’t want to share John Doe but yeah but he was a love of my life I
loved him so much And you know he’s like me He’s Mexican but he had this like
obsession with white girls and he loved her so much And you know I’m not that
I’m not blonde with like you know blue eyes and stuff So he would just go on and on about her And I remember one time
he told me he was like “Whenever I die I want all of my stuff to go to Sabrina Carpenter.” How how did you’re very
young Was he a person Was he is he older Um yeah Uh yeah he’s older than me right
now Like when he said 26 So when he said this was like 18 So a 24y old man had
that loves Sabrina Carpenter and and he has like a he’s a functioning human in society Yes Interesting But like it just
got to me and like now whenever I hear her music like when people bring her up I just I can’t stand to hear it That’s a
that’s a hardcore fan right there I don’t even know I mean I felt that way about Britney Spears when I was 14 You
know I like feel like I can’t say too much because I’m the same way with um like I don’t know if y’all know who uh Pesluma is but like I’ve had this one
guy that I was dating get really insecure about the fact that I love Pesluma Yeah he is But like I love
Pesluma with the love You don’t know Shout out to
Peso if you ever seen that Look at him He’s like “How the fuck?” It’s a It’s a popular like crossover song It was like
a Mexican song that people people really love it I’m out of the loop on this end
It’s like you know people loved it White people
were like “Hey more [ __ ] with it Got loved it.” Same thing We didn’t need to understand it
that one You know you don’t have to understand it If if it sounds good it’s what people like I like how Stephanie
already knew who I was going to say Yeah Who do you like the most What celebrity you [ __ ] with the most Do you think
you’d get along with the most Peso Bluma Peso Can you one one that’s in a white
white person’s language Who’s your favorite white celebrity I’m joking Uh honestly like a white person that I
think I would really like Yeah They don’t exist I mean I don’t really
like hang out or like talk to white people I just hang out with Mexicans and talk to Mexicans listen to Mexican music
So I can’t really Could you have guessed that You know what’s funny though Remember what happened last week I wouldn’t have either I went to my
dermatologist Oh man Okay I don’t want No that was
interesting He says because like whenever I was taking her somewhere the other day I’m like “Put on your favorite song.” And it was cool like it wasn’t
any it was like anything pop culture or white or mainstream It was like some
random like some she was cool some music actually Okay So I will say that that
song was by a group called um for and they are pretty mainstream right
now So like they are like a mainstream group mainstream group But I feel like to a typical white person it’s like oh
like this is so different I’m not going to lie like a lot of that [ __ ] I think a lot of the uh like I think it’s cool but
I do like the fact that that’s coming back like for Hispanics or whatever to
actually like [ __ ] music that’s we’re allowing them to like sang in like his
like Mexican like or Hispanic [ __ ] we can’t you know what I mean I love it because everything like for a while like
I feel like when we were growing up that [ __ ] nobody was that [ __ ] wasn’t popular It’s like you almost feel like you were
ostracized It’s like people wanted to stay away from that Like there was a lot of Mexican dudes I knew that were like I
don’t [ __ ] speak Spanish Guy was trying to speak Spanish to me I don’t like they wanted to separate themselves from like speaking Spanish and and [ __ ]
like that and listening to Spanish speak They’re getting with the times It’s like no I mean I think I mean society
progressing is like my take on Yeah Yeah Yeah Absolutely Yeah Yeah For sure I just think it’s interesting Do you you
know what I mean Yeah It’s cool It’s cool to live through a transition of seeing that from going from that state
to actually seeing culture and society become more accepting because now it’s like you’re getting a lot of these like
over time group like I know about them like they’re [ __ ] blowing up and
stuff and yeah group is like a big ass like [ __ ] Tahano group and it’s like
I remember like Tahano [ __ ] was always like looked at like oh no that’s real like Mexican [ __ ] I don’t I don’t really
listen to that But now it’s cool that that type of [ __ ] is mainstream and they’ve also mixed it with like rap and
stuff like that Yeah Well I don’t know if anyone else I need to take a quick break
Yeah I got y’all keep going Would y Does anyone else need I know y’all keep going
I just don’t know if I’m the only one I mean I feel like a break would you know be fine I can take a break Cool Pause it
Of course not We are back And we’re back man It’s a It’s storming out there
It’s We We at least have a little bit of rain but we’re finally getting some Yeah it’s finally happening It’s not just a
lightning show It’s very nice you know and made some cheese sticks in the air
fryer which um the air fryer I’ll say this right now it’s a device that I’m a
deep fryer you know I’m a deep fry man and I’m always a good deep fry man
Always going to be But uh the air fryers are quite freaking efficient They do a pretty good job They really have to
respect them They’re healthier for what what putting soaking something in a
vat of boiling grease isn’t healthy Interesting Interesting All right Well we’re back here and sounds like fake
news So while Sierra’s eating these mozzarella Okay by all means I would
like to share something that happened last week By all means I was about to ask you
would you like to share something that happened appointment And of course this is the
first time I’ve ever been to this office this clinic met this doctor So this guy comes in very nice looking white man I
like the sound of this And you know I like where this is going We have the whole appointment everything
He’s like “Okay you know you’re you’re good to go.” He walks out closes the door and then Sir how do we tell her
that she’s Mexican So why is my skin dark Says “You know I
don’t really like white guys but that was that man was a very nice man to look at.”
And as soon as we walk out he’s literally like back face from us like 2
feet from the door Okay as we’re walking out of still in the room and it’s like
it was just funny cuz we like awkwardly silently walked away like walked right
past him and like Yeah she even said she like made eye
contact with like the nurse or the like physician assistant or something and
like how she kind of smirked at her Yeah Yeah Okay No it’s just funny I’m glad you brought that up I’m glad you brought
that up I’m glad you brought that up That’s why I’m joking Um and again you can answer and I answer
uh whatever but you mentioned so what’s the largest gap in years that you’ve had
with somebody that you’ve uh you said something early tonight and that’s why I’m asking like when you’re talking
about he was 24 whatever And I know and that’s fine I’m just curious what the largest gap in years is someone that
you’ve dated in or talked to Okay You know what I’ll be honest Um the biggest
gap so far has been 25 years And this
was what age 20 Okay
Well at least it’s legal Yeah That’s what’s important Yeah You know Yeah So
yeah You know other than that you know hey it’s interesting Did you ever date a guy that you put him
in a a bad situation just by even talking to him What do you mean What do you mean how
Were you ever underageed but you like approached and like you you’re cool with dating an older guy but you know that
like man this is a risk for him be seeing you No No No I’ve never That’s
good No Yeah I didn’t think so This is you know it’s an interesting thing It’s
interesting thing Okay I really like this piercing I don’t know
what do you call that She’s It’s the top of her nose Um it’s called a bridge
piercing Bridge piercing And like how long ago did you get that And like at
what point did you know you wanted to get that Um I’ve had it for two years
And um so basically I was wanting to get a facial piercing that I knew wasn’t
very common and one that you know my friends didn’t have because I have a friend that’s known for like her lip
piercings one that’s known for like a septum piercing but there’s never been
anybody I guess in my friend groups like brave enough to get you know something
never seen it I mean I’m sure I have like in a photo of someone but not like somebody out and about I I did a slimmer
thing whenever I graduated high school I got them my lip pierced right here you know cuz I want almost the same idea
that I feel like you had you know you want to get a piercing and be unique you know but um yeah that’s interesting
Thank you So I’m I’m curious and you have to do this and it’s easy but I want
you any question you want I want you to come up with a question to ask each of
us Actually I have one for Chris Okay we’ll start with him but you have to do each of us Okay So one question I wanted
to ask you was at what age did you start um referring to women generally as
broads Get to the mic Get to the mic so the viewers can hear the response and you
know so so nobody nobody gets it twisted
It would have probably it would have probably been at some point When did we meet
Probably my late 20s early 30s like you know it’s like it’s not necessarily
a like it’s a step shy of [ __ ]
but you know but it’s not that [ __ ] It’s like I don’t know It’s one of those things where like it’s genuinely it’s
not like it’s from a bygone era Yeah it is kind of one of those things where
it’s just like it kind of throws people for a loop when you say it It’s like what are you broads up to So what the
[ __ ] is a broad And honestly yeah honestly you know like what is a who
like I think one of the only other people in my life that I’ve ever heard
refer to women as broads is Brooklyn Montgomery
[ __ ] used to call like she used to call Yeah My sister’s best friend’s going broads Yeah Yeah That girl
actually uh Yeah Hope she’s alive right Yeah She shut up and cheek and about it
But shout out Brooke Hope you’re doing good That’s awesome Yeah She used to She would call women broads Yeah And so it
was like one of those things where it was like you watch old movies and [ __ ] you’re like “Oh these broads blah blah
blah.” Yeah It’s like it’s just one of those things where it’s like people will take it as derogatory Yeah
For me it’s like a friendly fun word I never have thought of it as derogatory ever So about like Yeah I don’t know
It’s just one of those words where it’s like what why why did you ask Well I
mean literally Yeah The first time I met him he called me a broad so well both of
us broads But I was there’s more depth to that though cuz they were in the same room and he was walking in there and he
literally thought it was her sister I thought you were either my sister or I
thought you were a person I had already met before and there’s history Your back
was towards the door So I walked in the room and I saw Stephanie Is there any
left There’s there’s a couple there too And I thought you were Take take them now if you want So I was like “Oh hey
what are you broads up to?” And then you turned around and you were like “Oh.” And I was like “Good stuff.”
The question stands Yeah Like the question did not go away The funny thing
is I’m cur I’m curious like if you want to go in and you see a couple women there what what’s the easy what’s the
thing Would you say “Hey what are you girls up to?” But it’s also better than saying “What are you [ __ ] up to?”
Not really Well had you ever heard it before If it if it was if it was anyone else never even heard broad story would
be a fine question to ask That’s interesting because obviously I wouldn’t second guess you on asking me that kind
of question but for somebody who was like doesn’t know who you are She didn’t
even know like the broads She’s like you just opened her up She learned about broads Those classic movies and things
there’s this like Yeah That’s why I found it funny when the shock value of it is Yeah It’s a good question
It was just funny when Sierra came to me and she was like “So um why why did he
call me abroad?” I was like “No [ __ ] You go.” And I’m
like “Exactly.” All right So okay Um yeah The next you have to ask you know
you can go in anywhere you want Oh hang on Chat GPT and all this is giving me apparently broads have negative
connotations Okay Okay Jail It’s straight to jail Oh my god
Negative connotations outdated usage You’re in my world right now You can’t do that Hang on Chris Hold on Hang on
World This is the pug in the potato is cool with it No hold on No Chris is
going to re-education camp Alternative terms Instead of using broad it is more
respectful and appropriate to use the term women or girls What are you women
up to That would sound creepier That would sound creepy if Chris walked in there and said “Hey what are you women
up to?” That would be weird That would be so weird That would come across as so creepy Yes What’s your question What is
a woman That’s funny I just think it’s hilarious
them being like I just love that AI is like [ __ ] sweating probably It’s like
safe response call them girls or lady to casually cuss with like talking to me
last night Casually cussed when I was like meaning the word damn Damn But still man
sounds like a damn good situation Bro didn’t yours I was sucking So I forgot
to mention this Matthew but when I was using chat GBT they referred to me as bro
after a term like after a medical question And I think it was after like a medical question or a conversation about
medical stuff and like when you signed in and created did you create an account
and it it knows your woman Yes I did No the reason I would hope so cuz they know
that I have a daughter That’s a hallucination and a [ __ ] Yes On the part of AI
Yeah I thought they were just trying to be cool Like they were trying to No they were They they messed up by not doing
the female uh replace that with the female version of it They didn’t say broad Yes they didn’t say broad as as
somebody So you’re Sierra You’re you know you’re young You’re you’re 20 years old and you’re growing up with part of
the part of the generation You know what What gen is she I don’t even know Z Okay
You’re Gen Z Azizer Azizer Gen Z How do you feel about a lot of the mainstream
like stuff that’s How do you feel about like yourself and culture Like what do you feel like the mainstream is versus
yourself How do you line up Um do you agree with it I mean I would say that there’s some
like mainstream ideals that I don’t like really agree with but I mean overall I
feel like I align with most of what some of what my generation like might believe
in But like I don’t think that I really look like you know people’s
like idea of what people of my generation look like I don’t know how to explain but yeah Yeah No I think I hear
just I think maybe uh an example of that is just like whenever I asked you to play a song that was your favorite and I
I was very it was not what I expected to hear as far you know
but yeah Oh there’s none on the left Damn
Yeah Damn They’re quick There it is So yeah No Oh no She’s she’s a germaphobe of the
highest degree She’s she’s a germaphobe It’s crazy Don’t care Yeah So no Yeah
Next Who’s the next question for is not a germaphobe by the way No he’s not No
Um so I was going to ask you what is it When did you get involved with crypto
Right I heard a little bit That’s a good question When Oh snap Or like you know how did you get like introduced to it or
what made you want to be like “Oh I want to get into this.” Like it was 2017 So that was in and like I so it’s 2017 I’d
heard of like actually getting like I I mean I’d heard about it back like
Bitcoin came out in like 2008 after the sub prime market crash Satoshi Namoto it
is I don’t know if you know the history of Bitcoin Probably not Maybe not It’s it’s actually quite fascinating like so
there’s a huge housing market crash happened in 2008 and an anonymous white
paper was released like white paper like anonymous like you know document that outlined the idea for uh basically
bitcoin as a financial instrument that was uh against financial institutions
and they couldn’t find you know find a way to whatever people money that’s so in 2017 it was I was literally at that I
was listening to a radio show and I knew about Bitcoin and they’re just casually talking about it and I was just like “Oh
yeah I thought about messing around with the crypto and I just at that point I’m like “Oh yeah I’m going to look into it.” And start messing around with it
and that was like 2017 and yeah and then like many things I get into you know I
get really into them and but I was like it’s 2017 and I know I mean yeah and I
know a lot about it I don’t know if there’s like things you want to know but it was like 2017 It was casually uh
driving to work and I remember it was like in the morning radio show and I remember Junior Miller mentioned something about the value of Bitcoin I’m
like “Oh yeah.” So and from there it just kind of opened the door to me
really getting into it to where I don’t know if you know I I even made a cryptocurrency for our podcast called
Mamecoin Oh wow Yeah No I didn’t Oh yeah Yeah Get that get that Mamecoin man Yeah
So there’s an actual like Mike and me coin Okay Yeah But yeah So yeah Yeah
That’s uh you know that’s that’s how if there’s any specific thing about it or
just curious about it in general Um I was just curious in general So yeah I mean I guess if you have other questions
I you can ask me I know more I know too much about it
Okay And then for you I have a kind of hypothetical question Hypothetical I like that Um I mean it’s a very simple
question Yeah If you could change your birthday to any other day what day would
you choose and why October 31st cuz it’s my favorite holiday I [ __ ] love Halloween Oh okay Damn it Right I mean
you know I was kind of looking for someone that would have been like “Oh like you know like uh like February 29th
like a leap year birthday.” I was hoping you would have answered with something like that But that’s an interesting thing to say Well you didn’t have any
hopes for my answer Why would you impose hoping on him like that Yeah I know That’s that’s my birthday Yeah it’s a
good question You weren’t prepared for him to have an answer immediately like that huh I mean I was but you know I was just
hoping that it wasn’t dense enough He let you down It wasn’t meaningful enough and esoteric and deep enough Yeah Yeah
Yeah That Yeah It needed to be more deep and dense not like something that I have a childhood memory attachment to and
like something that has deep sentimental So you have a construct kind of an idea of what you hoped his answer would be I
think Bear wants to go in your lap I think you might want to do more than that in my lap I’m worried Yeah Bear’s going to your leg Bear’s going to hump
your leg Oh boy Interesting Interesting Interesting Mhm We’re having fun I’m
Jimmy Glick What about this one Okay So okay What Oh okay So my question for you
is also like a hypothetical type question So if you could go back to any
point in your life and change any event that happened like big or small without it affecting the outcome of your life
like what would you want to change It could be something like oh getting donuts instead of like I don’t know
muffins on like March 31st like 200 seven or something
But this is a tough
one I would say
like having any kind of conversation with dad before I saw him
last before like the whole COVID thing happened because obviously like there
was a time when CO happened and like they had us like all on lockdown
like if you didn’t have like an like an assistant whenever he was in the hospital job Yeah Yeah cuz like they
told us like she couldn’t even visit them And so I basically was like “Well I’m going to do the right thing and I’m
going to like basically stay at the little house.” Yeah And like not be around them So everybody quarantine like
getting anyone sick Yeah It was a mess So then he obviously he got sick
and went to the hospital and that’s when they were like “Oh you know he has to be by himself Like you can’t no one can
stay with him.” So the last conversation I like remember having was like “Hey Dad
you know whenever you’re gone like I’d like to have your wallet Like that’s one thing that I want to like have from
you.” Which was a weird thing for me to even say cuz like I never really talk like that Yeah cuz deep down you wanted
the truck Well technically I have the truck Okay there we go
Um but no that was like the last conversation like that I remember having with him in person So I would say like
actually having more time with him I think she was looking for something fun
I’m joking That’s terri I’m joking No but I mean it’s like it’s that’s what I would choose It’s a good answer Yeah
that’s a real answer That’s what I wanted It wasn’t getting donuts on a random day Yeah
No I know she appreciated that one So you set her up No I like it That’s awesome Well it’s
getting kind of late right Um we normally do this thing like at we end with re recommendations of the week
where each of us literally recommend anything at all And um so I guess if
someone wants to start so you can see like the what’s your wreck for the week Um recommendation of the week Uh let’s
see I’m about I don’t want to I was about to go to one I feel like I’ve already said
before and I and I don’t want to say you don’t want to piggyback on yourself No one thing I feel like we’ve had some
we’ve had we’ve done so many episodes that there’s it’s it’s getting hard to make sure we don’t piggy back and uh
Well I mean I have one of them I can circle back to you Yeah Awesome So I would recommend to anybody you can piggy
back I would recommend to anybody if y’all want to have a dessert y’all should eat
a blueberry buttermilk pie because I made two more of those like yesterday
and they and you brought them there So no my family ate them Okay so funny story Hold on Hold on Okay so kind of
funny story So I have this great aunt great great aunt right who just turned 90 And so she was having a pretty old
Yes she was having a birthday party today So me and Stephanie like I asked
Stephanie I was like “Hey like what do I bring to a birthday party for a 90-year-old woman and we were going back
and forth and I was like “You know what I’ll just bring her like something that you [ __ ] up.” I’ll tell you that cuz they’ll tell you They’ll be like “It’s
good but it it’s not.” Yeah So So like we were going back So we
were going back and forth and I was like “Okay you know what I’m going to like make her like one of those pies that we made cuz they turned out really good And
so I told my family I was like “Yeah I’m making this pie for you know our aunt.” And they’re like “Oh okay Well we want
one too.” And I was like “Okay I’ll make two of them.” So I made two and basically it was going to be a surprise
birthday party for my great aunt But she ended up getting sick with pneumonia So we cancelled the birthday party today
And then it was kind of funny cuz my family you know we we were
hold on hold on It’s not that part No it’s not It’s not that part that was funny but
like my family um like we were eating one pie Like I told them I was like “Hey like this pie is for us This pie is for
her Don’t touch this one pie.” And so my family was like “It’s cancelled Well you know that sucks.” They’re like “But
anyway we can eat both pies now you know so that’s nice Trying to just get that pie.” Yeah So both pies are gone already
We ate both pies Well hopefully hopefully Grant lives to taste
one of your pies Yeah I really hope so It would be really upsetting if she didn’t Yeah Yeah It would be my
recommendation of the week Quit quit trying to get to the front row and just enjoy your spot Enjoy where you’re at
quit trying to you know we’re all everybody’s in the you know a lot of us are in the rat race and don’t realize it
And there’s there’s no point in you know you’re living in the good old days This is it So just you know stop stop trying
to get to a place where you think everything’s going to be better and it’s all going to be blue skies and sunshine
because you know that doesn’t happen signs and lollipops
So um my recommendation which might have been a recommendation in the past I
don’t know for sure You’re open to anything as long as you haven’t done before Every day once a day give
yourself a little present Give I love it That’s the first time anybody’s That’s
all I love it I’m pretty sure I’ve said it before No you haven’t Or or in parks and Rex term treat yourself Matthew’s
never said that That’s awesome I love that’s a No the thing is I hope I have because that that’s my wife That’s
nowhere for each other I don’t think you ever have That’s a Yes I have never done
it What a quote Yes What a quote Because the thing is is that it have if we were
to repeat ourselves it the [ __ ] would the room would implode Yeah So if we would already said it you know what I
mean If we pou oursel the room would just So no we’ve never said that before What’s yours
Uh I love silences This right now reminds me of the Pulp Fiction line where it’s like where they talk about
maybe some kind of they talk about the sneaky reference to a wife No there’s no
wife in this sarcastic There’s no wife in this This is serious Okay Okay We’re
getting We’re getting some serious information Yeah Trying to find trying to find a way to say the seriousness of
it It’s more existential and individual than that There’s much more gravity to
this than there’s always
an excuse to not wash your Yeah Be open
to fully fully learning about
yourself in a way to where ex you know
accepting you are who you are regardless of anything But like that society might
think of thing like might have labels on how they do things They’re not selling sexual or anything weird like that but
just like uh everyone’s unique
and labels on things and understanding scientifically of things don’t really matter but be open to learning and
accepting just categorically the genetics of who you are Well it’s like uh kind of like
Einstein’s quote about everybody everybody’s a genius in their own right
Yeah But if you judge a fish by his ability to climb a tree he’ll live his whole life thinking failure Yeah Exactly
So yeah that’s a good one Yeah I like it Be you Stop trying to conform to everybody else’s [ __ ] or to to try and
fit it be a a round a round peg in a square hole or whatever Yeah Take it many ways Be I love it Yeah that’s great
Well there’s only there’s only one thing to say Did Chris do one Oh I did Oh you
Yeah Yeah I don’t have anything about to be like man say but you have to have one
I I don’t know It could be anything Don’t simple have anything That’s it
Yeah Sometimes if you don’t if you don’t have something to bring then don’t bring anything at all No sometimes sometimes
it’s better to don’t force situation I think I’ve said don’t force it before So we’re just whenever you don’t have one
we’re just going to say moment of silence Don’t force it No we’ll just say that’s the mo that’s we’ll just say bang
bang bang
[Music]
greetings traveler you’ve just landed on the mike in Me podcast but fear not for this is no mistake no fault in the stars
no glitch in The Matrix no I’m afraid this has all been planned predetermined by
pugs so fear not uh pull up a chair and join us as we find our way together for
you among friends and uh I I
I yeah yeah how’s everybody doing you’re the closest I think we go
in order of proximity to the person who has the question I’m doing it’s 44 degrees in Cincinnati OH he didn’t mean
the question okay and we got a high of 56 and a low of 40 so they just got to
drop four degrees Cincinnati Ohio okay for all of our listeners in Cincinnati the softmax clan oh yeah they are a clan
uh well oh we’re get distance from that quickly
they are a a friendly group of people we’ll edit that part they’re Pizza Boys
a collection yeah there yeah isn’t that funny though how you just got to man you can’t say that any you know there’s just
words that are just like wow H but then there’s some that are just happily
welcom back and he like okay is there like a public record that they release
to let us know words that are cool now and not cool now oh yes wait did Chris
make a offensive joke I want to I don’t want to miss that one no yeah you just said that like words that came back and
I said I think he means like regarded things like that [ __ ] oh
well that’s one that is true I that a word that has come back that’s but it’s definitely more welcome now than it was
a year ago yeah I feel like it’s incredibly is there any other words like that technically you know [ __ ] is
[ __ ] gay is becoming a bit more like welcome in just like the joking sense not the hateful sense well that’s the
thing though again but I hear it’s also way that people describe a sexuality which I didn’t even know that what what
were you about to say oh I was going to say [ __ ] actually being like I remember the first time I realized like
it’s it’s used in like a mechanical sense for timing on like cars or engines
when you [ __ ] the timing versus advancing the timing and I had somebody tell me one time they were like well did
you [ __ ] the timing on it and I was like wait so that’s an actual technical term I’m like did you actually I’m like did you are you telling me I I flubbed
this up and they’re like no is the time is the timing [ __ ] or is it Advanced and I’m like what and they’re like so
then I’m like oh uh I don’t I don’t know huh so that’s funny it’s like you you know the mechanics are about to be
pissed like guys have to rewrite a bunch of literature that’s the last thing we’re doing they’re just I bet they had
a using a whole bunch of words I don’t understand right now so I’m going take it his
disrespect [ __ ] did you just call me [ __ ] oh and every now and then I hear a word
I have to make a note like you hear those words like wait people we can say that again now okay yeah but then you
hear but then there’s so many like man a lot of the new the a word I don’t think
like are getting pretty like the AG another one can I can
I say something that I know the British cigarette word I don’t okay Co what say Mike yeah yeah I was gonna say I’m
already over the I didn’t think I would it it didn’t really matter to me at all I didn’t care
but the whole they not like us the from the Kendrick my God is that played out so fast
everywhere you see it’s like people are commenting it on random [ __ ] or like my disconnection from things so kind of
catch me up yeah okay so the song Kendrick Lamar’s diss track to Drake at one point in it you know he’s saying
they not like us which it’s a cool song I like the song it’s a great song but
people the way people use it just constantly using it it’s like it’s just so played out to the point where it’s
like I don’t even want to hear the song now nobody can nobody can actually use that in any likeing whatever meaningful
way anymore because of I mean well [ __ ] Cala Harris used it in a was it
like a speech or one of her ads or something she’s like they not like us honey she was doing some interview she
was
timate had some like some trendy intern wrote that for we’re desperate uh throw
this out there yeah and two just I don’t know it’s it’s just funny it’s it doesn’t like it’s not like a huge deal
it’s just funny how you you know how you notice how quickly something can go from being like you could care less and not really care at all but then you just see
people using it everywhere and then it’s just like oh man that’s this is yeah I mean it makes me kind of think it was a
totally disconnected conversation about a motivation to create a new
language to have a we a way to communicate in the future without AI knowing but maybe we just need one so
that we can communicate with normal logical people and and everyone else in the world have to worry about their
noise that’s true sounds like you saying they not like us no there’s a joke that exists where
like oh yeah that exists it’s called this almost like what the the theologians or whatever did with uh with
Zen in a way when they brought it to the west or whatever I don’t know if I use that word Theologian is that that’s a
that’s a that’s a correct word yeah I don’t know if I don’t know if they would be philosoph ver more than the I think
theologi studies of religion or theology yes that so those are them yes correct
so those people was like when they brought it over whatever and the it’s like they purposely muddied the Waters
of Zen to make it harder for the lay person to be initiated in a sense so it’s kind of what you said about the
language how the language was intentionally flubbed up so people wouldn’t be able to easily understand it
and for instance the one of the best ways of um
uh the best ways of seeing it is the to Tao yes it’s actually da yeah it’s dowo
and that’s that was like one of the you know but whenever it is to it’s like there’s an apostrophe that is to
whenever whenever it’s just Tao it means Dow and sureit it but it’s but it’s
interesting just because kind of what what you were saying is kind of pretty much we’ve kind of done that people have
done that in a way no cuz it’s funny like I was Lally having this thought yes like last night I was watching that
movie about uh Enlightenment just watching that just the whole idea of Enlightenment
and honestly for me it’s not something that you can just have a universal
definition I think it’s like you know it when you see it almost I don’t you know
that’s that’s my take on it but but whatever it is that you can see how society and culture
has tried to turn it into a product in ways that you see in videos and self
help people trending things where they tried to take little bite-sized morsels of of the general idea of it and then
people be like oh yeah you know I have this daily practice I meditate for 30 minutes um I’m doing this I’m doing I’m
oh I’m uh I’m micro doing you know there like into doing all these things and at
the end it’s like yeah they’re not g to get you there like it’s like you’ve commoditized and turned something into
product that really it to get there is the who knows how you get there but it’s
I don’t know and and for me I just came up to my definition of
it is it for me again almost just like a full rational acceptance of real of your
reality just the way it is and that’s just mine you know but yeah it it just
that whole idea just came to mind because you can see how they peace mail and try and sell things as a product and
just having a nooran enlightened mind and you can see out makes money and [ __ ]
it’s the same thing to do with the religion and things you know it’s like there’s truth and things but you can see
how cap we say capitalism b a free market Society does these things I think
what happens to did you have anything to say no I think what happens is that it’s like with anything is anything we do and
Alan Watts has talked about it it’s like when we’re a kid it’s like it’s it’s one-upmanship and it’s spiritual
one-upmanship and sometimes and it is what you’re saying it’s like they end up people sometimes do use stuff like that
as as a revolving door it’s like you said like oh this is what I do this is my meditation practice this is that and
where it’s like you keep going round and round and it’s like you’re not really you know and I think they’ll be beneficial I think they might help them
but it’s sometimes chasing it doing those things is like you purposely chasing that and it’s getting further
from you when you’re doing that rather than when you let go of that [ __ ] and you realize I can really do whatever and
me it has made me think of the people who start the gym at the new year like they’ll try this out but they’re not
committed to it and they’re they’re trying out a mini version of it and they’re not actually diving deep into it
for real you know yeah but
see yeah like I don’t know I’m trying to it’s like I no he’s deep in thought I want to hear it no I mean know I was I
was listening to like what you were saying about it but um yeah know like people it was like I
was trying to think of an example of it where it was like you know like what you’re saying is
like if you do this thing and you do this thing and you do this thing then you’ll get to this place and it’s like
and it’s not that it’s like it’s the in between things and all of that it was
like yes these practices are all like part of kind of Journey destination the
journey you know and they will help you but it’s like until you like gain that perspective or whatever of like oh these
are how all of these these things intermingle than like you really are just like [ __ ] doing these things
yeah that you know and they’re not you know it’s not like it’s going to harm you but it’s like if you’re just sitting
there banging your head against the wall like why am I you know this and that or you know yeah it just made me think yeah
you can keep going no no you go ahead just like when I say Journey destinations like shows or books or
things to be like oh the ending was kind of crap but the journey there was great or like Zen con it’s the it’s not the
answer to the question it’s trying to figure it out that’s the enlightening aspect it’s like showing your work or
like the understanding like oh that’s exactly I knew the I knew the quote I
knew the whatever but then one day something happens and you’re like oh that’s what the [ __ ] it meant and then
it’s like yeah exactly because I was thinking you know PE people have you know
Rel whatever Enlightenment that’s I would say people would only believe there have some of Enlightenment by just
observing them their behavior in the way that they seem at peace or whatever it is to where I I think it’s almost like
you whatever Journey life gives you everyone’s just different so different
and some you could say it’s easier more difficult perspective wise and you can gauge that however but I think the
people who persist in still find a way to have a positive outlook and be
accepting and you know not defea in life that some of these practices that they sell are things that they Ed as as tools
or as mechanisms to get through the struggle of life and that these whether
it’s meditation all these different tools still that but that they used them
and just like but it wasn’t just doing them that got them enlightened it’s it was their existence and their struggle
of figuring out life that that helped them get to the point of of that you know it’s almost like a yeah like a like
people are looking for a cheat code or a life hack or there yeah where it’s like you know you pop in the game genie you
put this in and it’s like oh [ __ ] yeah I feel better yeah I did this this and this and now I’m good like my conscience
is clear the perfect example of that not being possible people who in the lotto like if you look at the stats on how
their quality of life and how it goes getting all the money in the world doesn’t make solve their problems like
things don’t normally go well they blow it all or any number of things to where it’s like that’s a perfect example cuz
so much of life’s stress is financial but learning to manage life you could be
struggling financially all the time but there’s a way to be happier than the richest person in the world yeah and I
was were you going to say a quote yeah oh I was going to say it’s like what you uh the one point you had made about
which I it kind of made me think of stuff along the same lines but you were saying about um you know about which you
could argue some you about perspective of like somebody’s life being harder easier right and I think that’s
something that’s interesting right cuz you know often times you’ll look at somebody who you perceive that like their life is easy because they’ve
always grown up with everything they have a trust fund they can get they’ve been able to get anything they wanted to
snap of their fingers but then again for people like that it’s like that part of their life is easy but then there’s a
part of their life that’s hard because it’s like there’s certain things that you just can’t get through those means
you’ve been able to do all your life and so that lack of control is harder for that person to accept probably than what
you’ve grown up with with the feeling like man I’m helpless and this and that because then eventually you learn that
your helplessness is only so much in some situations and you think okay well actually I can do stuff I have dominion
over my own body and psyche and like I I can actually change like Locus the control thing we were talking about like
is it the outside or outside world affecting me or is it um you know and so
I I do think that even though it’s like you when you look at both ends of the spectrum of somebody who’s what we would
consider you know in a really bad way in life and you know versus a really good
way in life that it’s like it’s hard to say that one of them’s really better off because while this guy’s better off in
this way this other one over here has a much better look Outlook on the things that prove to be truly important in life
yeah which is like your own selfworth and like what you were saying it’s like if I can if I can be happy in these
circumstances and I can learn to still be a good person then it’s like while on the other hand these other people you
can’t buy personality you can’t buy enjoyment of life and you know well this
it’s called ex MDMA okay well you can I guess you temporarily yeah temp you
could yeah walls and stuff you touch things I’m sure pretty like yeah this is nice I just always remember in that uh
Get Him to the Greek movie where he smoked the Jeffrey yeah shout out P Diddy shout out Russ GR where Russ Chris
hen sent me a some interview with him recently that I haven’t listened to yet but yeah that’s funny he’s like a
Christian now has like a huge turnaround so Russell that kick for a years so
pretty cool but yeah no I just remember that scene in that where Jonah Hill smokes the the Jeffrey or whatever and
he’s like he’s like rubbing the the like mink wall or whatever he’s got the Shag
wall Jeffrey you got to rub the furry wall Yeah man so we’ll uh never actually
watched that movie dude it’s a great movie cuz I know it was a it was a spin-off kind of from uh forgetting sh
Marshall that his character right it was good yes he was the same character yeah he
was the so spin-off being the that character got his own separate movie yeah he started in C introduced him as a
cameo or whatever he was just the that’s a rare currence for a side character in
a movie to then maybe it’s not I mean we literally just talked about it last week it’s not rare at all
the Fus of M Marshals that’s an outlier yeah no saying it’s not a yeah but we
know everyone that it’s been there’s there’s two because because you’re Gina
I remember I was sitting there dinner with you guys and Gina said I like the fug I’m not I’m trying to make fun of
her um I like The Fugitive um I think it’d be great if they made uh I I would
watch the movie if Tommy the Jones character had another one and I’m pretty sure in that same conversation said I
really enjoyed forgetting Z Marshall the uh the Rockstar character I would enjoy a movie with him yeah this was this was
dinner last month this was last month’s dinner yeah yeah I love how you’re like I’m not I’m not trying to make fun of
your no because because at the end of the day it was it was more Chris but Gina Des by being a mom who happened to
be preparing hamburgers one day yes to where Chris saw the opportunity to I’m going to make this fi at hamburgers for
the first time in his life because he’s say this table with us and I’d like to see how he plays that sitting down gets
the hamburger passed to him is he could try it so thank you guys thank you g eat this eat this boy eat this [ __ ] so uh
I guess we should go ahead and get into our main stay segment which is the movies of the week movies of the month

boy funny story about this movie he actually killed all those people is that
a funny story yeah well it’s a funny it’s a funny fact about it now I think it’s
hilarious this reminds to be that one trailer that you showed where this showing everything blowing up the
motorcycle stun look at that sweater yep that’s that’s baller let’s drop these
Mac 11s and fight like man you have a final fight in that outfit I’m on
board Lone Wolf McQuade starring Chuck Norris David car Barbara Carrera and
Leon Isaac Kennedy I think I think he should have stuck with his real name Carlos Carlos noris would have he would
have done would have done it much better the next movie you could pull up a trailer if you’d like Merry Christmas Mr
Lawrence oh good job
good job yep you’re familiar the torrent site is
my old uh Halo tag uh Vaguely Familiar but uh is that David Bowie wasid Bo it
is yeah exactly exactly that’s a good job flowers once every 5 years that’s
all man right there If foren Flowers again Crush my
heart once there was a place where the Earth was soaked in Blood and
Tears and that is where the brightest flowers [Music]
grew they cut his that’s quite a trailer how would you please not
guilty I’m not a criminal I am a soldier with his Majesty’s Army
you master us your past history my past is my business beautiful
[Music] English yeah sh good David Bo is still alive
with this I’m sure he making fun of how bad his acting was
at this point his life will be carried out without delay
what kind of man is he is he a close friend of yours no he’s not a close friend
no than will the soundtrack go quickly they were a nation of anxious
people and they could do nothing individually live in the past these
fers could help the L apparently I don’t know what to make of you
w you’re either very clever or your bloody stupid bloody stupid well I’ve tried the

Christmas I don’t know was a good Christmas wasn’t
[Music] it Merry Christmas Mr
Rin they were all Honorable Men but oh what Deeds could be done in the name of
Honor how’ you like it mer chrristmas was it was it kind of bad yeah you cuz
SP a lot deep and David Bo trying to think if that was one that like even the
production like had all kinds of kind of rough you um we’re going to take a trip
here to probably my favorite Stephen King movie um
Christine this was like a great movie this is yeah and what was the was the
thing I saw the if they did a remake of if they did a remake of Christine today
yeah the car would be was it like a 2003 [ __ ] Chrysler Sebring or some
[ __ ] sounds cool yeah because in the movie it’s a 58 Plymouth Fury
so haven’t seen this so it’s about a car Christine’s a car oh dude it’s such
it’s it’s like I said it’s probably my favorite good adaptation it’s a great
one of the few good adaptations yeah you ever owned a car before no I just got my
license
about her name is Christine I like that I think Kujo came
out this year too it did yeah uh good year for Stephen King
I saw you guys at the football game how’ you forget that car fix St
like that oh plain oldfashioned hard work huh ever since he bought that car
he’s been obsessed with it and you know what else they told us the man who owned that
car last died in it what do you know about that car I know that the guy who
own the car before AR he his daughter choked to death in Christine
what that car I swear it’s the car ask Christine coming oh
Cherry that’s funny you know cuz I I Hur you was total well after I cleaned up
the broken glass it wasn’t so bad so what if you he fix it up you know and he just
comes back and does it again he won’t do it again arguably the hardest car like in
any movie like scariest [ __ ] car in my opinion yeah just cuz it has all blacked out windows like you couldn’t
see the [Music] driver was that Harry Dean Stanton
[Music]
yeah that looks [Music]
badass yeah this movie I’m sure they would have been expensive without it but this movie
definitely did not help the prices of50 pouth
[Music] Furies wait did John Carpenter direct this uh he might have did it say that no
no but it it connected it to Halloween but it could have been yeah John
Carpenters there you go dude it’s a great movie yeah dude that’s
cool nice yeah I don’t care if you don’t like scary [ __ ] you’ll like that I ain’t trying to live my life for
free the dead zone is this another Stephen King uh it is I believe there also a TV show on
sci-fi for maybe let’s see oh yeah the Christopher Watkins
movie yeah have you seen it no I haven’t it’s pretty good
viom no Viacom did they have mountains in vion
too baby face Chris walking if the future were in your
hands da screaming the house is burning would you
change it hurry up it’s not too late touch this man’s hand and you are in the
grip of The Dead Zone I’ve had another episode only the imagination of author
stepen King could take you there Johnny wait with a power that alters the future
lives of those you love you want to kill your own son I want you out of here I’m scared dad or of those you fear I had a
vision that I am going to be president of the United States someday and nobody
I mean nobody going to stop me is it a power for good or for evil if God has
seen fit to bless you with this gift you should use it bless me you’re a
devil sent from me who are you who sent you I’m scared
s what’s happening to me we’re going to get married Johnny don’t leave me
please don’t you see how clear it all is not only can you see the future I can
change it SK I was there I saw him put your hand
on the scanning screen and you’ll go down in history with me I saw his face I
stood there I did
nothing oh yeah I keep forgetting to watch this movie but is it as good Sten
King The Dead Zone it’s pretty good I think I liked personally I prefer Christine oh yeah David kerberg dude
what he’s he’s one of my movies F here the director yep last two movies um
Sudden Impact okay CL Eastwood yeah this is the dirty hairy right uhhuh this is
where the line came from I think do you feel lucky do you feel lucky it might have been cuz we talked
about I think it might be like the trailer no it wouldn’t have no it wouldn’t have been I bet the trailer says it if yeah
if there Sudden Impact yeah guesse
trailer 123 120 we’ll do this
one Dirty Harry is at it again in Sudden
Impact yeah is what you doing you pig sucker you boys put those guns down say
what where not just going to let you walk out of here who is we sucker Smith
Wesson and
me go ahead make my day he that
mhm then right this the other one might be a different movie it might be it been make
my day might have been the one I was thinking
of have 22 oh no it’s not it’s a 43 oh was it that one was cuz he used it in
the very last the very last make my day in case I didn’t hear it the first time
I should look like an old Ruger the very last in the very last like dirty hairy
it’s it’s an automatic 44 that’s I mean it’s day and ages where
they could just let you know this is going to be the catchphrase and you’re
it you know it was a good one but like they said it twice in the trailer well you know it’s funny too is that it’s
like they call him the dirty hairy movies and all of that but like his name
was like at no point in any of the was like his name’s Harry Callahan yeah they
even they don’t call him dirty hairy no wants yeah it’s like if they do you know
it may be like a newspaper headline or something like that in the you know in if you look Clos in the background and
have a microscope out you can see dirty are yeah it’s like yeah they never but they were always known as the dirty
hairy movies or whatever dir yeah go drinko Zas last movie The
keep that’s for I think this is also had the coolest
like cover art out of all of the movies yeah I was like oh Michael man directed it so that was pretty cool finding that
out I didn’t know he was a man was he’s
Michael I think we’re all Michael Matthew I don’t oh he get this P he has SN this
p po
[Music] yeah that dude’s just trying to hold the
place together welcome to my Airbnb who knows for
[Music]
sure that’s Mama who is that this place was not bu oh snap
[Laughter] what’s going
on yeah not stay here
good always watching some trailers that’s our homeboy you Joe Rogan on the
page she’s a MC dagger [ __ ] out of here no fre back by yeah whatever kills us
gets in anyway nothing we do no security
Works what’s happening to [Music]
me go
out the keep he said this is this is pretty cool
I was finding out that Michael man made like a three-hour version that he
wanted to release like that was his vision but you obviously they cut it to
like an hour and a half and there’s like no you know no way to see the original
verion oh yeah like the directors yeah like there wasn’t even a directors C but yeah there was it’s like oh you know I’m
sure that’s pretty common but as you know that’s uh an article I was
reading had that so it’s like well then there must be must be more value just because it’s an interesting movie like
that that keep you know I feel like it’ be cool just to see how how that world’s explored more explored more uh part of
uh explored more explored more what state is that in or next oh explored more Oklahoma yes that is that is true
yeah I know that was a good one thank you it’s a good one sir now what do you got what do you got take us through take
us through take us through any use the bathroom or anything before before this happens uh I guess maybe I mean I kind
of we might should okay I’ll do that real quick let’s go use the bathroom together cuz this this could be about
three hours eagley Michael we’re back man I
I’m running thing Save Tonight I got I have a mouse Matthew gave me a mouse
look at that and Well Done sir I have I have a keyboard so now this is this is
now yeah take us away Matthew yeah I just have to make I just have to say
some this I just said Eagle I Michael because you’re able to see this tiny writing from over there yes uh and then
Chris said save tonight and so I I happen to get that joke is because in
the maybe end of the 90s early 2000s there’s a one hit wonder that had the song save tonight fight the break of
dawn come tomorrow but the artist’s name was eagley Cherry
wow what a deep cut joke dude I know okay you you have the sickest
references dude that’s Shan always coming through in a big way but see I
justd put best chryst will do those he honestly does them all the time it’s just they’ll just be casually under his
breath and just like yeah if yeah it’s great whether they get noticed or not
yeah it doesn’t matter that’s a true humorist so s okay my movies yeah3 watch
this appendectomy yeah yeah we’re GNA start off with the David cronberg film uh called video
Drome which I’m just G to say we’re going to watch all hour and 27 minutes of it it’s not very long it’s pretty
short one uh and control hallucination he was like
do you remember when we watched that film why would anybody watch a scum show like video drone why did you watch it
Max business reasons sure what about the other reasons oh they’re putting
subliminal message that’s that idea is Max Ren is vitim I
woke up with a headache he has been exposed to video drone I’ve been hallucinating for a while ever since
what since I first saw video drone his brain is is already receiving video
[Music] images I think that massive doses of
vide Drome signal will ultimately produce and control
hallucination to the point that it will change human [Music]
reality great tra soon his Visions will coales and become uncontrollable sounds
like me talking about AI video Dr
Max please and Debbie Harry from Blondie come to me
now come to there’s a Time the scene where it’s like coming out of like a TV
screen thought he was about to do something totally different with that te dud returned it’s about that too
normality television can change your mind video Drome will change your
body long live the new flesh it will shatter your
reality wa no go back go back go in not out dude this is a great trailer
dude it really is a good trailer of scanners I’m glad I recom to a theater near you from Universal
Pictures drones David to do that and it’s coming out that’s a bad relatively
early David Cronenberg man he does horr and just weird like that he’s known for
but like practical effects doing weird like yeah is he the one that did like hell Razer and [ __ ] sounds like some
hell no he didn’t do it but did fair to think of it it makes sense now too because him being in the having
something to do with the dead zone or whatever because that was there’s some weird scenes it’s like whoa that’s kind
of nuts yeah yeah all right we’ll go lighten things up a little bit little movie came out this year called Monty
Python’s meaning of life
I can’t remember does this have the scene where the girl walks over the flowers own existence maybe this is like
their like sketch comedy movie so this is like the one where they had I think they maybe had a couple Now for
Something Completely Different I think meaning of life is also like a collection of sketches can be yours yes
it’s all here Y in a new unabridged translation by Monty Python I mean
what’s it all about philosophy oh that sounds wonderful is that a sport no it’s
more of an attempt to construct a viable hypothesis to explain the meaning of life including why you were born and
what are you doing this morning it’s a birth wonderful what you can do nowadays what do I do nothing dear you’re not
qualified why things don’t always work out the Mill’s closed we’re
destitute no option but to sell you all for scientific [Laughter]
experiments wouldn’t you like to know your s do it why people who don’t speak
your language want to hurt [Music] you why you like sex sex sex sex where
we how to talk to waiters ah good afternoon sir how are we today better
better better get a bucket for throw them where diseases come from Hello uh can we have
your liver what you know it’s it’s reddish brown it’s sort of uh yeah yeah I know
what it is but I’m using it and why we’ve all got to go
sometime please this is Mr death I am the
G Reaper well that’s cast rather a Gloom over the
evening they haven’t said much about the meaning of life so far have they don’t
let the meaning of life pass you by you ever wanted to know what it’s all about
nope is God really let Monty Python explain it all for
you in the film that proves once and for all that there is death after life shall
we take our car you why not why not the meaning of
life Heaven and Hell the the days where there’s like SK comedy group like that
have a movie do you be excited about like that this is a cool it’s cool I think that comedy I think I think
British comedy just makes you could say the same thing in English and it’s it’s
funny but it’s probably 10 times more funny in whenever you hear brti for me I
just for whatever reason the because it sounds so aristocratic oh yeah and for
like do that make sense no yeah no it’s like his comedy I’ll F I will laugh my
ass off watching him in toasta London or um what’s it called the theivery yeah
because it’s so aristocratic and then all of a sudden it’s like at the same time it be an absolute buffoon yeah it
does make it funnier but also there’s like they definitely were making types of jokes that weren’t being made over
here on top of it on top of taking something making it naturally funnier that way you see that name uh animation
special sequence by Terry Gilling yeah Terry Gilling all right so that’s a good nice
one and we’ll do another comy I’m I kind of want to throw you know these movies actually came out 83 the original
vacation yeah that’s funny all right [Music]
the one that started them all this summer when you think vacation think National Lampoon Vacation been there see
the real [Music] America hey Underpants hey
y it’s friendly I’m okay I’m okay don’t you want to look at the Grand Canyon
it’s educational great and most of all it’s fun
the dog went on the picnic basket Beverly
D’Angelo IM CA she was a toal Beverly D’Angelo was a
total Christy Brinkley well so is she are you going to go for it yeah she’s a
a Bonafide bab take you for a ride this summer when you think vacation
oh yeah cuz imagine her opening her shirt that that’s from Christmas Vacation was it no I think hey they
might have done the joke no no because in that one he’s falling asleep she’s coming over the pool she’s falling he’s
falling asleep while he’s driving and she opens her shirt up and her tits are the headlights of the 18 wheeler that’s
driving towards them because they start flashing and he’s like what like wakes
up yeah they do the same version of the joke because it’s funny getting in the point him imagining having the putting
in the pool and then like yeah uh so now we’ll do uh I don’t know if you guys
ever saw this movie The Right Stuff I rode the ride at Six Flags bro there we go [ __ ] you talking about it’s a movie I
didn’t see till probably like five or six years ago but I know I remember as a kid my mom talked about it and I want to
say Jeff recommended this yeah and I want to feel like uh she might have said oh yeah it’s a really good movie but I I
know my mom liked it but this is a very this is like one of those you know it did it’s very renowned and blah blah
blah about to click that one yeah 3 hours guys 3 hours 12 minutes and 40
seconds we’ll let you know what we think yep [ __ ] on October 14th 1947 Captain
Charles joerger shattered the sound barrier propelled man into the
[Music] future and the search began for a new breed of men men who were
Fearless you’ve heard about our project sounds dangerous Jeff gold very
dangerous Count Me In I got a rocket in pocket and a roll in my wall ambitious
who’s the best pilot you ever saw you’re looking at it baby qu man
patriotic Beyond question I just thank God I live in a country where the best and the finest in a man can be brought
out yeah my pleasure to introduce to you familiar faces America
mer seven men who would risk their lives in a hurtling piece of
Machinery to cross the threshold of space takes a special kind of man to volunteer for a suicide mission
especially once on TV my government spends just all kinds of time and money
teaching new pilots how to be Fearless they don’t spend a damn Penny
teaching you how to be The Fearless wife of a test
pilot they were idolized by the public I’m sorry I thought doesn’t pay
much it doesn’t pay much one I want to meeted by the media gentlemen can you
tell us if any of you go to church regularly as far as Church goes iend
regularly but behind the image they were human beings human beings with real fears if
anybody goes up in the damn thing is going to be spamming a can frustrations what happened he blew
trailer bit on the nose do anything wrong the hatch just blew it was a glitch it was a a technical malfunction
conflicts you’re going to think of the broader interests of this program you are way out of line here I’m out of line
yes sir I’m running this show here we’ll see about that disappointments aren’t we
going to to the White House I love a good argument n a good argument goes a long way parade in New
York no Jackie pressures there’s another hold from NASA another
delay going be going through a man’s mind at this I don’t care for the trailer format to sit there and I guess
they had to try and Lally they thought it was best to or make these guys relatable and
we’re request that you remain in a holding pattern till then no
this is the story of the special Feud at the very top the elite Brotherhood whose
achievements inspired a nation and captured the imagination of the world
these are the men who had Sandy Cooper didn’t wear in that
suit there Jack nich you definit you should definitely
check that abely yeah it’s a it’s a quality three hours yeah it’s a it’s a 3
hours it’s like okay they could have made this in multiple they could have made it longer like a like a miniseries
or like a [ __ ] yeah quite good so all right I’m going to go and get a little
preface for this next one because this gets into the realm of movies that you
shouldn’t watch no no not it’s not it’s not like into the void or
irreversible it’s just a tough watch and it’s not going to be interesting for a lot of people and a lot of people are be
like oh my God you know but uh so yeah talking about Tootsie yes yeah this the
movie that was at the hospital when Chris was born no it was the my mom went and saw it like the night before she
labor something like that we watched Blackhawk Down yeah I know that’s Tootsie is your mom’s Black Hog
down toots sent Gina into labor so you know so if people want to check out for
a few minutes it’s understandable this this is a foreign a foreign film go be S
you no and give little not to because it so it’s Andre turovsky
right if this uh as we go throughout the years this is a guy that I’ll definitely
will be bringing up some some more of his movies but so this is a
um he’s like a I guess he’s Russian a Russian filmmaker right but uh so this
movie is almost kind of like a is it’s a little bit of his own feelings on being
an artist and he had a self-imposed Exile from his country that he kind of
took upon himself so yeah so it really deals with the Makey uh things like
Exile spiritual longing interplay between art and reality
um it it’s it’s very long form like a visual poetry right uh so he does a lot
of long long takes the idea of a long take so ex extended duration to shots
where it’s like man you know yeah not cut but it’s not the not in the idea of
like a single shot cuz modern day or normal times like oh it’s a single shot and they’re impressed by how much they
do like they’re falling in action scen it’s like they did the on one take yeah an on or whatever this is more like a
long shot like maybe it’s just a guy walking up a hill and it’s a very long shot not talking about Tootsie
half that we might be [ __ ] yeah dream logic uh that’s another important thing
blurs the line between you know reality memory and dreams so there’s a lot of and then there’s a lot of a lot of imery
symbolic uh things like I’m reading so like water fire there’s there’s anything
that you see in there that you wonder everything in the movie for the most part has a meaning well beyond you
know beyond there’s value in it it’s not just casually there but it’s there in like the Deep existential philosophical
meaning with it’s very heavy right yeah minimal dialogue yeah that’s an understatement
there’s it’s very minimal dialogue well dialogue means English right only
English right okay yeah so there’s no whenever you it’s negative dialogue it’s whenever you go not straight towards
something but at an angle yeah exactly like a Dutch angle call it dialoguing yeah but so um so influence right so it
basically uh rejected conventional storytelling right so uh so art housee
Cinema definitely tied strongly with that and it’s a movie I’ll say if now
then like oh that movie is like a meditation on something like this movie is a meditation on the artists in their
place in society and especially this andj T tarkovski being Russian and it’s one of
those movies is also interesting cuz it I feel like you really get to know a country and the character and the whole
Persona of a Nation through its art right and so I and for me this for me
these these foreign movies have value because we’re raised in we know about
countries whether adversarial or not you know we kind of just have a general a
general construct in our mind like oh Russia bad this so they’re probably their people probably have miserable
lives or here you know so I have these ideas you know but regardless of what
it’s like there’s normal people somehow going about their life in whatever that
is and I feel like watching foreign movies especially from different decades even modern Russian films any Russian
Film is a way to get idea of what it’s actually like and it so it’s fascinating
and you can tell that it was an impressive time because he’s not the only director like if you look at other
directors from the era just their films are pretty just somber and depressing
but it really reflects the way they that Society felt what year did the what year
did The Wall fall was it 83 I mean it was the mid 80s
so this could have been prior to the like fall of the Berlin you know like
still in the USSR so a very interesting time and so it’s a very interesting
movie but it’s there’s some time in this stuff and there’s a scene that I queued up that I want to show
and uh yeah it’s you know subtitles obviously but and this isn’t the main
character this is uh he’s main character some Russian poet he’s gone to just like
an area to study or just learn about uh part of it this guy who’s like a a
Madman who’s kind of took his family many years ago and locked him away for seven years to keep them safe from the
world that he thought was ending and you know that’s like in the past but he’s still kind of
from the past he’s yeah it’s Bron Brandon Fraser is about to be on there but yeah he just uh he some time the
stuff he’s going to say here and it’s
pretty for
[Music]
foree mus I guess I should have been reading that or something it would help Oh I thought
about it but the director wouldn’t want us to cuz they talk about translation in things
lost check out check us out check this episode out on YouTube so you can read
what he’s saying
C oh M oh m
[Music]
you know what they say went in
Vietnam but you get to this point in the movie and I feel like this guy about to
set himself on fire is it makes you understand to actually make a statement
in the value and the point of it all like it’s it really if anything made me
understand more why somebody would really sets on fire for to make like a statement Beyond it’s suffering but
you’s just see
yeah for
[Music]
malfunctional [Music]
sound and the police arrive promptly on time after the man has it’s like you
seen AR somebody the artist and raving and stuff to it’s like oh he’s just you know whatever but he actually goes
through set himself on fire you
[Music] know and see that guy was watching him he’s an artist that was already trying
to imitate him he saw him doing that he was like learning how to practice and imitate that to be a fake version of the
true of that right Tom is the end of the
world so yeah I think die hard did it better so yeah
it’s a it’s a heavy deep movie and that I like I like Heavy Deep stuff dude it
it came out in ‘ 83 man so I had to talk about it I had to talk wait whoa wait a
minute so yeah hold on bit of nostalgia for you a bit of nostalgia for you bit a
dose of nostalgia well I have a question for you about the what did you think about the mijan scene of this
movie did you did you like it I mean he used everything as play but yeah the whole idea of dream logic uh
it’s a very muted color scheme for the most part it’s a very it’s very tonal
gray and dull um but whenever it’s it’s intentional there’s moments where it’s
vibrant briefly and it really makes those moments more important what do you feel like you like dull things Matthew
what do you feel like you like dark dull things well it’s how I feel on the why do you feel like you like these things
do they make you feel something geminy someone’s been
practicing but yeah no it’s a it’s a it’s a heavy watch it’s a heavy watch it’s heavy watch wouldn’t it suck if you
had like if you’re W like if you had to carry a pocket watch this was heavy do or don’t take a first date to watch this
movie oh dude uh you got to figure out things no yeah dude it’s okay CU this is
a great movie right and i’ like it because she can read no there’s random conversations and things that happen
that are so deep and full of so much Rich idea that he casually said that it
made me think of a random conversation in this movie where this lady there’s
this lady in the poet and this lady’s obviously like likes the poet and been with him and he’s almost oblivious to
her she’s like like what what do what do I have to do to actually get you to care
about me you know and he’s just the poet and indifferent and and it was really making me
think as you know I texted you about poetry this movie I was thinking deep and I was thinking about Rel ships and
the depth of those and so this kind of segue out of this movie if you want uh CU well I was going to say it real quick
about this movie in a sense the conversation I was going to have can go beyond it we can but real quick I was
just going to say that how you were saying about you know uh M movies or
whatnot from different you know oh yeah the way they can help us look at stuff
understand other cult understand other cultures that’s why I was going to say have youall ever seen the show dark it’s a German it’s a German show where’s that
it says German yeah Captain Phillips yep Captain
Phillips look at me Black Hog down more yeah sorry sorry sorry joking
no yeah no it wasn’t uh but either way deep deep thoughts is thing we think
real relationships right yes um and I was just thinking about okay people I
think people who are really if they actually want to meet you know their life partner and I’m going to say that
instead of soulmate because I think soulmate’s just a a coin term that it they used to describe it but I I’m going
say if you want find the person that is willing to actually spend the rest of your life with you like till you die
like that kind of commitment or until you set yourself on fire until you set yourself on fire of protest it’s almost
like we go out people go out of their ways naturally it’s natural thing to like put on
presentation or versions to change himself in here and there to be more attractive to he try and get the girl
over so like he he a guy or girl they act they change thems in little ways or
big ways but to not who they really are just to try and even get their foot in the door with somebody right the
representative and so yeah and so you that’s like okay that’s great but then you get in that situation and the the
core of who you really are is going to quickly wa fade like all the other
stuff’s going to go away and they’re going to see the kind of person you really are behind all that stuff and
only a matter of time we’ll tell like okay I’m not putting up with this person or I don’t like this person or they’re
not really who I I thought they were right yeah but I think you’re really better off to an extreme not trying to
change intentionally thinking of ways because we do it subconsciously to not try and change who
you are when you’re trying to meet somebody if you want to meet life partner like go actively out of your way
to make sure that you’re outside of like bathing and soci soci conventions but the subtle things being like okay you
know this is the kind of person I am if you’re cool hanging out and doing things but he’s like he’s like weird he’s this
or that and he’s doesn’t like talking my you know just literally be yourself to extreme to where if they stick around
for a couple years with that then at that point if you’re actually
looking for a life partner I think you would for me at least my perspective Ive is I’m willing to over time try and
change things who I am which the core of eon change too much but I do believe you can change over time and if you actually
love somebody that’s a motivation to actually try and change in little ways right but it would take like okay after
time proving that there’s actually could be there in the long run to be worth trying to change for Yeah so basically
be yourself to the extreme for the first couple years if you get that far but you have to be willing to totally be alone
because there’s a chance he might not find anyone willing to put up with you no doubt no doubt the truth yeah and I
think too that like some of it comes down to as well like to say like touch on some of what you were saying you were talking about like changing or whatever
and it’s like I think that some of it it does I think that nobody should almost
the same thing you said about the soulmate deal how we get it’s just something we throw around and we say it’s like but the changing the Hallmark
card almost it’s a changing thing right it’s like I don’t even necessarily think cuz that’s thing you said it’s like
sometimes you change who you are for a person or whatever you change and I think that it’s just recognizing can you
be give this person the partner like and be the partner that this person needs regardless of just because that’s what I
think I think you can exactly 100% when I think you can still be the person you are and do the things you do but can I
at the same time change but you can have behaviors that cater to them by still being yourself yes and two to say like
to touch on what were saying about like in the beginning about meeting somebody off the bat like yeah put your best foot
forward take a shower P yourself up that’s just good for yourself it’s going to put you in a good place you’re not
trying to be anything different but then when you’re in those situations and somebody says something you know it’s like there’s some things that it’s I do
I will say there are some uh topics that are worth staying away from at the very
beginning of stuff cuz then you could ruin something good before it even you know if like if you don’t even know each
other off the bat and then you start talking about I don’t even know the the answer to well no all I’m saying is that
if you don’t know each other off the bat and you immediately bring up politics and you start trying to talk about politics there’s a good chance that
you’re going to totally misunderstand each other because you don’t know each other at all so and then you’re going to
to to to take so you’re not changing you would just be like let’s not talk about that yes yeah so you’re not changing but
you’re being wise you’re you’re making the decision to like figure out other things about the person before you even
get that you’re not changing you’re just smart enough to know let’s talk about
that when we know each other better that’s something that’s hard to gauge anybody like anybody you talk to even people that are your friends that’s why
they say don’t talk about religion and politics with your friends even so it’s like that was my only comment there um
and then something else you were saying like you were talking about uh did you have any other no I’m I’m I’m I want to
hear your feedback on it as much as you want yeah well and some of it so you were saying like so some of it too I
think that like you also have to be equipped like and understand that you know sometimes you know like you said
you’re either going to figure out pretty quick that you know this person is or isn’t somebody you can be with or be
around and just I thought this was something that I think is helpful I saw I sent it to our podcast page if you or
our on the Instagram as a message and this one lady I think is like a behavioral behav real science behavioral
behavioral scientist or something like that she yes either way it’s like body language and stuff like that it’s going
to be the second one I sent you from Joe random when when did you send this just
now uh just a little bit ago five minutes
ago second one right here okay that one’s fun you sure it’s not this one no that we can show that that’s hilarious
that one oh it’s okay just no just no no no it’s great it’s just funny cuz the looks are deceiving eting on me the
first time ever Liars typically accidentally use the question inflection a question inflection is when we go up
at the end of our sentence so it sounds like we’re asking a question even if we’re actually using a statement cheating on me the first time ever the
first time ever the first time ever if we are listening to someone and we hear them accidentally use the question of
flection our brain goes from listening to scrutinizing why our brain wonders why did you ask me that if I say to my
daughter did you take the cookie from the cookie jar and she goes no Liars are asking do you believe this we did a
massive experiment in our lab where we had people play two truths and a lie with us overwhelmingly one of the biggest patterns there’s a couple of
different patterns one of the biggest ones was that Liars asked their lie statement yeah so that was it yeah it’s
pretty good pretty good stuff Prett insightful stuff insightful stuff
yeah so yeah I thought that was interesting just that it was like huh cuz I and I thought back on it to like
conversations I’ve had with people or whatever justce just to think like you
did I feel like I feel I I I totally get what they’re saying though yeah no it makes it makes sense it makes sense you
know and it’s it’s interesting to data support you know what we kind of as
enlightened cats we’re some cool cats but no it is one of those things well I do think it is one of those things that
you still you pick up on it CU that was like when I looked up um about uh the
the um what she just described right there the uh language the question language the question infection or
whatever in infection question infection um the question
inflection um there was something it says uh yeah it says someone unintentionally raises
their voice at the end of a question statements sounds like a question this could convey doubt and cause the
listener to pay Closer Closer attention to the statement so it’s like when they do that it’s like so they’re naturally
like kind of when you hear that yeah it’s it’s a natural it’s understanding a
natural reaction we generally have to it but again I’d take it with the great like of understanding a reaction but
obviously not to necessarily attribute them being a certain way exactly some
people literally every comment was like this is true the question inflection
also just part of the Southern California accent so everybody from California basically um yes this will be it’s like
damn I’ve been lied to a lot like that’s like every woman I’ve spoken to in the last 20 years so so exactly
it’s a yeah it’s hard it’s but it’s useful information also too though but that’s the thing is that like knowing I
think it’s important if you recognize discernment well when it’s happening like you know when a person’s doing it
and stuff like that like especially too because in C in serious conversations people tend to yeah especially if
somebody get to know you got a sample size of their reactions so you can c C them cheating on you and you can kick
them out of your life yes exactly with you know I’m talking about
potato potatoes I think she’s been cheating on me with you well look man look I I just
pet the dog you know say nice things to is potato she’s not another she’s with
the with the wife yeah she’s with wife my brother well now we’ve Nostalgia and
and got get in it yeah we talked a little bit Yeah be saying you no um dude
I know dude every time you say that I think it’s freaking hilarious that F me but I can’t get enough of the way you
say that funny oh yeah
uh couple of things there’s been a handful of things I was saying okay
so first thing there was they found pyramids or they found something
under the pyramids they found structure like 2,000 ft beneath the pyramids I
think in Giza the pyramids in Giza yeah do do you want me to real time learn
more or do you want to just talk about I would like to picate further upon this Jeff Goldblum Style with my mouse you
need longer hands I think we talk with our hands more if everybody could just use our hands I know Chris is a giant
Jeff gold Bloom fan actually you know I’m going let you be empowered you the man will ask me he
wants me to do something worst a Critic I love it I love
criticism it’s like it’s like hey the character you played in Jurassic Park
could you just like be that for the rest of your life Chris Walkin is probably a better
example of that and I love Watkin’s good I love I love Jeff goam yeah no
everybody does I get it you know Everyone likes Christopher Walkin Everyone likes Christopher Walkin what’s
happening here I don’t it’s not is it green there’s a lot of there’s a lot of actors like that that well I mean I bet
it’s because of a individual personal life leanings or something no I I mean I
see it I I see he’s well he’s uh he’s carried it throughout his thing pretty much Point dude I I could make a huge
long list of people who do that that’s that’s how they that’s the bread and butter oh I could turn off the VPN you
wouldn’t have to deal with that sorry yeah I mean I got it I’m not a robot this guy this guy knows bicycles am I
right robot so have you seen where they put the two chat
GPT things over each other facing the opposite direction I
know um do you want to be do you want to be sharing this just I’m I’m not
automatically sharing the screen if do you do you want it to be shared I don’t think it matters I don’t think it’s
worth sharing I don’t okay yeah I don’t you do actually it might be no and I can
that’s right this it makes me think of um was that
his Deadpool one or two with his his legs he got his little baby legs and he starts to walk he’s like he’s doing it
oh yeah I’m it just made me think of that
Mikey that’s let’s see King’s chamber Queen’s chamber I like the sound
of this okay no it’s um so let me help you out no so um search click here because you
wanted to do like live web search click and that’ll uh give you more don’t
touch my TV sir more recent CU yeah it’s not going to a lot of it didn’t
naturally just search the web in most cases especially like uh the free
version but that’s that little worldwide web should be as little option you can
click heck yeah there we go 2017 no no NOP NOP again it’s working
its way up 2023 NOP 22
25 this is it this is it yeah all right so right here I
believe this is the one uh Discovery March 2025 yeah and March 2025 a team of
researchers from Italy and Scotland claimed to have discovered a vast underground City Beneath the Pyramid of
Giza using radar technology they identified structures extending over
6,500 ft below the Earth surface uh including pillar-shaped
formations and multi-level structures uh connected passageways however connected
by passageways however these claims have been meant with skepticism much like chrisy skepticism towards my Jeff
Goldblum uh from independent experts who question the Radar’s ability to
penetrate uh the Radar’s ability to penetrate to such depths the findings
are awaiting peer review you got to wait for the peers review thing oh I need to check my email you need oh
I’m these discoveries highlight the ongoing efforts to uh unravel The
Mystery of the pyramids and suggest that they may still be un undiscovered ch
Chambers and structures Within These ancients so what did you guys hear about this uh I was
outside okay just running yeah no but I am curious I’m just like the first oh no
the internet I mean I don’t know if it was just a random feed that popped up if it was like a podcast or something listen to Fe random feed why I was just
curious I heard him talking about it on a podcast the other day okay they were talking about news of the day and this
was something that okay so this was like in the last couple days or something it wasn’t it wasn’t just like a [ __ ] Tik
Tok video or something that so yeah so this is articles so man it’s fascinating
as hell like I’m they think it’s some kind of a power plant like that yeah
that there was like electricity and
[ __ ] so that’s what the podcast guys like do they did they talk like the that
like right here they were saying that it like the C out C vast underground city
uh Radar Radar images Li below scroll see like yeah right there
like if you click on the click that one animation depicting what scientists
believe they have found under the pyramids like obviously the top there is like the above the ground surface you
can see like the pyramid itself yeah I’m just trying to I’m is there any I wonder
if there’s further explanation into that D into that gra they think again like I guess they say the thinking I’m just I’d
like to read I would really like to read more on that hypothesis you know right here they claim they have an incover of
ass I don’t know I didn’t really go dep about the power stuff I don’t know that they know anything about what the [ __ ]
there yeah the information you’re looking for might not be out yet right now it’s just hypothesis people believe
the only thing they know is they found some [ __ ] [ __ ] under the under the pyramid they’re not like these are what
they’re for they don’t even know but yeah but that’s I’m saying for it being a mystery they’re presenting yeah
certain narrative with it they found this [ __ ] thing what this [ __ ]
thing is used for yeah they don’t know but they found this structure underneath
it yeah but what either if you hear something about power plant or power that’s what that was just something that
I heard podcast so they podast poten I saw I saw it on on an Instagram yeah I’m
not scrutinizing it I’m just talking because I’m curious I’m not trying to poke holes in it I’m just almost like I want to find out if they were talking to
an expert like I canar again is that they just recently found it and people were people have what happened is the
story broke that they recently found something so the story broke that they recently found something and then they
they ended up like coming back showing that with these images of what they let me let me share it just since we keep
talking about of what they believed what was beneath it what it looked like and
this is the images of that they generated of what they I guess they’re getting back saying hey it looks like
this is what’s under it yeah and so it confirms for people what it confirms what people have suggest have S been
suspicious of that the pyramids had something to do with collecting energy or whatever or rad it’s like 10 times
the size of the [ __ ] pyramid themselves it’s like a [ __ ] Iceberg um in which pyramid was it
G the Great Pyramid scroll up right there like you can see at the bottom corner of it the three
pyramids like I’m thinking they said it was under the Great
Pyramid man that’s fascinating here I can try and find search more here you go
search more like you’re oh yeah I mean talk more if you want yeah but just try
and find more of the answers you were looking for while we’re here because I before we go on whatever else oh you have to go see
if you wanted to see if you could you know ask any question through something
perhaps I mean right there look no that one see that this one or the next one
the thermal the next one right there you can see like that’s what Us remote sensy
techniques they’ve discovered L-shaped structure so I think this is part of what helped them discover so the red
square is like or the red rectangle is like the what’s it called the
like I believe the above ground like what you’re able to see but the Subterranean is like the um what’s it
called the thermal image of it like so it’s like the footprint that you would see above ground I believe is like the
red the red uh rectangle yeah and then the thermal imaging is like the chamber
they’ve discovered underneath it which is like three times the [ __ ] size of it yeah no yeah this is some have to
because no it’s fasty what whatever it is it’s that it’s a real thing so this
uh yeah and I mean it’s either going to be here let me see uh where is how do I get to go to that
go to the hang on like you just exit out of the let’s see how do I go to search from here okay
there we go this it makes you wonder like what
other parts of the world and other structures are P like they might they
end up finding other deep I thought I deep Caverns or
Chambers or hold on a second yeah well that’s like uh where is
it give me one second where it where at heard something the other day about like
talking about that finding like these like Subterranean yeah structures and stuff like that from like thousands of years
ago and that the like basically the like people
were forced underground because there was no like there would have been no reason to just build them or whatever
but I can’t remember where it was I heard it or what it see that’s that’s what I’m thinking they
were saying that no makes more sense to me think of like cturing power but like
it actually being where people took Refuge maybe or who knows right here so
I think this might be it this dude this dude shares a bunch of great stuff this could be it
so it’s like if back then you’re able to have your own doomsday bunker like a
doomsday bunker for the time no that’s not it like a pyramid like you think
what the president has that he could go to right now whatever that is because I know they have something oh yeah well
they have that’s beyond what we know they have stuff we don’t know about if we did no but there is the one that that
we do [ __ ] know about that’s like I can’t remember what it’s uh it’s called Mount I can’t remember what but like
yeah it’s like 30 miles [ __ ] and there’s that show Paradise that’s on Hulu that kind of has s like similar
thing about so you just you imagine modern day what they do so back then
that however they were able to build pyramids for them to construct something
like similar you think as a defend that’s just my initial thinking it’s just like
some here’s this video so this is either going to be the biggest Discovery the century or it’s going to be complete
nonsense but apparently the pyramid at cafrey at Giza has been scanned by radar
and that they allegedly detected massive structures that were stirring far below
the pyramid allegedly researchers said that they announced the discovery of a normal vertical cylindrical structures
that were approximately 648 M beneath the Giza Plateau they were
using S Advanced synthetic aperture radar tomography the team reported a
complex of five multi-layer subsurface halls with sloped roofs connected by
geometric Pathways and eight deep cylindrical Wells arranged in two parallel rows these Hollow cylinders
spiral downward and eventually merge into two gigantic chambers that are about 80 M
across now the people that claim to have discovered this were corado manga of University of Pisa and filipo biondi of
University of Strath now they’re saying that the these formations are man-made and not natural now here’s the thing
this is still waiting peer review and confirmation so it’s not confirmed yet but it’s already started blowing up all
over the Internet because of the fact that if this is man-made structures beneath the pyramid that’s
2,100 ft below the surface of the Giza Plateau that could potentially be the biggest discovery of our lifetime
because what that would do is that would prove that there were civilizations back dating before the Egyptians that
potentially were more advanced than today’s current technology which would be pretty unprecedented now one of the
popular alternative Fringe theories that may or may not be true is that these giant structures that were beneath the
pyramids were part of a gigantic ancient Energy System rather than just tombs now
people that are supporters of this are saying that the Precision Engineering of the pyramids and enigmatic internal structures feature evidence of some kind
of power generating machine now the engineer and author Christopher duns argued famously that the Great Pyramid
was ENT a huge geomechanical device like a power plant designed to convert Earth’s vibrational energy into
microwave or electric power now according to the scenario that Christopher Dunn put out he said that there were resonating Chambers and
strategic materials like granite in the king’s chamber which were used to amplify the vibrations the pyramid’s
architecture guided the energy upward which could then be extracted there’s a lot of other French theorists that are
saying that the newly reported vertical shafts and massive cubes underground could fit into this energy mechanism
model for example A guy by the name of Greg Reese hypothesized that these new
findings could suggest that the cylindrical Wells might have served as conduits for energy and sound and that
the huge Cube structures could have been energy storage or stabilization units kind of similar to the components that
you would have from a large industrial generator cuz this stuff resembles giant Subterranean capacitors or Tesla Quil
systems According to some of the theorists so this is either going to be the biggest discover so okay they
yeah that’s good [ __ ] yeah good stuff that gu that gu a good follow on the uh
on the old Grahams there how do you stop screen sharing which one of these uh this little eyeball right there dig down
a [ __ ] mile yeah like more than a mile yeah it get you m i mean the pass
that go it’s like how did they do that why did they do that right and so that I
my initial if I thinking if it was power generating I’m think thinking I’m thinking the you know out there idea
that you talk about alien lives wanting to take resources from us they could
want they could find a way to take resources from us without even interfering with our civilizations like
we help them build this structure they won’t even know that like I doubt the Pharaohs would know that it’s doing all
this stuff but some intelligent race could be extracting that energy and no one want even know about it levitate
over the pyramid and ex ract all the to be like oh we’re helping them build this
stuff and they’re great and we’re just be taking energy electricity you can see after 8m yeah there be none the wiser
it’s like no one loses it’s a win-win when that whenever we uh start
finding other planets that’s that’s I’m going to present that’s how we do
it Mikey is asking a question do old church Steeples collect I’m just
spelling [ __ ] at atmospheric um
energy so what made you think of this well because there’s also
a what’s it
called what’s the hang on there’s a well because what made me think of it is like to support I think why people end up
thinking that how they come up with the theory of that with the pyramids is has
to do with this stuff okay it’s in the same realm of so yeah hang on let me if you just give me a second this natural
architecture somehow being uh conduits or generators or capacitors or
Transformers perhaps so hold on
because I I would tell you what you know regardless of what you think about what AI is going to do whatever it will
definitely help us understand [ __ ] better it’ll definitely help us understand the uh the ability and the
potential of things that we might have theorized or even find things back oh [ __ ] this is doing that
too yeah yes the same way it’ll be able to like help find cures or weird genan
stuff and then get into yeah the whole real of freaking
bioengineering and yeah that it gets crazy but yeah I’m trying to find hang on I I’m trying to narrow down a test of
like this other of what people there’s a
scientific thing that like there’s one that people think that this is like uh just a blown up version of and I’m
trying to find out the basic science experiment that people do to to be able to I’m trying to figure
out what it’s called um it’s like I you could to say like a
science experiment associated with
this let’s see if this gets us there simple interesting experiment the concept named after somebody like does
electrostatic Corona discharge no no it’s okay okay yeah wait maybe it might
be yes that’s it that might be it I think that is it yeah aluminum ball scissors thread string
styrofoam yeah I think that might be it so look up like a video of it of like a
coronal I think that’s it let’s see the only reason this one’s actually going slower is because I have this 4.5 one
that’s still in beta but it’s uh the most human if you know like that’s a
whole another thing like earlier I said I don’t know
probably a couple weeks ago I think Vibe is could be one of the words of 2025 like it’s it’s part of this thing
is like they said Vibe oh so this [ __ ] thing says Vibe no not this but um the way they tried to they did the
best to describe the open ey did the best to describe this but I’ve also been hearing Vibe more and more even like
even uh Stephanie’s cousin was saying something like oh that’s the vibe it’s like I’m just hearing Vibe more oh my
God it’s a whole vibe it’s a whole
vibe then I can see see this 4.5 is kind of smarter
because come on just give me it to me here’s some YouTube
videos okay sources let me see sources long ago so uh here’s hor from 2024
welcome to episode 15 of our knowledge series basics of electrostatic let’s see you could play
it and see what they say there’s a bunch let’s
see I guess I could just go with that one and Skip It
Forward welcome to episode 15 of our knowledge series basic
Statics has built something nice again yes I have brought something exciting
with me in this case even very exciting starting with our high voltage generator
the smarty 310 this is a bus operated high voltage generator which is supplied with 24
volts and can be controlled via bus connection it is controlled via this
controller here is start playing a track this say kill my boy here to the
ball and the Earth cable to the second ball this is a measuring spark gap
incidentally this used to be used to calibrate high voltage meters today it’s
not part of this episode that we’re looking for Sparks but I’m interested in something
completely different namely sliding discharges on
surfaces um let’s make the first attempt at this we
have a measuring spark gap here I’ll set 100 Kilts here in the
controller set the target current to a maximum of 300 microamps I switch on the high
voltage and it starts up and we now have 100 kilovolts and
nothing is happening now put your balls in it right why is nothing happen
like ouch my partner here ball is large enough to prevent Sparks that’s the tank
the air insulates about 3.3 KT per mm we have 100 KT this is a little more than
33 mm I measured it roughly before around 40 mm
here that means there’s enough insulating air in between
now we have a plastic pipe here PVC can insulate much better than
air we have put a sealant in the middle this sealant is there to ensure
that there are no sparks inside because then we can see anything I’m committed to finish on the outside yeah mean go
ahead so that means I’m actually putting a lot more insulating distance or insulating material between the balls it
should insulate much better now and I’m not changing the ball distance it fits right between the
balls it’s going so talking aboutall for the beginning and then we can slowly increase the high voltage I’m going to
switch on the high voltage now we now had just 50 kts and there was
already a small spark I now reduce the high voltage again to 40 and switch the high voltage
back on so there being a spark that there’s no problem with 40 K manifest is I guess
that kind of what so yeah I don’t know if this was the exact it might have to
do yeah it might have to do something along the lines with the same experiment I’m trying to find but the one
experiment I found was a much more like rudimentary like example of it where a guy did it outside and he just used like
a wire a cup an aluminum ball like aluminum foil ball and uh and then he
pretty much created this you know where it was cting almost call it what you
want but the you know it was it was spinning it started spinning this thing like this he had this little electrical
motor and he hooked up the circuit and then he hooked it to like this one’s a minute 23 I’m see if
any of these you see any of these no it’s none of those I was looking at some of those earlier and now I’m back
to I’m back to Doom trolling in the feed that I send myself of interesting [ __ ]
and I don’t see it right now I’m getting closer though to where it
would be by this
point but either way so this machine can actually make 42 seconds uh first it can make a Corona you saw a picture of the
corona but then if I turn it fast enough you’ll make an arc so get it one really fast oh there’s one so you can see the
arcs hopping between the two electrodes on the Wind machine so this happens when the charge gets so big that it rips
molecules apart in the air and makes a conducting path between the two but it
doesn’t last right it’s just a snap and it goes away and the reason is that it discharges so it takes a huge amount of
charge on those balls those electrodes to cause this to happen but as soon as that huge current flows by then it’s
done okay and sometimes they’re very pretty this guy’s it was a lot better
yeah wa so like this what what’s what’s your like understanding Bally came of
that in the church Steeples and and what so so like if you go look at it like all the old um like the old churches and
stuff and like or or mosques or whatever and uh and stuff like that or uh the
like in if you look at the Orthodox churches in like Russia the big
like weird ball shaped copper things at the top the Steeples and [ __ ] yeah it’s
like people you know have hypothesized and believe that that is some way of collecting atmospheric energy in a sense
okay for some type of free energy or whatever almost the same as Tesla people have claimed that they believe that like
that we’ve known about this type of technology or had it for years and we’ve just stopped you know because wild else
you know people found out that energy in a sense was you could derive it in different ways you know and again it’s
probably something that wouldn’t work on on a large scale and it’s you know either way I just found it to be
interesting no it is interesting because then it’s kind of makes you think well we might just think it wouldn’t work on a large scale because you know well if
we just scale up the size of the large bowl but then we for able to do it efficiently or if there’s already
economy for energy and you know to where like you talk about so yeah I mean it’s it’s it’s
definitely interesting oh yeah no doubt you think about the architecture and design of things
yeah and I mean it kind of like makes you know it’s like I see why people come to the you know why they end up coming
around to it in a way whenever you you look at some of the things you know points and you know it can be like
yeah I can see how that correlates you know why not necessarily believe that’s
you know I could find other reasons why but it’s you know if you find enough interesting things and this whole pyramid thing is really fascinating I’m
really I really am fascinated to see what what more they learn cuz yeah that
is pretty nuts yeah it’s pretty nutty yeah will you want to take a quick break real quick let’s do it take a break
greetings traveler You’ just landed on the Mikey and Me podcast and we’re back from a break I had you guys for a second
think oh I need to go back something happened to my number number one number one what happened who did you see in the
hall again I got somebody oh well dang it well hold on before I get to that what I did right there was like getting
like the equivalent to back in the day with the ringtones where it’s was like hey hello oh yeah no what’s up wait who
is this oh you just got my voicemail oh sorry could dude my nephew’s voicemail
is still that Matthew oh and it’ll still
get I don’t rarely call him man but then still I know within that year and it
gets here like ha it’s funny but like ha wait you’re too old for this [ __ ] still doing that yeah it’s like this is from
before you were oh damn I almost want to call him right now but he probably pick up because I never call him yeah he’s
going to be like hey what’s up Uncle Matthew I need you to not pick up the phone I’m about to call you back I don’t
want to talk to you that was people using the people also doing the recording their own customized messages
back in the day off of uh you would like perfectly time the track you’d be sitting there with your phone and you’d
be like you click play and then what’s it called at the same time and back back when there’s effort behind it what’s up
guys I can’t back when now it’s all message do y’all remember
any friends that had any really cool ones man thing that like somebody was like he actually had a funny one no I
didn’t talking to people in that way but it this is like earlier than that but
some I think was it maybe in that 19 uh in that 19 it wasn’t in the Y 2K movie
there’s somewhere else but beeper code be beeper lingo yes was that in there I think it was in there like with the it
was B yeah there’s there’s different like there’s a whole shorthand you know to
where you just have to spell words out people there’s like there’s a bunch to
where it’s like I just want to send a message its own special language like emojis or something but with letters and
characters you could do on their phone because I made know about that I’m like actually that’s pretty cool I need to
look up because I was young so I’m sure there’s a bunch of that I never knew about oh yeah as adults you know that’s
especially in the world of adults and sexual activities question we’re going to go this way question wait so you’re
going to ask yourself a question last this way yes okay good um I will be the
last to ask myself this question that’s time I have the most time to prepare um what what TV or like yeah I guess it
have to what character in any it can be TV um or movie would you have liked like
if it could be anybody who would you like to have seen more done on or like an extended series
on a character from any show or like Again movie say they never made a movie
about somebody and you’re like I would have loved if they did this into a movie or you know into a TV show or something
or whatever it no I get now it’s like okay maybe she give us a a time limit I
don’t know CU because I want to think I would say 90s I’d say 90s I’m thinking a time limit for how long I can give you
to respond cuz I don’t I could think so deep and I don’t know if I should give me 10 seconds forces me but
that’s too short uh no take your time don’t don’t rush yourself take your time
don’t hurry up it’s okay who do you like who ain’t you seen enough um cuz like
for instance I would think in a way like maybe more of or a whole another story or more on you know although although
you have a lot to go off of but Kyle mclin’s character and you know agent
Cooper no that was honestly the first thing I thought yeah other than the fact I’d want it but at the same time
there’s already so much yeah in just knowing David Lynch I don’t know that there is a good way that you know what I
mean I thought the same thing he’s my favorite character but we get so much I’m trying to think of a small character
who didn’t have a big part maybe had a small presence like damn I would like to know more about uh maybe the [ __ ] in
the dreams of the [ __ ] guy or whatever or the log lady the log lady been great
that’s pcking so uh what’s his name uh doctor um May maybe if we limit it I’m
for myself thinking if I limit it to a TV show or a movie because I want to
force myself into picking something that out of out of it so I’m I’m going to say
I’m limit myself to a a police or cop type procedural or show anything in the G so you know
uh so I will
well he’s in a good person but uh the wire uh Omar Omar Omar yeah that’ be
good that would be good like a deeper like an understanding of [ __ ] yeah yeah
like a whole here comes Omar a whole Side Story of Omar or the depth to his
character cu the you know he yeah there’s some stuff I know Chris has really like understanding why why
anymore I was going to say there’s might there uh might know his journey too far
yeah yeah yeah they would actually they make that show now oh go pretty graphic
probably too feel like I don’t I don’t like Omar much oh man I think that was I
don’t know about I don’t know about Omar like oh
[ __ ] he’s like a whole new meaning he got no gun okay
I’m gas and the gay Vikings yeah no CH you got to give us one now
huh you got to give us do you have
um I can help fill time okay hzi H second season of Fargo
no hzi won our Chad GPT battle I thought I thought yeah and I thought you were going to say somebody else I thought he
was going to say how about say do you need to do someone from Dog the Bounty Hunter I want don’t let me yourself red
TV play I want to spinoff show with Leland no I thought she were gonna say Ray
smithi smithi I guess he’s like a main character already yeah it’s like I
mean no yeah I would i’ I didn’t necessarily care for like the way the
show ended but I mean it’s like how do you end it so like you know and what do you do after Mr in between yeah how do
you end the show like that I’m very satisfied with
it but yeah hzi would be one and proba from The Wire to I thought you were
going to say uh like MCN before like he yeah that’s some were he such a main
charact I feel like he if he had to pick a main character for the show it would be him so I feel like that gets you know
I’m thinking a character that like yeah he didn’t get as much of maybe they then no it would be uh what’s his name
uh the old guy the old black dude yes the the one that would always he ended
up hooking up with that stripper who ran away like he was really cool yeah he was the one where they were like they were
all sitting there trying to get that desk into the office and they there he was like wait you guys are pushing and
then he’s like he just like turns around and walks out the room it’s not lest or something but yeah he was like the guy that had some past where they basically
sent him to a [ __ ] job because of good detective he was good police yeah
he was good police he was murder police you haven’t watched all the wi have you no not all of it NE so y’all can finish
it together watched a lot of it y as a brother Y no cuz what happened y might as well start from the beginning brother
well no that’s know I’ve I’ve started from the beginning three [ __ ] times maybe if you have a brother with you and
you have a brother with you you could be a couple Brothers watching the wi from beginning to end I’ve started I’ve
seriously started that I’ve SE the first three season what’s his name webo webo um we webay is that [ __ ] webay is
Chris’s smoke monster from Lost it’s like he’s just throwing out facts like
yeah wee B we no I would uh
no hey Mikey come on yeah he’s already yeah I want so I I
think be saying it I’m just doing pug simulation no there’s a pug simulator
no um modern like there’s a modern one that comes to my mind immediately but it’s
very recent but it’s it’s like so I feel feel like that’s why it’s on my mind but I know it’s have trouble question like
tell me who who is this that you’re thinking about click no uh there’s there’s one that that comes to my mind
immediately but there I don’t think he’s necessarily and it’s so in in in spirit
of not sitting here and digging too long I think it’d be really cool to see um a
deeper like backstory on uh Brad Pit’s character from Once Upon a Time in
Hollywood okay like yes you did see decent enough of him yeah but he was a
mysterious he was just there kind what about his life before he became his stunt man like the life that he lived
before he became the stunt man for for him to be doing toe-to-toe with Bruce Lee and then like just being such a
badass like okay what’s his story they said he his wife and all this he was like a decorated military veteran is
what what’s his name said yeah like goddamn war hero he’s goddamn war hero yeah exactly it’s like and his character
was just like such a cool cat and like didn’t you know it’s like the way he acted with stuff like it would be fun
but also I thought that’s part of quintino Genius is almost like just kind
of not knowing I feel like I would want to know but I’m happy just kind of as
knowing he’s got some crazy backstory you know what I mean it’s that weird tradeoff like I would love to I get it
but I mean it’s just like comes to my mind it’s like I feel like he would make that would make a great story because it
would probably be just a mixture of like you know it would be just like all these
Adventures I feel like it’s crazy I mean he could involve any number of crazy [ __ ] Coke running and like working for
the cartel or some [ __ ] instead he just like stumbles into right he just happens into it he’s like oh yeah that was a
time was you know unintentionally running drugs or uh another one though
was uh this is actually shout out crane because he got me shout out the homie crane got me actually on this one and I
I’ve never really been a Star Wars fan I’ll admit it I’m not going to sit here I I do enjoy Star Wars I really do like
I like the Mandalorian the Mandalorian was awesome I really enjoyed it that’s a point I
think it’s I think it’s great Andor worth checking out better than that think all of the Star Wars I think it’s the whole thing as a whole totally it’s
great especially if that’s really what you’re into I don’t really I can’t really knock it sh Shadow Star Wars I
can’t I can’t really knock it to much yeah but what I was going say is there
was one I like it there was one of them that I watched where it was like
uh it was probably like turn the Jed came 83 three I don’t
know if you watched I did I did see that but it was one of the last three or four that was released it might have been
Rebel one or something or something show or movie the movie Something Rebel
didn’t one of them has something to do with Rebel or something one Rogue one the one that’s a prequel to the very beginning like you know set up might
have been Rogue one yeah there’s like not Powers as much really it’s just like more just a cool space like you know yes
and in Rogue one there was a part where like you see I think it was Rogue one or another either way there was a part
where you see like this girl or somebody’s having a vision or a dream or something yeah and you see kylo Ren and
he has like all these dudes that are with him with all these different like weapons or whatever something like that
so this is thaty Daisy rley so this is like that the trilogy whenever kind like oh dude and girl Le in it okay so this
is okay so it’s not Rogue one but you can keep going say for people it’s not Rog one of the not yeah that’s what I
was trying to say I can figure out in a minute but like it was one of the last the newer ones um but there was a scene
where like they’re having this dream sequence or whatever and like they see kylo Ren standing there and these dudes
around them with like these cloaks or whatever and the way they’re dressed and I’m like who the [ __ ] are those guys
like those guys look so the whole point bringing this up is like there’s [ __ ] like that that’s happened in movies that
never gets addressed and apparently crane was saying I asked him about that and he was saying that that was supposed
to have been something at one point they were supposed to make a whole story about them because apparently those guys
are like the Knights of Ren is what they were called and they were supposed to have made a whole like breakoff story
about them or something so they had that set but then they just scrapped it exactly and so it was like dang like but
he told apparently crane was saying in some story there is some story about them I guess from what he was saying
yeah probably the books probably book like they’re all like Bounty Hunters I
think that have different kind of weapons and stuff or whatever but either way it was like dang that would be pretty sick the kind of [ __ ] that they
man the universe is the cartoons and like I know some of like their one shows
is like supposed to be really good but I never got any what what’s your biggest knock against Star Wars I I like it like
I like it I just it’s not I just I like it I don’t see him it’s just I just
don’t get I don’t get my own my person no not played out I just for me I don’t
get like a a weird or philosophical or existential depth to it in the same way
it’s good like it’s good I enjoy it and I was I grew up liking it but at the end I feel like it’s a it’s little too
popcorn for me it’s like it’s it’s great I like it that’s what I’m saying but like I like I like SFI that’s so like
gets even weirder more of a Trey because it’s the more Trey you know I like Dune
I like like really you know it’s good goody it’s the more hairy not and this
isn’t meant be a knock it’s the Harry Potter of sci-fi yeah and Lucas has done [ __ ] jobs with most
of the moves he directed even like people liked them like a lot of people go back and like yeah he didn’t do a
great job like there’s so many like just bad ones really no there there I’m not
going to disagree so it makes it easy to like I don’t enjoy it as much um how
many innocent people were on the Death Star at least there was few did you know
there was one at the end in the movie where he was uh Anakin and he’s flying the little oh he’s little
kid fly racing doing the races great a great video G there’s a scene yes I that
game was awesome that’s what so was good they marketed games were sick toys
everything I was a little kid yeah I grew up and I had so many toys and [ __ ] like that they were smart with that um
in the scene where he’s like racing around and you see the stadium all the people like watching in the Coliseum the
big stands it’s like some it’s like some ridiculous I want to say like 100,000
maybe more painted Q-tips it’s it’s a small shrunken down
thing and they did painted Q-tips to make it look like people in the in the crowd so it’s not like whenever whenever
he’s coming past or whatever in the thing it’s like you know when they did the CG I can imagine some a Buddhist
trying to seek Enlightenment doing that same exercise dud I think I thought it was because it was just like it was
still the way they’re the way that they’ve combined in a lot of these movies like Lord of the Rings as well
the way they used Mini set middle 8th grade maybe when that came out yeah the way they use like midin sets and stuff
you know or whatever di think model yeah I mean that’s the way they
used to do so not worn you want us to get a miniature boat up that mountain who
pulls this boat over this hill you know it had me thinking I know I know there was Argo they did that where they they
did a whole operation where they film it was a fake film they created a fake film something it was Saw movie yes but I
wonder what if has there been other things that have happened where they they did it as a fake movie really just
to do something dude you can dude like think about it you could do all kinds imag imagine the ones that are good that
we just don’t realize that was could you potentially rob a bank wouldn’t that be a great plot to a movie you act like
you’re filming a bank robbery and you get a bank to agree and then you actually rob the bank at some point in
the robbery somehow in the in the mock robbery it’s somehow combined you know
we just need to be in the vault no yeah man I’m just trying to think of things that did but no that a good idea you just suck him back he like H
Three Men and associated with a podcast arrested they claim to be filming of
movie but you make it believable by like being being a long shoot it’s not like we’re
getting there out like we want to be like so believable cuz that’s what it would take to actually get the trust I think you know like all these guys
around here all the time we know where they live we know all this stuff we and we have to be willing to abandon our families
too somebody robbed two banks with an avocado in the last couple of weeks for
real yeah that was it just like in his pocket no he in his hand oh he thought it was a grenade oh [ __ ] walked into he
robbed like smart the stats on how you know how
common bank robber still are and how actually easy they are as far as like
getting getting CAU getting it’s it’s not getting for long time and we may
still be like for the longest time Dallas was like the highest like the
largest amount of bank robberies like per capita would like happen here in Dallas they closed we used to yeah there
were always [ __ ] but like it was so often you never hear of it yeah exactly it’s not in this there’s like Sho or
[ __ ] armored trucks were getting robbed and too they also uh they they even shut
down like that’s why now I don’t think there’s a lot of them anymore but like they used to have the Wells Fargo banks
and stuff inside grocery stores they shut down the one near ours like at the to yeah they used to be old something so
that’s why they stopped having them in the bankoc like that one got robbed I don’t know if the one over off of Lovers
and Greenville still has as far goes pres like yeah we’re we’re not going to do this anymore doing this [ __ ] since the
[ __ ] stage coaches that’s it no more grocery stores yeah exactly yeah that’s hilarious um dude bank robbers and
prostitution those have to be some of the oldest professions are and I mean dang like that’s what apparently it’s
funny you said about prostitution I heard Dallas has actually been cracking down on its prostitution when for cuz
for a while out of it had been out of hand cuz i’ be driving no well because if you if you I know buy
Market yeah um no call it was a barar market bull a bull it was a bear Market
or the [ __ ] no so yeah we got a surplus of the surplus of
[ __ ] stable of whes so Harry Hines Boulevard everybody back in the day used
to know about it of course it was always I feel like since we were kids at least I was a kid with been the track red
light I used to think of it as like I thought it was Las Vegas when I was a kid I just heard all this stuff about it
and I pretty much thought it was like the Vegas Strip it was just it was just Sodom and gomorra don’t go down there
boy but it’s like mean it literally persisted as to where it’s like oh we’ve
got a stereotype and we’re still going to doing it GRE up way more trash I grew up and I saw it during the day and I’m
like it’s not bad I drive through there during the day a lot I’d be like it’s not bad well then I play I playing
softball it’s like where I played out like the part of Dallas like Irving Grand Prairie area when I would drive
back I would end up using Harry Hines and I’ll come up Harry Hines at night make some friends and dude like God
forbid you stop at light telling you oh dude that be it’s your [ __ ] they’re all over the place just like walking
around like and and when I say I mean it they’re wearing like Sho strings and
like P so the SHO their shoes are laced up yes okay like they’re wearing there
like wearing the shoes like they’re not wearing shoes dude it blatantly obvious
it’s like it’s not it’s not oh that’s just probably some lady it’s like nobody wears that to just it
11:30 hanging around stop sign traffic Friday why is there yeah why are there
15 of these women out at this time on a Friday um they’re waiting on the party
but that’s what was they all their way but then they start it started getting cracked down on I remember I brought uh
like like you say like in the last year or well within the last like yeah six months to a year I feel like the cops
whenever they it’s almost like whenever they want to have easy money to boost your that we’ll let prostitution go
solve the [ __ ] so [ __ ] we need to look good let’s go and crack down on this now I I do and I do I I agree with that but
here’s the thing that makes it weird I’m almost positive we could look it up but Dallas Police had dissolved their gang
and vice units for a period like a while back they dissolved their gang and vice units and so seen show to believe when
that happened when that happened of them dissolving their gang and vice units it’s like it kind of at that point it’s
like okay you’re putting the same workload all like now you’ve increased the workload of the regular everyday cop
yeah it no longer falls under the purview of oh that’s that’s Vice or that’s game you don’t have a special
unit touching that which is own unique problem yeah so now you’re just going to overwhelm the the already overwhelmed
system it’s politics man and so yeah I don’t think I think it’s probably a direct like result of the defund the
police like movement and stuff like that where they just had to cut costs well no it’s not even that they actually
defunded the you know it was like you had a lot there were a shitload of cops that just [ __ ] quit or retired like
good cops that were like what you know what’s the point you know if I go out if I do my job I you know I could end up
being charged and you know like thrown under the bus and all this and you know if I don’t do my job if I don’t do what
I’m supposed to if I hesitate in a moment where I shouldn’t be aess job now it’s a job where you doing it and if you
slip up you might become like crucified so the idea was that it was like you had
a lot of like the good cops just walked away from it and the ones that were like
no you know a lot of them took their retirements and then walked away and so
and then you add on top of that the actual defund the police and if you know
like people reducing budgets for different departments and stuff like that factors you know it’s like you may
still have all those guys from Vice or whatever but it’s like because you’ve
lost all these you know different what’s it you have to combine them all and it’s like hey I know you know where it’s like
reshuffling the deck that it’s like hey okay everybody get in here you know we used to have 5,000 now we got
2500 okay so let’s figure out how to divide in every piece isn’t perfectly interchangeable like you get a unit
that’s used to working together it takes time to be efficient it’s like oh bring somebody new and all the you think they
just got Peak efficiency no and then now like he said you know it’s like your workload doubles where it was like you
used to just focus on like Vice and now it’s like oh now you also have to do you
know traffic [ __ ] too or this or you know whatever and so it’s like you’re doubling and tripl in the workload like
cuz the you know it’s like the crime don’t stop like and that and that’s the easy it’s not like they’re selling I
mean it’s not like they’re the drug dealer there’s drugs involved but man they’re they’re selling they’re selling
the the oldest you know they’re selling themselves uh yeah and what I was going to say with all that was it um the
reason that it’s now my whole point was saying everything they’re running two for that the reason that it was the
reason I brought all of it up was um uh or where I was I was going down that
train of thought to begin with was because you were saying that about well now I find it funny how they do this and
now they want to police it and this and that like how it’s like they let something go and I was just saying yeah it’s like we used to have a as far as I
understood we used to have a vice unit and a gang unit then we got rid of them we dissolved those units and now either
way it’s like I think the reason you’re seeing something being done with it is because it’s gotten so blatantly obvious
that regular people and other stuff are like it’s getting out of hand to where it’s like okay now we have to to do
something now there’s a the power of social media that it can do good whenever people are making the problem
you know so evident to it can’t be ignored yeah eventually it gets to the point where you know it’s like the you
know you look at movies from the you know 70s and 80s and 90s of like New York City yeah and then Giuliani came in
and you know the broken windows well it’s like broken windows policing and stuff like that where you know it was
like it got to the point that it was so out of hand that people were so like you know regular people were like I don’t
feel safe I can’t you know and so like I think to his point is that it’s like it’s gotten so egregious that it’s like
yeah we kind of got to [ __ ] do something that’s an analogy for what happened with the last election yeah
kind of very much gets so bad that you know it’s like hey everyone’s guys like hold on this is this is [ __ ] stupid
yeah my man can I serious I thought that that was having cuz you’re were talking about
the other day uh about kind of the American dream is it cool if I yeah go
ahead it was idea having it’s not just directly there was a lot of thoughts I
having right but um I was watching that movie and I was just uh there’s certain points they
were first of all talking about like you know the the American dream and you know
you and the good example is just me like U thinking of my dad my dad grew up uh I
mean he actually got a degree but like to be like a a pastor but he end up not
become one but he became a postman something like he didn’t need agree to get but he was able to be a postman get
married have a kid byy a house you know and make a life you know and and just
nowadays it’s like this that kind of hard work and effort it’s you’re not just going to easily just buy a house
and have that that kind of living you could before so s yeah to where it’s the
you know just the basic American dream is becoming more and more unattainable for the average citizen and it it and I
was then I was started thinking just about the identity of a Nation you know
and like that one quote in that movie he was talking about what is it like what is it when a Madman has to say you you
should be ashamed of yourself you know something as simple as that and I was like being ashamed of yourself and you
just think about that on a big scale and it just you know it’s I’m not saying
there’s any kind of resolution to my thinking other than I was just thinking about national identity in just Heritage
and this is about to take a turn you probably don’t expect but then I was just because I was seen architecture in
there and I was just thinking about civilizations that you know we know things about them but a lot of their
architecture is like a staple a testament of that time Beyond everything else you know what I mean yeah yeah to
where I and I think Trump would be the president to actually do it but if there
was some kind of national initiative and you’d have to be smart with how you do but actually to have some like National
like architecture initiative that you know equally found out 50 states to find
air equal errors they have to be intelligently done to like everyone represented but have you you you have to
like finding the archit it’d be like a huge thing to actually like pick the Architects to have the vision and it’s
all agreed on to where but like lasting lasting architecture to like the pantheon or the coliseums and things
like that is what you’re talking lasting functional architecture and it could be in this city where there’s this this
building not just building a stadium for the F functional architecture that just
kind of interspersed you know throughout the country to where like even like a pong place will be some thing that they
built there but it all have like it all be you know designed with the same aesthet you know it all have like a
theme that all connect but that would be like a defining thing because like you’re saying it’s almost like if [ __ ]
goes away and it’s like oh this is a great nation and or they were but it
it’s I feel like it’s a kind of endeavor that for whatever it’s worth would like
have some weird identity that helps associate with it you know in a weird way I don’t know just like thought was
happen about that I don’t disagree like I think I think that’s that’s actually a really good idea and a good thought but
I think that like I the reason I don’t think something like that would happen oh yeah
and I’m not to like not to poo poo it but like burning Tesla dealerships right
now well yeah I mean not just that see that video I made I don’t even know if I uploaded it I was going to say just that
it’s like you know um like they’re we’re already like in order for us to do
something like that we have to like sh are are like it’s like one of the best
quotes I think I’ve heard has been in the book The Fourth turning and in that
book it said it was like uh we’re we’re individually motivated yet collectively a
drift and that’s like exactly like the best way you can pretty much sum up the United States yeah individually
motivated and collectively a drift so I don’t the reason I don’t think something like that would happen is because it’s
like everybody their all of their shift is just they all of our Consciousness
and our mental like you know Spotlight is being s shined on just one thing and it’s like paying bills and surviving and
doing this and it’s like to have this you know I I don’t know I don’t think and I don’t think saying I don’t think
it would happen I just think it I think it has the best chance of happening if the odds statistically of all the past
leaders to now I just think the odds of all of all the stuff Trump has done he just said we’re building a wall hey
we’re doing this to where it’s like if anyone he would be the one he has made yeah and he has made the points about
like look at Dubai it’s great look at how amazing this place looks to like if
I just say if anyone yeah yeah no he like I know he had said stuff like
during the campaign and and all that about because what is it this year it be the
250 is it this year yeah no 7 no be next year 76 so it be
26 uh next year is like the 250 year anniversary or whatever and so you know
like all the movies back in 76 you know they it was like that was definitely a big theme like the bicentennial like
even in like [ __ ] Summer of Sam or Son of Sam like that movie and stuff
like that that was a big you you talk about like a a time of the year or whatever a [ __ ] time period being a
character in the movie like that was the bicentennial was like a character I feel like in but either way so we’re coming
up on 250 right so we’re coming up on 250 next year which would be yeah 26
will be the 250 year anniversary but it was something he said give two shits
probably no well he had said that he he wants to have an entire like yearlong
celebration and have not like what you’re talking about like building something you know having
each [Music] thatl
whatevers of the country you know where it’s like we’re going to have a this or we’re going to have a that you know like
something in the Midwest and then in the you know that like whether it’s a world fair or like something like that and
then you know other things too about like uh there was another one that I had heard him talking about um when he was
campaing or even after he I want to say it was like like the end of his campaigning to into like getting elected
but um that uh that’ be cool I mean if like a youth initiative as well almost like a
the kids care and learn country like a an actual [ __ ] like Get Fit push like
they had in the [ __ ] like 50s and 60s like where you would where like PE class
was actually a [ __ ] thing like is it that anymore I don’t even know well not
to the extent that back in the day they would have literally physical education
this is how you [ __ ] stretch this how you do a [ __ ] just okay this is how
no we’re going to okay everybody’s going to you know if if you have auditory problems you can put your heads headphones on and you don’t have to you
know like it’s a free it’s a free class yeah everybody just hangs out in the gymnasium unless they don’t want to and
then you can go to the class and color like he’s talking about like having an act like get together and do [ __ ]
push-ups like this like everyone’s going to be at least break a sweat be [ __ ] yeah well it’s like yeah you know it’s
like go back to those time you know where it’s like that’s when you know they talk about make America great again
and stuff like that and everybody’s like oh he’s she’s talking about make it white you know this and that it’s like no he’s talking about a time when like
people actually had pride in their country and it’s like you can say that about any [ __ ] thing where it’s
like oh yeah exactly you know you’re like oh drink more water oh you know who else drank water
it’s like okay yeah he was like yeah bad things happen then and good things happen then too he’s obviously not
talking about the bad he’s talking about the good things that happen you know and it’s like yeah yeah it’s like I think
kind of like what to Mikey’s point you know talking about cohesion and stuff like that you know and you know collect
or singularly focused and collectively a drift where it’s like people talk about
the you know like how much 911 sucked but how awesome 912 was
because like everybody was a [ __ ] American that day like nobody like all
of that [ __ ] nothing mattered you know it was like at that point it was like
you know we you Rabbit Hole to go down get into yeah get 91 was whatever the
value the fact came from a terrible thing like that well it it it like let
everybody focus on you know what like at the end of the day they
attacked all of us regardless of what you know like what color what religion
what sexuality like any of it it’s like no they attacked America and at the end of the day we’re all [ __ ] Americans
if you want to go conspiracy theories about saying like how do I get my country together again well this is a
terrible thing to do but we allow or orchestrate or just allow a terrible
event to happen because that’s going to unite us better than any positive initiative do I could sit here and make
initiatives everyone to join together one that that’s one that’s been that that horse has been beaten to death like
that actual like you know of what you know what that was and all that and what
the you know intention of it was and everything but the only reason I brought it up was like to Mikey’s point where it
was like you know it it ends up taking something like that to snap everybody
out of the you know the being a you voted for the orange [ __ ] Cheeto man
yeah was like forgetting line divides and being like wait we’re all freaking neighbors people want to those people
want to kill all of us yeah like so like you’re my neighbor go to school I I like your
wife’s cooking um let’s let’s join together and recogn brought your trash
cans back when you were on vacation one thing that was awesome after like after
all that like just to touch on what y’all were saying about how after that happened was the uh the game between uh
it was September 2st 2001 first game after 911 uh the Mets versus the Braves
yeah and all the Mets weree like the FDNY New York firefighter hats and then
Piaza like mashed a uh a home run I think to give them the the win or
whatever um or no they didn’t they didn’t win the championship I don’t think that night no that no it wasn’t
but they they still ended up like uh let’s see what was it um cuz yeah that was when Sosa ran
out with the flag and stuff too oh that yeah that’s when he was still black
right yeah yeah that was back yeah that was back when he still looked like my granddaddy now he looks like yeah
September 1st 2001 first game after 9911 me versus Braves um yeah it’s like Pia
hit a homer but either way like you said it was like there’s so many guys you hear talk about that day and you know
that game and how they were saying that it’s like it was you know just a surreal game and like to what he said it’s like kind of you know everybody was kind of
it unified unified the nation but I think it was an inside job either way
whether or not it unified us I think that they probably and and before stanle died he probably wrote the script
for whether it was yeah whether it was in intentionally like like I said or
there whether it was intentionally done yeah or like just let [ __ ] slip through
or it’s like like you don’t have to do yourself you just have to put people that like push people in the right direction or just how certain things
happen well it’s it’s U it’s kind of the same thing that uh they talk about with the uh with the Butler Pennsylvania and
the Trump stuff the assassination attempt where uh they call it um there’s
exct I’m talking about no but there’s a phrase for it where it was like it’s not it’s almost like a oh the
phrase is something like no like compounding it’s like compounding of errors but it’s not because it was
like oh I can’t I can’t remember it was like you could not
possibly it orchestrate this many errors to occur in that fashion
it would be like if there’s an infinite number of what’s the one if there’s an infinite number of like reality some
with somewhere there’s a reality with a million monkeys tapping on [ __ ] keyboards that are capable of writing
Shakespeare it’s like you can’t that’s it’s just not like it’s not going to [ __ ] happen it’s like that that
didn’t hold water B yeah and that’s one of those things well in the day before
was at 910 When Donald Rumsfeld went on [ __ ] TV and was like oh by the way we
just lost like a trillion [ __ ] dollars right yeah and that’s what and
that’s where like the building seven thing comes in where people are like what happened to building seven and I’m pretty sure and that’s where like all
the documents and stuff was like the building seven that yeah went down at
freef fall speed that been talk to a guy’s like hey just just make sure that this problem goes away like okay Roger
that well guys why is the whole building beeping uh
yeah was it something in deny is it whatever in deny you said what like when like you know like like if a spy gets
caught like you basically they get caught and they know that oh something in deny yeah you know talking about
toward where it’s like if you caught you on your own to where it’s like oh oh oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah like a like an
Expendable asset or whatever basically where it’s like yeah you [ __ ] he acted alone yeah I was trying
to see there was something one of the craziest things and this might not be something I should talk about um the
craziest things in regard all right dude um I mean I might
be distancing as you’re reading I I do my distance meter with my
hands um I just want to say I’m a happy person it’s it’s you exude happiness
Michael I I I do want to get that Jinga thing to so we can be casually playing Jinga cuz that would be funny it would
just be fun no there was some like there was some art or we could just make a
beer can pyramid or you could uh be like Matthew mccon and just make a beer can art no
beer can p honestly you that might as well be a thing like try to make a
pyramid talking about the other week when look at all the beer there’s beer
but you know what I appreciate about the Smiths these are guys who who drink beer and they don’t have like a half they
don’t have a third there’s not a sip left in these beer
cans no I don’t I don’t [ __ ] no that’s how that’s how [ __ ] Salazar
was where like I mean I’m guilty too I be like this much left in the bottom of it and he’d be like Oh I’m not going to
drink that’s that’s all the backwash I’m like what the [ __ ] did you do to your drink like you just yeah like are you
blowing into it while you’re drinking like I just forget but but it’s like no Smith no every every sip is accounted
for it’ll it’ll happen every now and then but yeah you count on two fingers I
try not I try not to you know you waste not not you don’t want to make a bad ass well you know you’re doing math you
don’t want to develop a bad drinking habit you want to finish your drink yeah you want good drinking habits you’re
instilling your children there’s the right way to drink yeah he was like yeah you don’t want to be a problem Drinker
you don’t want to be like airplane I developed my drink problem yeah yeah exactly so I’m trying I’m I’m almost
determined to find it just so we can share it I don’t even want to say anything no I want I think you said that
people need to see it we’re just going to here it was about 911 and it was about it had to do with these there was
literally this like SM Israeli um oh yeah I wouldn’t art like thing going on
next like yeah where the yeah like a none of them showed up or something that day no it was some it was some
ridiculous like no there was photograph of like these people in this room of
them like working on the stuff they had had like it was a building next to it or some [ __ ] or it was in the Trade Center
I think I think they were in the Trade Center was the thing yeah and there’s like photographs of this like these
boxes Stacks and stacks of these boxes and Like Somebody went looked up with the boxes allegedly the the the numbers
and stuff on the boxes were from and it was like detonation fuse or blasting C
whatever it’s like stuff for like I think it was detonation fuse for like thermite no but it was like the art
program or whatever something yes it could have been I think I think maybe it
was written oh so it’s a PL thing like they detonated they did something more to actually make them fall over it was
just a weird coincidence it was a weird and again it was you know it looked like
something that they were uh it was whatever the [ __ ] they were doing people
were suspecting that like they were not doing what they said they were doing
they were doing something else it was like they tried to say that oh we’re just doing this people kind of kind of
dug into it and they looked at it and they’re like well this kind of seems weird actually when they’re really like
yeah I’m going to find it Ian there’s any number of any number of people that like would would have had like that’s
why again too where it’s like you know was it a bunch of PE you know was it it
six [ __ ] people sitting in a room together you know under candl light being like okay so here’s the plan what
we’re going to you’re going to have this and then you’re going to do this or you know or is it a bunch of people being like hey so maybe if like I just didn’t
do anything and then you just didn’t do anything and then maybe we didn’t show
up to work tomorrow maybe this all go away you know it’s like
yeah really son of a [ __ ] that I’m calling
in tomorrow and then it’s like and then it [ __ ] and then they’re all calling each other like holy [ __ ] bro like thank
God that happened it [ __ ] worked he’s like we’re going to make billions it’s like well we just lost billions but
we’re going to make so many more billions you know and then you get into like the you know like Cheney and
halberton and Baker Hughes well in the the no bid contracts that
went to halberton to go in and rebuild like all the infrastructure I mean
literally down to like oh yeah I mean every [ __ ] nail like was you know
awarded to like Baker Hughes and [ __ ]
uh halberton halberton for me personally that doesn’t like make me think they’re behind it but it just makes me think
okay they’re the ones who immediately capitalized on yeah well you know it was like that was that was the thing about
yeah it’s like whether there were whether there was inten or not that would be the same behavior the way the
way yeah the way they went about like capitalizing on it and everything in that moment like that was its own its
own crime whether it was a part of the overall whatever or if it was a just a
crime of opportunity on the back end you look at Co the same way in vaccines and [ __ ] it’s like oh were they behind it
was time was Ze behind it well you can see how people immediately made it same profit after it yeah well it’s the it’s
literally the largest transfer of wealth in human history that occurred like from
private citizens to like large corporations like it’s like the amount of small businesses
and restaurants and everything that like were shuttered you know and then you
look at like the record profits and everything that all these companies made I know you that’s the crazy thing like
the small business but like actual like stock marketting things in like certain industries yeah it was crazy like my job
at SL the glasses placed had a banner year the the year to
had Co my the job that I was just a Cornerstone they had like the the co
effect for them what they did it was through like through the roof like they
made so much more they made so these SP made so much money for what whatever like in those building that’s what I was
about to say it screwed them right because CU I was dealing with it to
where they we do our annual forecast and the traditional one of the traditional ways to do it is you look at prior years
and you look at things and you just again I talk about capitalism and thinking things always going to be growing it’s like these last two years
they did this well so we’re going to forecast we’re going to do at least this well whatever but it’s like know the co
effect from some business like in big business it was like times X or whatever
they did so good to where they’re forecasting to like oh we’re not hitting forecast we’re not doing as well yeah
cuz that that you know that freaking aberration of Co was a huge outlier in
SES that made them do so well and then their deaths they’re not just do that welled so it’s like literally chasing
the dragon yeah they’re literally chasing the dragon they like how [ __ ] get addicted to heroin where it was like that high that you
know all the directors all the managers are just like went into that and it’s like and you think about like the one
that comes to I mean I’m a [ __ ] trog but like the the one that immediately comes to my mind is the amount of money
that like not initially because like the leases and stuff had already been signed
but you know when you started to go into like you worked remote like for the whole [ __ ] day
like from Way Beyond it and so it was like that’s the thing it’s like you figure they signed a a fouryear lease on
the [ __ ] building the the office building that you used to have to report to every day yeah say they were two
years into that lease when covid hit or whatever and you know it’s like so yeah they had to eat it on the two years that
like you weren’t in the but then it’s like wait a minute we can [ __ ] have all of these people work from home we
don’t have to deal with the [ __ ] you know the oppos Le any of the you know
the electricity the anything with yeah and so it’s like and then spread that
amongst all across the country to all the offices you have everywhere and it’s like you’re talking about like millions
and millions the crazy thing is I was like I noticed I noticed this like my last job I was like looking at how we’re
performing and how we’d been I’m like using these prior years Co is any
kind of a baseline at all is not accur almost one where you you would totally
throw that year out like I’d be like you need to actually
have at least a you know in business you want have multiple views and you can have a lot of different scenarios to try and come up with an estimate we need to
have one in my mind that goes to preco and then you know has some kind of
algorithm or whatever just to try and play out under normal circumstan what were your 10 years prior Co prior to and
then yeah like what were those like and then try and get a better Baseline because and it’s it’s could be every IND
is going to be different cuz some they grew because of it and they’re could still grow but a lot of them yeah they had Banner years and they’re not going
to hit those Banner years again so it’s almost need to it’s almost like outlier data it’s almost like an aberration that
to factor that into any kind of equation you’re not going to be accurate and I feel like that’s what my last job I was
saying like man there having a bad year or getting worse worse yeah because the co effect is over and the co effect
dragging the average up so high you’re fired like you need to we don’t
I’m sorry you know it’s New Year me we’re positive this year we don’t need you telling us that we got to stay
growing my bonus is tied to this my you know my check is you know I’m got to deliver results yeah dude that it’s no
it it is nuts like just the way that yeah and I mean that it’s crazy too like
just seeing the way that like the work environment has changed like just from
like working in a warehouse and stuff like that you know um where it was like
before covid and stuff like that where it was like I could count on one t one
hand I feel like the number of times I’ve been at my job almost 20 years at
this point and [ __ ] I could count on one hand prior
to co the number of times they like canceled work because of the weather
it was like the 2011 snowstorm when we had the Super Bowl here and then there was like you know there was there was
like one or two I mean like seriously I think like they canceled work maybe
twice yeah three times like probably I started working there in ‘ 06 so you figuring Co was what 2020 06 to 2020
maybe three times they called our job because of weather now it seems like every every year
like and I mean I’m not tripping you know if they’re like hey hey we’re not working tonight it’s like it’s it’s
almost like because they know like we got these you know it’s like becoming
self-aware where it’s like oh yeah [ __ ] this like I no I’m just because even you
know during Co and stuff they were you know where it was like they were just telling people like hey if you feel sick
don’t come to work you know so you’d have [ __ ] calling in be like hey bro I’m G call him I’m gon call him
tomorrow and I’m gon tell him like [ __ ] been coughing yeah and then like they’ll be off for two [ __ ] weeks oh
yeah po back up bro dude the co criteria was literally like and you might not
test positive and you might not you might not have symptoms so basically they told everybody you have a free pass
he was like maybe maybe if you smell things more clearly and you see colors brighter if you feel better today that’s
actually that’s uh soft Cod and the funny thing is that affected things to where you had honest people who were
living by those standards which is f I’m not saying it was right or wrong I’m just saying they were following him and they were taking themselves out of work
and equation and then he had the people who like oh I can gain the system because of this and so then you
immediately the effectiv the out the effectiveness and the output of the N National like your GDP just everything
just because you have yeah dude it’s well you know and that was the thing is like there was never a a unified message
about any of it either it was like you know it was like you know don’t wear the
masks because we want them for the Emergency personnel and then it was like
no no it’s actually probably best that we do wear the mask he like but they
actually don’t actually protect you at all they don’t but they do and it’s the
most effective thing you can do yeah he initially didn’t even say that they were
he just straight up lied and then he said that like yeah he then later said
that CU then he came back and was like oh we we said that because we wanted we didn’t want there to be a rush on on The
Masks because we wanted them for the uh the hospital workers oh gosh cuz yeah that was what
it was was he was like oh The Masks they’re not you know there’s no need for them blah blah blah and then yeah when
they called him on it that’s when he was like oh well actually the reason was altruistic and to accuse me is to accuse
and question science that’s actually a direct quote if you if you if you what was it
it was yeah if you question me you’re questioning science it was like holy
[ __ ] Oppenheimer I am become science like that’s goodness realiz I’m speaking
to God like what yeah well you know and then you get into the whole bath houses and you know Dallas Buyers Club you know
that that whole which I never seen that but coincidentally the you know you
probably watch it after you watch the Omar spin-off the do you’re going to have to you can you Bing those in the
same night [ __ ] Omar already came [ __ ] Omar might have a cameo on that oh
God he’s like no was too early what are you looking up Mikey what are you looking up over here I see you on your
phone working hey just wait I’m getting close for that that that same thing okay
an hour and a half later hey no I I respect I respect it dude I’m dude I’m
swear I I really this means a lot to me I mean
I oh did I get
one I’m getting close I know I am uh I think I’m good thank you
I guess while you’re wait I can I can seeare some more of my deep thoughts
um what else
that deep thoughts
yeah oh yeah and once you find it give me know
but it’s kind of ties in some I mean it can kind of be in the same idea of the American dream to an
extent but yeah not totally but uh because I was just thinking there’s the
this the S the the terrible system that we work to it’s like um and
of course this you know there’s you could poke holes and all kinds of it but there’s there’s a certain logic to where
okay so like say say I’m applying like and I just see the like the job of a
manager is a decent Ro tour like okay a lot of places
um stop the the most important qualties to be a good manager uhuh do not at all
require that you went to school or have a degree to be a good manager like you
can have had life experiences and you could have managed you could have any number of things to where you could
actually do you know and you could quickly learn others like because you talk about certain positions and we see
coaches you see certain people take on coaches and never did coaching whatever but they n literally what like the
military structure yeah where so you know like in movies and stuff like that
you always see where was like they talk [ __ ] on the officers and stuff like that but then they talk about like the ncos
and all that where offic yeah the non-commissioned officers where it was like almost like what you’re talking
about where it was like cuz your officers are people that are college educated that went to school and then
went into the military specifically to be an officer generally it was like you
will get you will get ones that like yeah did the grunt but then went to school to become an officer to get their
commission yeah or whatever um but that’s what like the phrase NCO versus
like an officer and so it was like in order to become an NCO it was like you need to have done you know 10 15 20
years at this job as a [ __ ] like a worker yeah you know and then you’ve got
this guy that’s like fresh out of college yeah that knows all the theory and knows that oh this was the you know
who studied books to like okay this how this is how it’s done I’ve read I you know it was like I
can I can quote clha wit’s like chapter and verse and all this and it’s like but I can’t read Compass they put in
practice or actually have a group of people and manage them effectively the scene it’s like the scene from uh the
movie Platoon when when uh Charlie Sheen’s character first gets to [ __ ]
what’s it called to Vietnam and Elias uh what’s his name’s character um William
defo like he jumps off the [ __ ] PL or off the chopper and he’s got like all
this [ __ ] on him that like in basic they told him you know you’re going to need this yeah and Elias immediately like
just starts tearing [ __ ] off you don’t need this this is going to slow you down you’re never going to use this you’re never going to use this you know and
like it was like that actual like been in the [ __ ] like knows what’s going on
he was like that’s actually more same kind of value so it’s like the same thing saying so in like in The Bu say in
the business world right and the thing is it’s funny it’s a it’s not funny but it’s like it’s tragic that businesses
who try who go out of the way so hard to hire the right person for certain roles
and it it’s fair that you have to have filter some criteria but like there’s there’s uh and there’s I’d
like to think there are easy ways to come up with smarter filters to figure out if a candidate is a potential
candidate without it being you have a degree in this and then a master’s degree in this to where you’re limiting
and and then because even you get all these people degrees and they don’t do the job well and they don’t do the job well it’s like and you try you spend all
this money on the system these people pay all this money in this game but where well maybe maybe they know that
they know the job but they can’t work within your system they can’t you know I’m saying like there’s candidates out
there I believe that if they you could have a a I don’t know a screening system
it could literally be like in the whole that’s the whole cover letter or something like like compelling this
write something or something that you know is convincing that you’re good you can do this job and then get an
interview and because I feel like there’s candidates out there that could do the job and Excel amazingly that they
don’t even consider because they don’t have these criteria that are part of in
and it comes idea of like yeah you have systems you have things that work best and people like literally all the
economies built around most of it people who follow these rules and systems and that’s fine because it does work to a
point but then it’s almost I’d almost want a person who’s been incredibly successful and not been schooled on
anything cuz whatever however they came to success however they found it and whatever outside the box thinking they
did is could be probably because they weren’t had the confines of classical
education that’s like what um that’s actually I know I talk about it all the time but like the timcast or whatever
like what Tim P talks about because he was actually a like a high school dropout and he runs one of the biggest
shows on YouTube now and he actually talks about this he talks about this very thing all the time when it comes to
like hiring people for his company you know it’s somebody that does video
editing and this and that whatever and he was like he was like I would you know
if I’m looking at two resumés and it’s like and it’s a guy that has [ __ ]
four years of schooling doing you know video editing and this and that and blah blah blah or this guy over here that has
just been making homemade music videos and doing this and has a [ __ ] you know background in Adobe and Flash and
every [ __ ] thing else that like all these different you know tools that it’s like because
this guy’s actually been doing the thing and this guy just knows the theory of the thing so he was like this guy is
already this guy right here has probably already run into the problems and troubleshot them knows the shortcuts
knows the back doors whereas this guy knows the theory and knows all of this but he’s never actually run into what
happens when the theory doesn’t work yeah you know and I actually have to figure this thing out and troubleshoot
it on my own know he has to go through the process of creating all these shortcuts and back doors
where things be like this how to do it this oh when’ you learn that it’s like that’s just how I do it that’s how I
figured how to work yeah where it’s like I literally think about like you know homeboy like fox or the [ __ ] internet
you know stuff like that where it was like we’d be sitting there and you know they’d be like oh yeah blah blah blah
just like embed a video file on somebody’s [ __ ] page and it’s like how what did you do like oh you just
[ __ ] right click this and yeah and it’s like and and they were just punk ass kids like doing it that just knew
like their way around it whereas like you know there’s people that go to school that study how to do it and it’s
like well actually you can’t embed a text file into a this and that because it’s like yeah you can’t you just back
door you open up Flash and [ __ ] you know what it’s like oh no [ __ ] and so
yeah it’s like Theory Theory versus practice like What It ultimately like
yeah practice and just actual evidence of if you just being able to do that
task or just how you came to do how how you how did you figure out how to do it without you know the the definitions
that again like is they all work in the theory economic and different theories they’re like P they’re best practices
but it’s they’re not the always the only way to do things Welling themselves yeah and I feel like
that’s EV maybe one of the most evident things is like in certain Visionaries but then certain coaches whenever
coaches do [ __ ] in it works to where it’s not following the well it’s a highrisk high reward type thing because
it’s like because if you go outside of it and you fail it’s like of course you failed because you went outside of the
generally understood Orthodoxy so why the [ __ ] wouldn’t you fail or like Jason
Garrett and whoever else in failed doing the Orthodoxy all three phases all three phases you know yeah the TT the textbook
didn’t work either son of a [ __ ] blame it on something out that’s the locus of control it’s all about what the locus
control getting you closer to this I you know Matt you know the concept of sunk cost Mikey Sun cost fallacy yeah yeah I
think that’s the phrase I think I’m learning it I think it’s becoming evident to No it’s it’s
already there um it’s tough where was like I’ve already spent so much time doing this like I have to carry it on
it’s like no you’re just continuing to that’s like the the quote about the
about boats where they’re like you throw more money into it because you’ve thrown so much into it already it’s like you
cut your losses basically the I’m not cutting two happiest moments or the two best moments in a boat owner’s life is
uh day buys it when did you see this video yeah yeah there like because yeah
the idea of like oh I have a boat you know it’s like you know who the happiest man in the world is the guy just who has
a friend that has a boat like that’s the that’s it really is man yeah I’m I’m
about at the point where I’m just about to give up on this this might be on a uh
a special episode that we do once Mikey checks us down so it hurts out he can’t find evidence as the little hat people
did funny thing is between now and then Mikey’s getting Master right enough to manufacture a replica of whatever this
was you to write me no something saw recently you saw years ago Dude no it wasn’t years ago it was a while back
though but me and okay no I’m just he’s equ no no I believe you I believe you it
you see the humor in it was a while back it was not like a week it was within it
and I had sent it I had sent it to my buddy crane me and him send a bunch of [ __ ] back and forth but the problem is
is T him did you messag him well my thing is is that like [ __ ] gets taken down and so but Crane’s a guy who might
know exactly how to which one it is you think I don’t know it’s like CU it’s so far thing and there’s so many different
ones it’s like cuz him and I were on this like sharing spree for a while of just like World Trade Center [ __ ] like
[ __ ] 911 conspiracy theory stuff and then it was like one that’s how you guys
bonded okay one of us yeah that’s how after 14 years of friendship or 13 years
that’s really brought you close yeah um no but it’s like even through scrolling
back my best friend um through scrolling back through all this it’s like there’s so many different ones that are showing
up as like content unavailable might been taking down that’s what I was saying it’s
very it’s very reasonable that that could have happened
um and yeah I think but that’s the thing as soon as I click out of where I’m at that’s it I’m definitely gone I’m done
for sure but honestly it probably got taken down like if you’re saying you’re
stumbling across enough of those content available things well if the people that you say did it did it it would
surprise God so I’m now clicking out of this you
know what’s funny Mikey what you I was like the people need to know I shouldn’t have said
that you shouldn’t have guys I don’t I think if you look back it’s like if he
didn’t say that Mikey wouldn’t have been compelled to look for this how do you explain this like about to do a magic
trick with this $20 bill no there’s no magic trick how do you explain that Matthew it’s an
illusion no look at it oh the yeah
um I mean how do I explain it yeah they they put the Twin Towers on the back of
a $20 bill bro how do you explain that
well I’m voting for Chris he was like well that settles it he was like it was
true no it was yeah it was just something I’d seen years ago no so you fold it yeah if you so for everybody
watching you take a $20 bill fold it in
half and then with the with the with the face side in yeah so the face side is in
so you got your face side here so the face is closed and then
which I guess it’s the top here no well either way here you go because yeah it’s
already been folded I’ve never had to fold it for somebody else now hold that up for the camera real close Matthew
show y look at that twin no you got to pinch them together look at those look at them yeah twin tow Twin Towers
falling it’s like son of a [ __ ] he’s right why did they put that on our money
and why do you have to fold it so specifically look a cutter funding again Mikey we just got it back we got
$20 guys just got it back you guys are [ __ ] about and I’m over here doing
scientific research someone’s got to someone’s got to you guys want to see what happens
with the five there’ll be a draft that comes out of nowhere and the 20 just goes into the five like holy [ __ ] guys I just think of
like the rock in the Reno 91 movie the grenade drops in the meantime of me scrolling to
find this between me and I’m about to have a bathroom uh check on in the meantime of me trying to scroll through
there and find this I I did find a funny meme that I stared to him and it says
imagine how [ __ ] bad this place stunk and it shows the bedroom in Wily Wonka
oh yeah I’ve seen that one it’s like we not going we not going talk about should
send it to me we not going talk about we not going to talk about what a piece of [ __ ] a piece of [ __ ] Uncle what’s his
name St his bed you know what funny is I put I put that movie on with last week uh [ __ ]
family can’t make rent everybody [ __ ] starve but he get his ass out of bed to go to The Candy Factory that’s a huge
bed there’s like he’s not the only one in that bed there’s a bunch and Charlie
Charli beans that bread there cuz I literally had this movie on last couple weeks cuz I think tub I saw pop up or
something I was like oh put this on for my daughter even young I was put it on the background and he he comes there and
he’s like he you know does back when the kids could get them tobacco get their parents tobacco he’s like toac like I
can’t I can’t smoke it for but it’s like but you can’t get out of bed either yeah that’s what I said yeah he’s [ __ ] you
know he was like shout out to Uncle Jack or whatever his name is stay in bed while his family lose a house but he get
gets out of bed to go to the Chocolate Factory [ __ ] it kind of looks like Bernie
Sanders too uh man there’s a joke I’m making in my head but I don’t think I
can risk making it because it’s related to that one related to
what [Music] yeah it’s it’s getting late though Mikey
okay well if we’re done we’re done if we’re wrapping up we’re wrapping up
like I was just about to find find it I had it it was the next
almost there it’s like a gambling junkie one more pull one more pull guys
at this point I wish I could back actually I’ll be you never never walk away from a
heater I had a hot hand I had the hot hand it was like you never what was that uh was that Wedding Crashers no it was
um uh uh hangover yeah he was like you never walk away Jeffrey Tambour yeah his
advice oh that’s great after they ruined his car oh I
think I think it’s Rec time Mikey I think it is my recommendation of the week is give your friends time to find
find internet videos from sometime within the last four to six years hey
yeah know I’ll give youall time you want uh you know just when your father and uh you
got to you got to take on many many many responsibilities with the child wearing
then uh you only got so much Synergy you got to manage that you got to manage your time in a different way P off using
your kid as an excuse hey man I’m just saying camer concept the concept of
casual time camer look now he’s going to use this as an concept of casual he’s
going to be like look he’s going to be like look see this is the point camera stop working it’s time to get out of
casual time management is a whole would you say you’ve become better
or worse at it oh no I mean I think I’m as good as I could be that’s not pretty much s tier
actually if you’re uh but that doesn’t mean that well I really hate to hear that you
guys were talking about do should we take a bathroom break
before I get into my segment for the week yeah here my segment for the week is
patience if if if the door it’s try get to the house just go on the side my the
alarm is going to go off if my my lesson this week is patience with your friends be patient is this this was all you this
was you teaching us wasn’t it Mikey I always call Mikey the great teacher I call Mikey the great teacher sometimes I
forget I know you’re the Papa son and I’m the te said in uh he’s your son uh Walk Hard he was like the Methuselah or
whatever so and so has been called the methusa then he’s the something of his generate the prophet oh man yeah is
Eddie V’s like speech to getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame I’m pretty sure I Just Energy vampir y’all
Matthew at least he was just watching might have energy vampir the podcast because we were just sitting here talking about all kinds of [ __ ] nut
[ __ ] hey it was fine I was honestly enjoying it that’s why I kept scrolling had y’all stopped talking about to doce
myself here so better okay well uh I’m not joking though not disgusting well uh
recommendation of the week is uh you know [ __ ] your pants in a while maybe
don’t don’t keep pressing things waiting if there’s something pressing handle
it if you’re doing a pod if you’re if you’re just getting in the podcast game it might it’s not a bad idea to wear
adult diapers sometimes you know what actually might be the move is to get like the little camping
toilets but doctor them up so it looks like you’re sitting quiers you know maybe sit there with
some ashless chaps that look like just be as changing out yeah you’re just sitting there you know cuz then you
could pee sitting down I believe it was Winston Church Hill that said nothing less to say but stand be squee
